Great view, big rooms, great food, great owners! Clean area and hard working team
My bed needed more pillows! I only had 2 small pillows for huge bed. Maybe a minimum of 4 big pillows would be good. Also needed bigger blanket and our bathroom did not have any complimentary soap or shampoo.

The pool area is beautiful and relaxing.
The room that was given to us is not ocean view or pool view. The customer service is really bad. We asked our room to get clean and take the trash, and nothing happened. Cheap service yet expensive hotel.
Their excuse is that they are in new management. Never ever again! This is my honest during our 4 days stay.

the only thing we liked was the pool and the view
We took the risk despite the bad reviews. it was a mistake. We booked a stay for 2 nights, and after talking to the owner, we extended our stay for another 2 nights. it was not possible to pay by card, they didn't want us to book our stay via booking and said we could pay later. when we went to pay they told us to pack up and leave because they already had other guests for our 3 rooms. they left us with nothing. literally homeless by the hour.

I like the place because it's quiet and peaceful
Well, we booked a room with an ocean view but when we arrived we are told that no available, there were exchanges of words until they give us an oceanview room. The main swimming pool is not available as they have a repainting works, swimming pool is our deciding factor to book this place. Food in the restaurant is not worth it, mere coffee is very expensive. Not worth it!

The ocean view. We liked the only server and front desk person at the same time. Although, so very short staff.
Nice person but we felt bad, so short for help.
The room was not ready. No free shampoo, toothbrush, and soap. There was a cockroach in the room. No enough blankets. The electricity turned off in the morning and the management did not turn on the generator until multiple guests came to complain about how hot it was in rooms. The location is not so visible where to go, it didn’t look like the pictures, so we thought we were lost. There’s a construction in the resort that looks like abandoned. The pool looked dirty, greenish instead of blue. There were frogs too.
The room was so old, the smell was of course also old. The only thing we loved was the ocean view, but we will not go back there.
The owner of the place and his friends were drinking all night at the lobby and they fell asleep afterwards, it’s hard to discuss concerns with the owner because he could not speak English much. He had to call his friend who could speak English, who was also drunk lol.

We arrived late and tried calling the phone # on file but no one is answering. When we found the place, no one is there to welcome us. The owner was at the so called reception area watching TV and didn't even welcome us. As if they are also a guest. Upon check in was advised their restaurant is closed early. Told them we'll do 7:30am bfast but we had it 8am. We checked out early because the property is not worth what we paid. The pool isn't blue as it on the photo posted here. We have 2 nights remaining but they didn't refund our remaining days. Also, tried to negotiate with the Chinese owner but won't face us and made excuses.

Absolutely a dump and I am not exaggerating! Dirty, unfriendly owner, Phillipines staff was nice but no hospitality experience, pool was stagnant and green, first thing entering warned of a 5000piso fine bringing in food or drink, then offers only small overpriced bottles of water and high price food, grounds and public areas were filthy and in disrepair, exercise equipment were discarded home style pool table should be scraped!
No joke this place should not even be listed!
I witnessed several customers turn around and leave upon check in and overheard they would not get a refund, I certainly want one, the next day I walked 2 miles and went to Coco Grove for breakfast that was the highlight of my trip! I will certainly not recommend bookings.com unless they make this right!

Old, porly furnished, rock hard chinese beds, not a cod hanger or soap in the rooms.
Advertisement pictures are not what you see when you arrive. Not value for money!!!!

We got the chance to relax in a place that was really the definition of peace and quiet and not to mention the breathtaking view of the beach. The room was very spacious with such friendly staff & management. Definitely worth the stay. 5 stars all the way!

The location & the pool with sunset view
It’s an old resort that has so much potential but with a management which I think is not open to develop the resort and train their staff. The Chinese owner can’t even speak English, the staff are not trained to do their job properly. Room is dirty, hard mattress, broken bed, no bidet, old shower, clogged shower sink, dirty towels and bed linens. The worst is the Chinese owner who plays loud Chinese music every night while everyone else is chilling in the dining and pool area.

