Vicki is a most thoughtful host, from the generous extras like breakfast and wine and chocolates to her obvious personal investment in the house to make it interesting, homely and comfortable. She also supports her guests with relevant information like a cold night approaching.
The house is great, the surrounds magnificent. Certainly a peaceful and comfortable stay. Thanks so much.

My friends and I stayed for three nights over new years. The house and view were stunning. The fireplace was well stocked and easy to operate. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights, it was most relaxed break we have had for a long time. The beds are so comfortable, rooms are clean and decorated beautifully. We will definitely come back.

What a beautiful spot this is. Central to all the highlands have to offer. The home itself is just that a home. It feels like going on holidays to your nan and pops, if they were rich and respected the traditional way of life.

We really enjoyed our stay in Vicki's lovely farmhouse. We experienced some out of season cold weather, and high winds, but were very comfortable and warm with a lovely fireplace, wood provided, and heaters in our bedrooms plus comfortable warm bedding. It is a beautiful property and we enjoyed watching the lambs and their mothers getting up to some antics, e.g. trying to cross over the grid and eating flowers in the garden if they could reach them.
I really didnt want to leave and didnt see as much as I thought I would because it was so comfortable in the house. Vicki was very attentive to our needs and a lovely host.

Very nice location in scenic country. The house was very cold, and even with the fire place on high, (sorry about how much fire wood we used but it was the only way we could stay warm in the lounge room). We could never use the dining room as it was freezing - no heater.
To use the kitchen was so cold, so we had to sit in the lounge room with our dinner plates. The number of negative signs threatening fines, if you didn't do this or that took away the friendliness of the house.. How about some positive signs telling you about what you could do, where you could go and how to use internet, tv, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel View. The house was warm and cosy when we arrived. When the rain set in, we were happy to stay around the fireside and relax in the peaceful ambiance. Thanks for a great few days.

The cottage was just as pictured but is even more spacious than we expected. There was a lovely warm fire to great us and the house was so cosy and warm. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with fresh eggs, bacon and milk in the fridge and chocolates and wine on the table. The view is incredibly beautiful and the setting serene and very private. This is a home very worthy of it's many 5 star reviews

Beautiful cosy home, perfect in a lovely quiet location with a gorgeous outlook. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything anyone could need. Very welcoming with the log fire burning and treats of wine and chocolates, and farm eggs and bacon for breakfast. Would love to go back again. Thank you so much :)

Booking with Vicki was so easy and pleasant.
Vicki, your home is a gem, the beautiful decor reminded me of my grandmother's home.
The well maintained gardens overlooking the green hills were so picturesque.
The cosiness of the home in general, walking into the lounge with a lit fireplace was a feeling second to none.
The comfortable beds that had plenty of blankets and throws.
The complimentary breakfast that fed the 6 of us with tea and coffee, was delicious.
I definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here, do it! You will not be disappointed.

This property was perfect for our weekend of wedding celebrations. The 2 bathrooms were ideal for the 5 of us. The bacon & eggs provided went down a treat. The place was warm with a fabulous fireplace and heaters in each room. Very comfortable home.

A beautiful spot with spectacular views. Close to both Robertson and Burrawang makes it convenient to pop out for supplies or meals. A wonderful fire made our stay most enjoyable in unseasonably cold and windy weather.
Cleanliness couldn’t be faulted with comfy beds and lovely hot showers.

We (family of 7) were in Robertson for a long weekend in October. We really enjoyed the fireplace and cozy bedrooms (it was cold and wet outside) and the welcome gifts.
Plenty of room for all of us, and only a very short drive to Robertson. Would recommend.

Peace and quite with fantastic views
Lovely house, big rooms, wood heater , beautifully decorated. Comfy beds. Breakfast supplies provided and bottle wine/chocolates on arrival. Robertson or Burrawang very short drive away. Great place for peace and quite and relaxing.

Weekend Getaway
Laurel View was just what the doctor ordered !
We arrived to a beautiful roaring fire, which warmed the house, Judith and I were blown away by the spectacular views, beautiful furnishings and the fridge filled with a choice of things for breakfast ! Absolutely everything had been thought of ! Even wine and chocolates !! So close to places to visit. All in all a great weekend get away. We will definitely back.

Lovely rural location
This is an old property set amongst green pastures. The location is quiet and only a few kilometres to Robertson. We found it well situation to exploring the region.
The property itself could do with a good clean and thorough dusting. The insides of cupboard and shelves were grubby. Whilst there was some lovely trinkets and pieces throughout the home, there was an overwhelming amount of “stuff” that detracted from the property’s charm. (It is like the house has been used as a place where all the family bring everything that don’t use or want.)
Just be aware that thE only heating in the main area is the fireplace .There is no heating in the kitchen or dining room or bathrooms!
In saying all of this, we still enjoyed our time there. It was peaceful and relaxing with wonderful rural views.

Laurel View is a beautiful hilltop home with lovely views over valleys and rolling hills. The gardens were fun to explore and immaculately maintained. The house was so comfortable and contained delightful furnishings and lighting. The host generously provided everything we could wish for and made out stay perfect. Highly recommended.
