My wife and I have been taking a family beach trip to St. George Island since my kids were toddlers. We have stayed many places on the island but “A. B. Sea” is my family’s favorite. Clean, short walk to beach, private setting, well stocked, service is very responsive.

Our extended family of 12 (adult children, grandkids and grandparents). All enjoyed this beautiful house and island. We all agreed that this was the best house and location that we had stayed in. The equal distance to the beach and bay was wonderful. We spent most evenings on the dock in the bay enjoying the different types of wildlife! We all had a wonderful time. Also the management company was wonderful to work with. We had a few issues and they quickly replied and fixed them. Thanks again!

Everything was as advertised and perfect. Easy walk to the beach and to the bay. This house has everything you need for a perfect stay at St. George. Absolutley no complaints from our whole crew.

Loved this house. Great beach and bay access. The pool was a hit for the kids and adults alike. House is well laid out with king beds throughout. Bunk room worked out great for kids. Elevator was very helpful for my elderly mother. Will definitely visit again!

The bay views are wonderful from the main living level and decks. And the short walk to the beach (seemingly due to a new rock pathway) was no problem. Plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of bedrooms with ensuite baths made it very comfortable. It also has a lot of privacy which is nice. The screened in pool was a plus, however a few of the screen panels needed repair.
The only negatives were an hour plus delay in getting in and it would have been nice to have some beach chairs and toys available. That said, I would definitely rent this property again and recommend it highly.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property on St. George Island.
The setting is very private and beautiful and the location is great - a short stroll on a boardwalk to a long dock on the bay that was perfect for fishing and kayaking. In the other direction, it's a short walk to the beach. Since the property is located within the plantation, the beach was not crowded at all. There is a bike/walking path that provides good opportunities to see birds and wildlife.
There is a heated pool at the house (we were there in early April and appreciated the heat) that is screened in and was enjoyed very much by the kids.
The house has plenty of space to accommodate a large family group and a nice view of the bay from the upper deck.
Everything is in place for an enjoyable vacation.

Very nice home. Elevator didn’t work when we arrived but was repaired within two days. Kids had a blast boogie boarding in the ocean. Would go back. Allison was very attentive to any issues.

The property was exactly as described. The pool is great, and the elevator is a blessing for moving suitcases and groceries to the third-floor living area.
We had two minor issues, but the host was super responsive and helpful. The paths to the beach and the bay were great, the island is lovely. All in all, a wonderful week for a family vacation!

We had a family reunion with four couples and associated kids (ages 14, 9, 4, 3). We all had a great time at Bay2Beach. The isolated beach was the best part. Very close (.15 miles along a dedicated path) and no crowds at all. After a day at the beach the covered pool kept out all unwanted pests and was great to finish up. The house itself was a great layout with a screened in porch and several other decks to enjoy our stay. The kids really enjoyed the five bunk beds in the same room (we did too) The dining table allowed seating for 10 people which was great for playing games in the evening. We will be looking forward to a return trip soon!

Our first time to St George and St George Plantation. The house was perfect for our family consisting of our three sons and their families. Loved the quiet and slower pace compared to Watercolor where we usually stay. Literally 3 1/2 minute walk to the beach and similar walk to the bay. We loved our stay and would come again.

The 3rd floor was perfect for our large family to spread out but still feel together. The beds were comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach.

This was our first trip to St. George Island! The Bay to Beach property was the perfect place for our family! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bedroom/bathroom. The open kitchen and large living rooms plus two tvs (to entertain little ones) were bonus areas. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to prepare a meal (including a keurig & coffee pot). The multi level decks were so nice to sit and enjoy the bay view. We loved the convenient outdoor shower when coming in off the beach. The walk to beach from property was short & easy to do with two small kids. The beach is beautiful, quiet and the perfect place to let kids roam all over. The property owners were kind enough to check on us several times during our stay to see if we needed anything. Couldn’t ask for a better place! We can’t wait to go again.

As parents, we loved the home with both beach and sound access. Our kids on the other hand would have preferred to be closer to thw spring break action. We didnt mind the peace and quiet. We enjoyed bike rides theough thr neighborhoods and serene beach walks. The home was great. We had 4 familes with numerous food allergies so we cooked dinners everynight rather than eating out. The kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs to cook meals. The pool was wonderful and we loved to listen to the waterfall both at pool side and on the deck. Great friends, great location and great weather!

