River Ranch was our launching pad for a PEI cycling vacation. The property was spotless, extremely well-appointed, and one of the nicer properties we have enjoyed over many years of rental vacations.
Excellent location near to Cavendish and Stanley Bridge.
If you're a cyclist, rolling hills aplenty on quiet roads.
The property manager responded quickly to queries and went a step above to ensure our comfort.
I wouldn't hesitate a second to return to this lovely house if we plan on returning to the area.

We had a family reunion / vacation (13 people, 6 adults, 7 children) Positives: We wanted a central location to the activities on PEI and this house had the right location. The living space was large and comfortable. The basement recreation and movie space was great for the whole family. The yard was well kept and spacious for playing outside. The smaller kids really enjoyed the swing set. We found the house clean and well equipped. We ate outside alot on the deck table and the picnic table. The road into the housing development needs some potholes filled, but that would be the only negative I could think of, and the renter obviously is not responsible for that. This is a perfect place to vacation on PEI. Oh, and the view from the house is "Amazing."

We had a lovely week at this property in PEI. We were 6 adults and two children staying at the property. Communication was very easy and timely with Alisha in the months leading up to our trip as well as while we were there. The house had everything you could need and all supplies were provided for the week (ex: dishwashing soap, detergent, toilet paper etc) which was great because we didn't have to worry about going out to and getting our own. We were there during a very hot week in July and the upstairs was very warm, AC only on the main floor and basement. They did provide plenty of fans but a little difficult with young children. Also to keep in the mind, there is no bathroom on the second floor where two of the bedrooms are, the powder room is in the basement. Overall great week and would definitely stay there again!

Home is centrally located and convenient to visit the island. The home is well equipped and ideal for a family vacation. Great for visiting Cavendish area with ti enjoy golf on the island.

Stay here!
If anyone is looking for a large, clean, comfortable place to stay...this is it. From the moment we booked to checkout our experience was flawless. Alisha(home manager) was the best and answered all of our questions promptly. The house was spotless when we arrived. The neighbourhood is very nice and only 10min to Cavendish. It has a huge yard which was perfect for the kids. It also has a swingset...which we didn't realize until we go there. We packed so many things that we didn't need to because they were already at the house re: washer toss, beach toys, beach chairs, frisbee, extra blankets/pillows, coffee....you name it! We would highly recommend this property. You won't regret it.

Vacation within Atlantic bubble.
We stayed at this house for three nights I July. The house and property were beautiful and well kept. Everything we needed was supplied. All you need are your clothes and food. The property was just a short drive into Cavendish and close to everything you required. I would highly recommend the property. Alisha was very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. We definitely would return.

Spotless beautiful home with everything a family would need!
Loved our most recent stay. House had everything you could ever want in a rental property. House was spotless clean and a great location. Close to everything but outside of the crowds. Only suggestion would be air conditioning upstairs as it was a bit warm. Overall would highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay here. The main floor was great. A well stocked kitchen a bbq and chairs to sit outside in the evening. The upstairs bedrooms would be great for kids but as adults we could have used some more furniture in them. A chair and table or desk would have been helpful as would luggage racks for our suitcases. Nonetheless it was a wonderful place to stay and we would recommend it to you

Hurricane!
We were in the lovely Airbnb less than 24 hours because of Hurricane Dorian. We were out of power within 5 hours of being there.
It was no fault of anyone!
The home itself would have been a delight in every way.
Alisha was warm and welcoming and did her very best under trying circumstances!

1st Class
We so enjoyed this place and working with Alisha, it was a 1st Class experience. The place is well looked after and is exactly as shown on the site. Lots of room for kids to run about. It is very close to Cavendish and about 30 minute highway drive to Charlottetown and Summerside. The house is well equipped and very very clean. The challenge is sorting waste but that is nothing to do with the place it is the requirements of the province....Communication with Alisha was excellent and she was very responsive at all times. You will not be sorry renting this location. Would recommend for groceries you buy at Walmart in Summerside. The grocery stores were quite expensive and the produce was not the greatest. Surprisingly Walmart produce was a lot nicer and cheaper.

Great stay in a lovely house
Comfortable, modern, well-equipped home in a convenient, quiet and scenic setting. We were five adults and three teen-agers, a blend of three families and three generations, and the house was perfect. Lots of space indoors and out for everyone to socialize or to find some private space. Alisha, the house manager who lives two doors away, was very pleasant and super efficient. A lovely first stay for all of us in PEI. Five stars.

Exquisite home!
The house and view of the river were beyond our expectations. Our group of six spent a lot of time out during the days (of our one week stay) but found ourselves itching to get back to the house for early evenings to enjoy a game of ping pong or just sit down as a family with a board game.
I would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Being only 10 mins from Cavendish was extremely convenient for us.

Perfect Golf Retreat
This was our second time staying here and we loved it even more than the first time. If you are golfing in Cavendish, this is the ideal location. We played Glasgow Hills, Andersons Creek, Red Sands, and Green Gables and the longest drive was about 12 minutes. The location is perfect, but the amenities within the house make it that much better. Plenty of space to lounge around, and the covered portion of the deck allows you to hang out outdoors or BBQ even in the rain. We would definitely be looking to stay here for a third time. Also, any inquiries we had were taken care of immediately. Absolutely love this spot!

Perfect!
We choose this property for a girls retreat and it exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and located close by to cavendish where we could go for a nice walk by the ocean. Would definitely go there again!

Lovely stay
This house was perfect for us. Loved the fire pit in the back and the ping pong table downstairs. My kids loved the bunk beds. Location is SO quiet. A nice break from our Los Angeles reality. Thank you:)

Fantastic, clean, excellent location for golf and Cavendish
The property is in like new condition and very clean; just as described. The basement is completely finished with a large flat screen TV. We would recommend this rental home to our friends or anyone seeking exceptional value on vacation.
The caretakers were excellent to deal with and always quick to respond.

Great home with lots of space to spread out and flat backyard
Stayed late May 2018. Our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed this home and yard. All five kids had their own bed and we enjoyed playing ball in the backyard as well as using the gas fire pit. Kitchen and laundry was very well-stocked. Only drawback was the several empty walls where nails and hangers are, but not a big deal. Close to everything we wanted to do on PEI.

fantastic island getaway
I want to write a negative article for this place so that it is always available whenever I go back to PEI for I would stay here over and over. It is great. They have thought of every amenity. You don't need to bring anything except food, beer and a couple of changes of clothes!

Beautiful new home close to Cavendish
We had an enjoyable stay. 3 couples used it as home base as we toured around PEI. It was great that we were able to enjoy some PEI seafood dinners at our own home. The house is new with everything you need. (Bring your own spices if you're cooking) The only down side for our group was the double beds in two of the rooms. Nice if they were able to replace with queens at least. There are two bathrooms our group could have used a third. All in all awesome stay!
