This house was in a great neighborhood and location to the beach. We loved that we could stay in the neighborhood and walk to the beach in just a few minutes. Having a Beach wagon at the house for our use was very nice to have. Beach store and restaurants onsite were a plus as well! Would definitely rent from Tara again.

Overall, very satisfied with our stay at White Caps. Before our arrival, we weren’t quite sure how much use we would make of the backyard pool. During our stay, however, ocean riptides caused the beaches to be closed for two consecutive days. The pool ended up being a very welcomed and added bonus, especially for the youngest (and their parents) in our group.
We found the lack of a pantry And/or sizable cabinet in the kitchen to be an unwanted surprise. Although we made it work, we never felt like the kitchen was very organized or tidy during our entire week… Snack bags, breads, cases of water, etc., always out.
Tara, you are a five star host. Your communication during all aspects of our family vacation — from initial inquiry through our departure was excellent

We have been on other family vacations but this one was the best so far! The 5 kids loved the pool. The 6 adults loved the house and the location. The 2 sitting areas in the living room worked out great. The beach was a short walk. We have been to several places in Destin and Seaside but had never been to Carillon Beach. Tara was quick to get back to me when I had a question! We will definitely be back!

This is our third year in the house. The location of the home between the park and beach is ideal. It's perfectly setup for our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 boys) to each have our own space, with my parents taking the room on the main level. Tara is great host and always quick to respond with anything that might come up. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for extended family, including teens. It had everything we needed for meals and relaxing in and outside of the house. The pool was great for all ages and the house has amazing access to the beach and everything the neighborhood has to offer (pools, shops, sidewalks for walking).

White Caps Inn is exactly as described and an easy walk to the beach! We loved having the beach chairs and umbrellas. The layout of the house worked great for three couples and the grandchildren, who were happy they didn't have to share a room. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked every day, as well as using the gas grill. After a morning at the beach, we'd come back and swim in the private pool, and have evening swims. Plenty of seating in the yard and lots of pool and beach toys to use. We also enjoyed the large balcony off the master bedroom. There are so many great things about this house, it's hard to list them all from large dining table perfect for family game night, games, movies and books to use, large closets..it has everything you need and more.
So easy to work with Tara. She communicates everything you need from reservation to departure. You will feel at home as soon as you arrive. The beach community is well maintained and peaceful, very nice for walking. Easy drive to grocery stores and restaurants. By the end of the week, no one wanted to leave and we can't wait to go back!

This is our 2nd year we have stayed at this house and absolutely love it. It has such a nice floor plan and convenient to the Beach. Always clean and fully equipped for a wonderful fun filled week!! Thank you to Tara for awesome communication and to the owner who provides such a lovely home!

We can’t say enough great things about this property. We just returned home from spending a week there with our 2 grown children, their spouses, and 4 grands (ages 6-11). Our family has rented a beach house for about the last 10 summers. This one was everyone’s favorite. First of all, we loved the neighborhood and the fact that it is in a gated community - so quiet and peaceful. The home was so cozy and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the large front porch and the private balcony off of the master bedroom. The private pool was well maintained and large enough for all of us to enjoy. The walk to the beach was 3 minutes and we appreciated that we didn’t have to cross heavy traffic to get there. All the information we needed for our stay was delivered well in advance and Tara was wonderful to work with. Check-in was a breeze. White Caps Inn is just perfect!!

Our family spent 2 glorious weeks at White Caps Inn and loved every minute! We have been vacationing in Carillon for years and thoroughly enjoyed the White Caps Inn. We will definitely make our reservations again for next year. The house is close to beach, plenty of bedrooms and a great pool for relaxing in after the ocean! White Caps Inn is a great place to make some memories!

Everything about this house was as expected based on the online listing. It is a home vs a house. It is well stocked, clean and comfortable. The property manager, Tara, was a great communicator and helpful during the booking, pre- and post- stay. A gem in Carillon.

The Bedroom configurations are just right for our growing family. We loved having 3 king-sized beds for all of the adults and separate room for the young grandchildren ( ages 3 and 5). The kitchen is well equipped and we loved having the grill available. Extra beach equipment was handy and of course everyone loved having our own private pool.

We have been visiting 30A twice a year for 7+ years. We stayed at Carillon Beach back in 2015 and decided it would be the perfect quiet community for this year’s family beach trip with grandparents and great grandparents. White Caps was designed to accommodate multiple generations. My 90 year old grandparents had the main floor master and there were still two more kings on the second floor. The twin room was perfect for a couple uncles and the kids had the bunk room. The walk to the beach was quick and having 4 designated beach lounge chairs was very convenient. We didn’t have to drag as much stuff to the beach and we also didn’t have to deal with any crowds. It was the most gorgeous private beach we’ve ever experienced in the area. The location is ideal to grab groceries, visit an urgent care or check out the amazing gulf restaurants nearby. Close enough to 30A that we didn’t miss any of our favorite traditions yet far enough we had zero traffic! Win win.

Family Getaway
We had a combined family getaway with several small children. The house layout was great and had quite a few items at the house already there for the smaller children. The home had a gate, pack n play, plenty of beach toys. We really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely Wonderful
Our week at the White Caps Inn was a perfect week at the beach! The house is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes and pans. The floor plan is as advertised and the pool was in great condition (and much enjoyed). We are already making plans to book another week! I would definitely reccomend the White Caps Inn!