The resort is accessible and near tourist spots and restaurants. Staffs and owner are very accommodating and generous to consider our last-minute requests. The food is okay and we had a comfortable stay in our room. 👌👌👌

Nice location, easy access to tourist spots, with breathtaking sea view that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Massive pool, perfect for swimming laps or simply lounging in the sun. Exercise equipment are available, plus a billiard table - provides a great option for socializing and enjoying some friendly competition.
Although the food at the resort was enjoyable, I found myself wishing for more variety in the breakfast options. As I stayed at the resort for several days, eating the same items became monotonous. Additionally, the restaurant was not yet open during my stay, but I understood that the resort had recently reopened after the pandemic, so there were limited dining options available. Despite this, I still had a good overall experience with the food at the resort.

The garden
No really restaurant available. It was hard to understand the Staff. When we arrived nobody was speaking English (and they could not understand my Chinese). Later only 1 person was speaking English.

EVERYTHING. We were hesitant to book this place due to the bad reviews but went out on a limb and risked it for the biscuit. So happy we did, the pool area is amazing and has a beautiful sunset, the room was clean enough, shower pressure is fine. It’s a bang for your buck. Its not a 5 star resort so don’t expect that but we enjoyed our stay thank you!

The scenario of nature around is really pretty.
I have ordered this room separately with a friend who has ordered another room. When we arrived, he found out he made a reservation one day earlier and they did not contact him and sold this room again so they did not have room for him. So he asked them for refund and they tried to manipulate him into cancelling via website on his own so he would lose almost everything from the reservation costs. During the time he was solving the issue, different people were coming and cancelling their bookings for different reasons - cockroaches in the room, just cold water, ... so i guess this is not the only negative review. I was sleeping, woke up and found out cockroaches on my own. Terrible experience. The water was always cold also. Because of cockroaches, just cold water and my friend in different resort, I have spent just one day of the days done in reservation and checked out at the no very english speaking stuff. Then I messaged them and asked for a partial refund for the second day because there are 2 reasons (roaches, cold water) and 1 discussable reason (my friend elsewhere caused by them). They did not answer the message on booking. I called the number, and it was answered by a woman, i told her about my refund request and that i sent her a message in booking. She opened the booking, found a message, and agreed we would continue a discussion about a refund there. THEN I DID NOT GET ANY ANSWER. I have tried a few more escalation messages and no answer. So i called the number again, and the call was rejected. I tried to call again, and it looks like MY NUMBER WAS BLOCKED. So I had to contact booking support and I plan to inform the national police here.

Everything. Worse Hotel. The room smells cockroaches. The bathroom has molds on it and its doors is see through. We asked the front desk to be transferred, but the front desk woman (who is the wife of the owner) is not there. So, we have to talk to the owner who is Chinese and doesn’t speak neither English nor Cebuano/Tagalog. The owner was really rude and straight up told us the room is clean, nothing wrong.

Terrible worn down place with close to no service and nothing one would expect even from the most basic of a hostel. No soap. Broken tv. Thin walls. Poor service. No bidet. No toothbrush or even soap or shampoo.

The leader of the resort speaks no english. When we arrived we had the feeling the resort is closed. No other guests, restaurant was closed everything was not ready for guests. We get something "like" an upgrade but this made it not better

NOTHING TO LIKE.
my partner and I recently booked 4 nights at the siquijor eastern garan seaview resort. When we arrived we found our room full of bugs, 2 lizards, no toilet paper, dirty, smelled awful and the toilet cracked. We were shown other rooms by the hotelier all of which smelled bad and were dirty and full of insects. We told the manager we could not stay in the rooms and agreed that we would stay somewhere else and we would get a refund. the manager is now refusing to give us a refund even though we never stayed there. Looking at the reviews it appears as though this hotel has been misleading other tourists also. We’ve been left paying a bill for 4 nights for a hotel we never stayed at. We’ve escalated this to DTI Phillipines.

The owner is very accommodating. Although we travel as a family, they are very considerate considering that we exceeded the allowed number of persons in a room.. they even change our accommodation into larger family room without additional charge… the service is exceptional… we can bring food from the outside. and most importantly, the pool is clean sea water which is very health… the children loved it the most… very big infinity swimming pool… you can view the sunset from the pool… facing the Apo Island…
and the internet is superb… there is connectivity everywhere in the property…

Personal, didnt greet, and answerd as little as possible at attention.
The lock to the room you could easily open without any force even when locked.