This was hands down the BEST famy vacation location and home. Perfect location that felt like paradise! The house was cozy and clean, with every thoughtful touch from soft sheets to extra beach towels by the door. We cannot wait to return!!!

This house was perfect for what my family and I were looking for. We wanted a location close to the beach, a pool for the kids, and enough of a kitchen and bedrooms to house everyone. In the evening watching the sunset over the bay and fishing with the kids was an amazing memory we won’t forget! It was so perfect and we can’t thank the amazing host enough!

The Bay to Beach house was the perfect vacation spot for our family! The house was clean, and we loved that they provided beach towels and a few toiletries to get us through the first night! The house had more than enough room for our family to spread out, the kitchen was fully stocked for us to be able to cook, and the pool was an amazing place to relax! The bay and the beach were just a quick walk and easily manageable with a 2 year old and a baby.
We are definitely booking again for next year!

This home is beautiful. Absolutely the quietest vacation I have ever been on. Just a short walk to the beach. Literally a short walk to the pier on the bay. It is an awesome place to unwind. The pool is amazing. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Just make sure you stop and get groceries. It is a bit of a drive to get to the Piggly Wiggly

We had a really great time with all of our family, the house was the perfect size for our group of 9. We all had our own space with plenty of room to spread out! The pool was amazing, the dock/bay and the beach were all a very easy walk and we enjoyed all of it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Baytobeach offered just what my family needed! It was the perfect place for our family to call home for a week. It offered ease to get to both the ocean and to the bay. The home was very spacious, updated nicely and Mark was excellent to address any questions we had. 4 star on cleanliness was only because there were some caterpillars when we arrived that were throughout the home due to being vacant for renovations prior to our arrival, and Mark quickly addressed the issue and had pest control come right away! Excellent appreciation for his customers. Personally, I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a glimpse into paradise for your time away from home. This home offers the ocean, a pool and spaciousness to kick back and embrace the tranquility of the forgotten coast. ~Cindy

Entered the home to find none of the cleaning had been done and could not get a response from the property manager. I was contacted personally by the owner who was very apologetic and will make an effort to correct the situation. He offered to come down the next day to clean if he couldn’t find anyone else who could. We cleaned the home and washed all of the linens ourselves before sleeping on the first night.
The home was very nice and well stocked. The screened pool is a plus due to the mosquitoes.
Other than the first night, the home really added to our vacation.

House was nice but the fact that it wasn’t ready when property manager said it would be cleaned. Food left in fridge and pantry, beer and booze left. Beds were unmade, linen left in washers, there were bugs (caterpillars) all over the place. One of the toilets was clogged! Text the property manager about cleaning and he said guy had another house he had to clean and was on his way…1 guy to clean a 5 bedroom house and property manager suggested we should go out so he could clean….good thing we already had plans. Later that week, pool guy came out to clean pool and turned off filter and didn’t turn it back on, never came back to fix it.
I don’t usually give bad reviews but this needed to be said.

I liked the location and the house layout was nice. The upkeep was bad. Towel Bar broken, floors dirty, no light in the elevator , Had to re clean the house when we got there. But we would have done that anyways with COVID. But we did enjoy our stay. Also our names were not left at the gate. But no problem getting in.

We were in town for a family wedding and had multiple houses in the neighborhood. The “bay to beach” house was nicely designed and comfortable for the amount of people and bedrooms listed. Relaxing pool and short walk to the bay. The only unfortunate part was check in was at 4 pm, however the house was not cleaned until 8 pm on day of Check-in. Thankfully most of the family staying was arriving later but this would have posed an issue otherwise. I would certainly recommend and/or use this property again though.

The house is very nice but not worth dealing with all the issues and lack of response to take care of things. Never did meet the manager as he never came even though he said he would

The house was better then the pictures. Small things could have greatly improved our stay. All the bedrooms are in great need of new pillows. The kitchen could’ve been equipped a little better.
The elevator was working for us and was a great plus for me!
I rated four stars on the cleanliness because although house was clean it’s in need of a deep clean of the bathtubs and the water spicket coming out of the refrigerator.
All in all we enjoyed our stay!

We were looking for a place to accommodate three couples and three children, with an elevator. This was the perfect layout for our group. We also were trying to find a place that would not put us in danger from the Coronavirus and the private pool and uncrowded beach were just what we were looking for.
