We were thrilled to be able to move in prior to check in time as we had moved locations from another property. The villa was very comfortable and located on ground floor which was convenient. The beach front at Villas of Galleon is large and this is one of 7 mile beaches great locations.

Fabulous location. Can easily walk to several restaurants, bars, a local gym, grocery. Loved the beach and beach chairs. We rented a car and dove in the am and explored the island in the afternoon. Kitchen was well appointed for anything you need. Liked the daily maid service. Really enjoyed and will come again

The property manager Lisa answered all our questions and made Check-in a breeze. We had a couple of small issues with the unit, but Lisa took care of them immediately. The housekeeper Kelly also did a great job!
I reserved this unit in 2020 just before the Covid 19 world shutdown. Ralph, the owner, was kind enough to refund my deposit (as opposed to a future credit). I remembered this gesture and made sure I reserved again as soon as possible.
The complex has a quiet, uncrowded, neighborhood feel. Everyone was friendly, even the "neighborhood" cats and chickens. Imagine the complete opposite atmosphere of the Westin or Ritz.

Lisa and Ralph were great to work with and very responsive. Place was very clean and well stocked. Location is excellent, right between Ritz and Westin so plenty of dining options. Couple things to know, which they have accomodated, but the roosters will be very active at sunlight (6am) and the Master doesnt have curtains/blinds because it is a high window. But they do provide masks and earplugs if needed. Personally, we enjoyed getting up early for coffee and a walk on the beach as well as getting chairs reserved. I think they have more to set out but with what was on the beach they were pretty much all taken by 8am. I didnt bring it up as it wasnt issue for us, we took a towel and book and occupied 2 by 6am each morning.

This condo is in the Villas of the Galleon. The beach and shade trees are excellent, the condo is very nice. This condo is very convenient to many restaurants and grocery stores located nearby. The only downside at all was carrying our luggage to the third floor location.

We traveled to Cayman for a wedding, so made a vacation out of it. My husband had stayed at Villas of the Galleon years ago and wanted to stay there again.
We lucked out for sure! The owner, Ralph, is very personable, great with communications and detailed information. Check in was a breeze. The unit is gorgeous and fully equipped. We were lacking for nothing.
And Villas is a perfect location on Seven Mile, relaxing and serene. The tropical beauty of the property is breathtaking.

As advertised, wonderful, two bedroom condo overlooking the beach. Crystal clear water, beautiful sand. If you are a big snorkeler, you will have to go elsewhere to snorkel on to good fish, but that’s easy to do.

What a great property. Everyone was wonderful to work with. The location on Seven Mile beach was perfect. We did not rent a car so we cabbed or walked to restaurants. We had a wonderful week in the Cayman's staying in this unit. Lisa, the property manager, helped us setup a fishing and snorkeling trip and the housekeeping staff, led by Grace, was incredibly friendly and kind. The best part is there is never a battle for beach space. The complex is in-between the Ritz-Carleton and the Westin - and their beaches are packed. This complex has very few units therefore, there are always plenty of chairs and shade for everyone. A huge plus! The unit itself was in good shape. Definitely a nice place to stay.

This condo, located in the Villas of the Galleon, has a prime location on Seven Mile Beach, sandwiched between the Ritz-Carlton and The Westin. You are literally 150 feet from the beach. The condo is beautiful. Impeccably furnished and appointed. Even the linens and towels are top notch. We felt very welcomed and pampered. Everything worked perfectly and we can’t recommend this property enough. Communication with Ralph, the property owner was excellent. We had great communication from the condo agent Lisa, and she met us in the condo at check in. She also had cold drinks and lots of area suggestions waiting for us. There are plenty of food shops and restaurants within walking distance. Special recognition for Lloyd’s Smokehouse and Casa 43. The smoked chicken at Lloyd’s and the Gringo tacos at Casa 43 are life changing! Great tequila selection at Casa 43 too. And another shout out to Andrew the security guard at the property. He was a big help throughout our stay and helped everyday with our beach chairs and umbrellas. You also get housekeeping service everyday at this condo. Grace did a wonderful job for us each day. We had a wonderful vacation and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot! Thanks for a wonderful condo!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo has been recently renovated and everything is in immaculate condition, very clean and well appointed. The location cannot be beaten - you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and even though you are between the Ritz and the Westin (which is helpful for water sports, restaurants, etc.) this property gives you a open peaceful area of the beach. There are ample beach chairs and umbrellas. The owner was very helpful and went out of their way to help make our trip a success. The property manager, Lisa, was on hand for any questions we had and the daily housekeeping is a nice added bonus. We would definitely come back to this property.

The convenience of the location is second only to the gorgeous beach and views from this condo. We learned how to scuba dive from the company at the Westin next door which made it so easy to walk the beach to hop on the boats to the dive sites, no time wasted shuttling around the island. The lovely condo itself had everything we could possibly need to make our own breakfasts and lunches and was walking distance to plenty of dinner options on the beach or across the road. The beds were cozy, the bathrooms were updated and chic, the housekeeper Grace was a delight and Ralph was extremely helpful with his recommendations once we booked. Thanks to those suggestions don't feel like we missed out on any special moments the island has to offer. We have told anyone who will listen about this gem and are already planning our next visit!

