Absolutely horrendous rip off didn't provide accommodation and took my money

Good sized room and bathroom for one person and good facilities

Central location in Bromley High Street Functional room with fridge microwave kettle toaster and ensuite shower.

Poor quality mattress, you can feel the springs poke into your back. Walls smudged and in need of paint. Vinyl flooring coming loose. My room was not as shown in the pictures. Tatty looking.

My room could of done with a lick of paint, and some of the blinds didn’t work.

The bed was very comfortable. Even though the facility is unattended, the staff were in continuous contact through Whatsapp providing instructions to reach the room. The room has everything needed for proper sleep, even a little desk.

The lights in the room were too dim. It was hard to read at night. When somebody accessed the hall the lights got through the room. The shower was too hot and I couldn't figure out how to make it colder.

My room had been given to someone else. I stood outside the room for over two hours trying to get a accros to someone but no one from TLK was responding. The other occupants family then came around insinuating I was a safety risk to them and wanted to start becoming aggressive. I attempted to contact someone but no one at the property would reply. Also, The bed was infested with bed bugs. At my previous stay the room smelled so bad like a rat had died in it. Both times nothing had been done.

It was very noisy at 4am. Was difficult in closing the window. Then when we did ,there was an irritating noise from the extractor fan.

Location and the staff. Everything super clean and organise. Beautiful area and all services inside the room.

Unfortunately the bed was in a very very bad condition, like very old and every time you were going to seat on it or sleep you were feeling the bed springs going inside you, unfortunately very bad they need to change it with also their pillow. For the rest all good

Dirty stained carpet. Broken shower head. Blocked shower drain. TV not working. Mattress wiry and uncomfortable (not fit for purpose).

My wife and I stayed overnight in Room 105 at TLK BECKENHAM (check in 24th June, 2023). The following morning (25th June, 2023), before leaving the apartment we reported, by email, the following problems at the apartment to TLK: When we opened the fridge door on our arrival at the apartment, water ran out so we had to mop it up with one of their small towels, There must have been a blockage in the water outlet in the shower as the water ran out extremely slowly from the shower tray which made it almost impossible to have a shower without the tray shower overflowing AND it was extremely difficult to turn both the knob controlling the water temperature and the knob controlling the water flow. When my wife was trying to turn down the temperature on the shower to prevent the shower tray overflowing there was a serious danger that she would be scalded by the extremely hot water! The “plug” in the bathroom sink needed to be fixed - it was not possible to close it completely, The toilet seat is not fitted properly and needed to be fitted properly - there was a possible leak from the toilet, All night long there was a humming noise from some sort of electrical equipment (possibly a walk-in fridge) behind the building which made it very difficult to have a decent night’s sleep, There was no information in the apartment about fire regulations and escape route in the event of a fire. The toilet didn't flush properly and that also needed attention! The following, 26th June, 2023, I emailed TLK requesting a full refund because of the very poor accommodation. I had to keep emailing them a number of times before I eventually got through to someone who offered to help, but then she went off on holiday for about 2 weeks and nobody else took over from her while she was away. Mid July I was offered a 50% refund and several days later I received the refund from booking.com to the credit card I used for the original booking. So overall not a very good experience of staying here!

The location is very convenient to family we visit on our trips to London

We were relocated to a different address without prior notification and were told the move granted us an upgrade from the room originally booked. However the room at the new address was worse than the one we chose and the bathroom was so small you would not even call it a bathroom...

The location was good. Nothing else.

Its says 24/7 reception but we got locked out of our room at 11:30 and no one answered any of the contact numbers until 80am the next day, we had to sleep on the floor all night. and we weren't the only ones, some people in the room near us had the same issue and slept in the hallway. When they finally answered our messages on whatapps they said no one would be there until 10 to let us in. We waited, the got told the cleaners didn't have a spare key for that room and they would need to contact a maintenance man and it would be another hour. They refused to answer my calls and started getting very aggressive over whatsapp suggesting it was our fault they didn't have a spare key for the room and that they would fine us. If they can't get access to a room at any point they should be allowed to sell it, we were very patient and polite considering I had just slept on a hard floor in my pjs. At the very least I would have expected a phone call to explain the situation, instead I got some very rude messages with threats of fine. We hadn't lost the key, the key was in the room with all of our stuff and it was the only door they locked itself. the other rooms needed a key the shut from the outside.

Location.

The bed was badly worn . Sagging and the metal frame could be felt. Requested change of mattress. Didn't happen. Asked to change room. Told none were available. Had to have a second quilt to lay on for any type of comfort.

The room absolutely stank of cigarettes, there was no soap or antibacterial hand sanitizer The windows didn't lock The carpet was filthy

I could hear the couple next door have sex like 5 times. Honestly, I know it can't be helped. But I'm still pissed at the fact he came like 5 times, and she never arrived once.

Nothing. Absolutely disgusting… how they can charge people for this is beyond me… my rooms was covered in hair, makeup, dirty marks and dust. It was also freezing, the bed had hardly any duvet on it a thin sheet a one pillow is so minimal. Reception was rude and no help.
