We booked a few days here to move our oldest daughter into college at PLNU. The house was perfectly situated in close proximity to the campus to provide our daughter with a sense of what living in the area would be like and the opportunity to explore the area for places she might like to eat, shop and explore. The house was ideal to accommodate our family of 5 and the hosts were attentive and easily accessible. The daily views of the ocean were absolutely stunning. My favorite part of my time there was to sit on the front porch and watch the sunset. You can also enjoy the sunset from the dining room table!

This property served as a perfect base for best gal friends from college to reunite for a long weekend. We appreciated the Spanish Tudor architecture, incredible view of the ocean, and long walks along the Sunset Cliffs. The home was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had all the amenities needed to relax and enjoy our stay. Jenny and Richard were on the property (guesthouse) while we were visiting, making is very easy to communicate with them. We would happily return for another visit.

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was absolutely beautiful and the area was lovely. We enjoyed walking down to the cliffs every morning and hiking. Everyone in the neighborhood was super friendly.
Jennie was an awesome host and had super quick communication. We stayed as a family of 7 and were very comfortable. We hope to be able to stay again in the future.

The house was everything we hoped it would be and more. Very spacious, very clean, and centrally located to the various locations that we were interested in. Close to the San Diego Zoo, Legoland and Sea World. Sunset Cliffs was just a short drive away. It was truly a home away from home with plenty of unexpected extras. If we ever come to the area again we would definitely stay here again. Thank You to Jenni for opening up this beautiful house.

We loved staying at this house - perfect for a group of 5-6 people. The bedrooms are comfortable and each has a beautifully updated bathroom. The living room is comfortable and beautiful and the kitchen is large, functional with nice appliances and well equipped. The house is a classic 1920s Spanish style - just what old San Diego should look like, but totally modern on the inside. Location is great - quiet and with a view of the ocean but only 15-20 minutes from downtown and Balboa Park. About 25 minutes to La Jolla and Torrey Pines. Great grocery store around the corner. The owners are very welcoming as well. Would definitely stay here again next time in San Diego with a group of family or friends.

Perfect location and home to bring our family together in a very nicely appointed location. Perfect looking at the Pacific during dinner and everyone had their own wonderfully appointed bedroom and beautiful bathrooms. The great room was large with soaring ceilings and windows and a large TV with seats for all to watch the parade and some football during our stay. The kitchen had everything a chef needed for our feast and many extras that were appreciated.

Convenient to the Pacific coastline, and beaches, restaurants, the National park, downtown and even Torry Pines. Great location for walking. Highly recommend.

This is the nicest house I've rented. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Three really nice bedrooms with each of us having our own bathrooms. The house was very comfortable and everything you needed was supplied. The backyard was spacious, beautiful and we enjoyed use of the patio furniture. The owner was very easy to communicate with. This is an absolutely stunning Historical home in San Diego. The pictures and descriptions were beautiful, but actually don't do this property justice. It was spotless and well stocked with pantry staples and any appliance you might need. The owners are lovely and very responsive to any needs you may have. Our stay here didn't feel like we were 'renting' space but felt like we were visiting with family. I can't say enough about how Jennie and Richard made our family feel welcome. Visits from the dog Buddy were an added bonus.

We traveled as a group of three couples who have been great friends for years. The house was the highlight of our trip. The location in San Diego was perfect. The home was clean, warm and inviting and the decor beautiful. The large and fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make meals at the house, feast in the dining room and then relax in the living room to continue with lively conversation. The hosts Jennie and Richard were very accommodating and friendly as was their dog Buddy. We loved our stay!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this sunset cliffs historic home. Close to Ocean beach and walking distance to the beautiful sunset cliffs hike down to the sea cave! The property is beautiful and well cared for in every aspect! We loved the historic touches and beautiful kitchen for family meals. And our children loved our morning visits from Buddy and the backyard for play! Peaceful location and the ocean views from the big bay windows were wonderful. Thank you Jennie for a great stay! Loved every part of our stay except there was construction going on right next door every day except Sunday. The construction workers had their radio going on some days and it was distracting when we were sitting outside. Other than that, a perfect vacation.

Everything was terrific, but my only comment is regarding the construction next door. Unfortunately, I did have to work during this trip at different points during the day, and the construction noise made it difficult.

Amazing stay!
This was the absolute best property. It had everything one could every need, beautifully well maintained and perfectly decorated. It has lots of space for larger groups. We were in town for a wedding and 2 mornings we fed over 30 people breakfast with plenty of space and a professional kitchen. I would highly recommend this property and we plan to return. Beautiful House, but FYI there's construction next door
We had a great week at this house. It's beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. I loved the neighborhood. But, we were surprised to find that the house next door is being rebuilt from the studs. It didn't cause much of a problem for us, but some of our family members wished they could have slept in on their vacation. That said, I would still rent this home again. It just would have been nice to have a heads up on the construction noise.

Wonderful house, location and hosts
This was the perfect place for 4 adults abd one 16 year old. Each br has a bath. Loved the location. Could see ocean from front porch, dining room and one br. Very well stocked kitchen. Met the hosts who were nice and helpful. Close to airport restaurants and easy access to interstates. Would highly recommend this Vrbo. Exceeded our expectations.