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!
Like poetry! White Caps Inn was such an incredible place to stay. With limited travel due to the pandemic, this place welcomed our family of 8 with open arms. Upon entering the gate into the community we knew we made the right choice on picking WCI as our retreat for the week. Once we entered the property we knew we found an absolute gem! The home is just beautiful and within walking proximity to the stunning white-sand beach. The home had everything we needed during our stay and far more than most vacation rentals we have visited in the past. The host had a gift bag waiting for us which was such a sweet gesture and a nice keepsake to bring home. The balconies jetting out on each level allowed for us to enjoy the outside without having to leave the property. We had the pool heated for the week which was so nice for the sweet kiddos to be able to swim in every evening we returned from the beach. Beautifully done! It has been a week and already can’t wait to get back here!
Some nice personal touches from the host related to local specialties. Communication from host was better than we’ve ever had!

Loved our recent, inaugural, stay at White Caps Inn and Carillon Beach. The home was so well equipped, extremely welcoming, lovely and lovingly decorated, and what turned out to be a great location for our family of seven, all adults and one 8 month old. White Caps Inn was an easy home to navigate from the first day, as all areas, switches, cabinets, etc. are clearly labeled. My daughter commented that it felt so comfortable it was as if we were visiting a friend’s home. From the beginning, our host, Tara, was extremely helpful, accessible, knowledgeable, and responsive. We enjoyed the pool (a cool March, so we paid extra for it to be heated), the extremely well stocked kitchen, and the front porch for sitting, sleeping, and sipping! Tara manages several homes in Carillon, and I would rent from her (anywhere!) again. Carillon Beach is very quiet and nicely located between Panama City beaches and those at 30A. The resort lacks many extra amenities, but we enjoyed the community pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, two small restaurants, general store/bike rental, and walkability of the neighborhood. Only wish it were closer to our home on NC, but clearly worth our drive.

Fantastic Stay!
We rented the house with 2 other families, who also had small children! This was the perfect location, with a short walk to the beach! There was plenty of room for all of us and our littles to eat, sleep and play! The property owner was wonderfully and was thoughtful enough to even leave us a sweet gift! So many wonderful memories wore made with our families and kids!
- The only confusion there was, was on the number of bunks. In case anyone else may be confused between the “bed pictures”. There is only 1 set of bunks (2 beds). This was not an issue for us at all, just want to specify for future rentals!

White Caps was great
We stayed for a week in between Christmas and New Years. The house was a block from the beach walkover and had lots of pool/beach accessories including a wagon. We paid for the pool to be heated which was a real plus; there were a few issues with it but Tera responded immediately and worked to get it resolved. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishes in general - with everything labeled. The bedrooms were spacious as were the living room spaces. This was a great house to rent for our family. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice house overall with a pool in Carillon
House was clean for a rental; however, needs deep cleaning, touch-ups, paint, minor repairs overdue (toilet, outside hose leaks like crazy which is needed to add water to a pool that needs more water to kick on the heat). Heating fee for pool is excessive. Fixed doors myself as they were needing TLC with screws coming out. Great location within community! Nice paint color choices for the recent renovation!

Wonderful Week
We loved our week at Carillon. This was our second stay at White caps Inn and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful property with lots of room to spread out and relax. We have been gathering at Carillon Beach for several years and renting various properties within. We feel Carillon is a home away from home. We try to come as a couple in the Spring and then with our grown kids who do not live near us in the late summer. I believe this is our 10th year renting in Carillon and White Caps Inn is a favorite with the pool and is such a beautiful home. It is so well stocked and maintained. Tara is wonderful to work with and helped us tremendously this stay in helping us to navigate a last minute unexpected change to our trip. It was a truly refreshing visit for our family. Four of us work in healthcare from doctors to nurses and with Covid stresses it was a much needed break. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and home.

The perfect family beach house
We had an amazing week at White Caps. We had 9 people in our group (age 5-68) and we loved everything about the house and private pool! We cooked quite a bit (from bratwurst and hotdogs to filets) and had every kitchen item we needed! The walk to and from the beach access was very easy for even our youngest family member. The private pool was in great condition and much appreciated. We’ve already booked another week there in 2022!

We have a family of 7 and brought my parents and sister along for the trip, their first time to Carillon. Everyone had a great time and loved it, already want to come back! The kids swam in the pool everyday, everyone had a comfortable sleep every night. Plenty of pillows and blankets and anything we could have needed during the trip! Tara was a fabulous host and answered all my questions. We will definitely stay here or at another one of her properties again!!

We had a great stay! The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It was spacious enough for our two families. We thought our bed/pillows could be more comfortable (upstairs master bedroom) and the kids were disappointed that the pool heater was locked. So we didn’t use the pool as much as we would have liked to. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs. We love Carillon Beach!

Great Getaway
Going back to White Caps Inn is like returning back home. This year especially the trip provided a great “safe” getaway. The owner is top notch in her communication. We have been vacationing at Carillon Beach, and White Caps has become our favorite rental. Look forward to returning.