Ralph's home is beautiful--situated on the best stretch of beach on 7MB, right between the Ritz and the Westin. We hope to come back in future years!
Communication with Ralph ahead of the vacation was clear and consistent. His property manager Lisa waited to welcome us into the home, in spite of our flight being an hour delayed. She knows the island had VoG incredibly well. The kitchen and bathrooms are new, and the entire unit is immaculate. View from the deck is of the ocean and beach. The beds are super comfortable, AC works great. Grace came daily to clean and tidy the house--a great treat in a condo. The kitchen is well equipped and we used Fosters Online ordering to delivery groceries. Water tastes great. No little "gotchas" that sometimes annoy in a rental. Five stars all around.

My husband and I have traveled to Cayman before and knew Villas of Galleon was located on a nice area of Seven Mile Beach. The condo was nice and clean with an ocean view. The size of the condo was so nice, could easily fit a small family or twi couples. We stayed in a few nights and the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance if you can drag yourself away from the beach. Watched the sun set from our beach chairs with a glass of wine every evening. Location, location, location…. wow. Just steps from one of the best beaches in the world… powder white sand, turquoise water, warm breeze and beautiful shade trees…. if you haven’t been to Grand Cayman, this is the spot. I spent many hours looking at properties all around the island and this was an exceptional find. The quiet private beach with access to restaurants at the hotels was the best of both worlds. A 200 ft. beach stroll for a casual poolside lunch at the Westin… a 400 ft. stroll to Governor’s Beach for some excellent reef snorkeling… it’s just a remarkable spot.
Ralph was very gracious in helping us navigate the changing covid requirements and offering flexibility. Lisa (local property manager/liaison) was so welcoming and met us at the condo to give us all the information we needed to settle in. Grace was so helpful and accommodating in coming to help with tidying up, making the beds, and refreshing the linens.
We were two adults and three children and it worked out great. Lisa brought in a rollaway bed so we didn’t have to open up the couch which was perfect. The extra effort to make us comfortable was notable.
We had many incredible meals on the Island… if you’re a foodie, you won’t be disappointed. If you like to hang out on the beach… you’ll be in heaven. If you like to snorkel and scuba dive… then you already know. Outdoor adventures… yep, that too (botanical garden, bioluminescent kayaking, swimming with stingrays, hiking, etc…). Kids activities… mmm hmm… Cayman Turtle Center has feeding, kid friendly snorkeling, water slide.

Ralph's property is fantastic! The ocean is literally 50 feet away and this unit has the best view of the entire VOG complex. We could let our kids play in the sand and watch them from the balcony if we wanted. There are no seedy people trying to sell you things like other beach trips we have taken. The water is incredibly clear. Even if you swim 1/4 mile out to sea you can see straight through to the bottom and might see some stingrays. The property has some shared beach toys. The unit itself is very comfortable and has all new stainless steel appliances and good quality cookware. We stayed here right before the world was shut down due to COVID-19 and it was a perfect (although too brief) escape.

We’ve stayed at several rental condos on SMB for the last 7 years, and this is easily the best, most comfortable and livable place out of all of them. The view is amazing, the kitchen and bathrooms are newly renovated with modern appliances and fixtures, and the entire condo is airy and spacious with lofted ceilings. The beach is literally 20 steps away, and a number of great restaurants (Casa 43, Seven Mile Burger, Sunshine Grill to name a few) are within easy walking distance. The beach is wide and uncrowded, compared to Westin and Ritz next door. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We definitely see ourselves coming back, hopefully staying longer than a week next time.

We do a lot of traveling and our whole family agreed this is the ideal spot! The water is crystal clear and the beach immaculate. The people on the island are all so friendly. It is great for kids because there are so many activities yet it still feels remote. This unit is just perfect. We spoke with many other guests and looked at many other units and feel like this one can’t be beat. It is quiet, comfortable and very clean/updated. We spent hours every day snorkeling, lounging, playing with the provided water toys and throwing football in the sand. There are so many great restaurants in walking distance. You have to go the Sunshine Grill for the taco trio and we had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at Luca- some of my family had their Thanksgiving buffet and a few of us wanted their Italian, it’s delicious. We of course went swimming with the stingrays and went on a very memorable breakfast snorkel cruise. The villas have well maintained gardens and lawns which makes the whole place feel serene and tropical, we even saw a few iguanas roaming while there. The owners gave us so much piece of mind before the trip with all of their suggestions on what to do, where to dine and what to expect. We went there with very high expectations and it did not disappoint. We can’t wait to return!

Property is perfectly situated on seven mile beach with close access to local shopping, food and dive shops. Beach was immaculate and not overly populated. We stayed at a hotel in years past and the same cannot be said for our experience there. Condo was perfect for our family and we would definitely recommend with a two thumbs up rating. We had a great vacation and really enjoyed staying in unit 70 once again, it’s the best unit at VoG! Freshly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms really set Ralph’s unit apart from the rest. Staying there was truly fantastic! The view from the unit looks directly onto the sugar beach and tranquil blue waters, waking to that view each day was breath taking and oh so relaxing. We’re definitely repeat guests here for a reason - Ralph’s unit surpasses expectations and he has a keen focus on guests and their experience on the island.
