Our 3rd time staying here. When the pandemic started, we decided to stay local, in state and not travel too far. We really lucked out with VRBO and Steve's lovely home. It is everything we could want and more. Beautiful home, gorgeous and quiet setting, on the water, modern home with hiking and kayaking all right there. Our favorite Belgian pub, Ebenezer's, is less than 5 min away, so we love that too. We love that our dog feels so comfortable here too, and he went into a lake (THIS lake, Kezar), for the first time in his 10 years, last Sept. Hopefully, we will be able to book again for 2023. Sept in Maine is awesome, despite a VERY rare hurricane went up to Canada yesterday....we got lucky and were barely affected by it. Steve the owner is great at communicating and gets right back to you if you have any questions. You won't regret renting this home for a nice vacation!

Great rental, definitely recommend and would use again! We all had a great time - clean, modern, lots of room inside and outside, several amenities, nice grounds and view/access to the lake. Owner was very flexible, easy to work with, and very responsive. The write up doesn’t do it justice.

The photos for this listing are good but don’t do full justice to this perfect Kezar lake rental. The beautiful place is spacious with a good setup of 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. There is also one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs and all the towels and toilet paper you’d ever need. All you have to do is bring shampoo toiletries. The kitchen is also great because you can prep food in there while still feeling like you are hanging out with people in the living room which has a gorgeous lake view. You feel like you are hanging out on the lake even when inside. The kitchen had a good array of cooking utensils, just bring your lobsters and any staple items like oil or sugar etc and feast away! There was a small delicious bag of coffee left by the coffee machine too which was a nice touch. As for the waterfront area it’s perfect. The dock was big and there was a great yard area to hang out in with a fire pit. The view of the stars was spectacular when we stayed in August. The water is clear in this spot so you can jump right in and swim to the floating dock. We brought our kayak and it is only a 30-40 minute paddle to Sucker Brook. A perfect place run efficiently by Steve who was communicative and easy to coordinate with. Hope to come back next summer!

We loved the layout of the house and easy access to the lake. The lake was beautiful. We rented a boat for 4 days at the marina around the corner and enjoyed tubing and boating. Having the adults sleep downstairs and the kids upstairs was great. The air conditioners in the bedrooms and the living room were very important to us at night. The house had everything we needed/wanted including a bbq and fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to next year. We ate out at Ebenezer’s one night and had take out pizza from the Loon’s nest one night- both were great and only a short drive.

Family favorite. Many years of memories , can't wait to get back next year.

I have been going to Maine for many years this by far was the best. What made this stay amazing was the fantastic accommodations and location. This home was set up so beautifully, it was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. We never left. My dog had the greatest time swimming all day w/o any worries. I can keep going on about how wonderful this home was and the air conditioning was well appreciated during the 97 degree temps. I am sure we will be back next year. Great family vacation.

We had a total of 7 ranging from 10 to 53 , and I can honestly say we all enjoyed our stay ! The house is private and super clean , the fishing and swimming off the dock was absolutely perfect for the kids ( many fish caught) the fishing out on the lake was great as well !!

This property was the perfect location for our family vacation. The layout of the house was as advertised and suited our needs extremely well. The kitchen had everything that we needed and was very spacious to work in while making memorable camp meals. The owner Steve was at the property at check-in and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He actually took the time to show me some good fishing spots. Thank you! We found this camp to be a beautiful, peaceful getaway! We are a family of four, plus had grandparents and then a friend visit during the week - the camp had plenty of room that we never felt like we were on top of each other. It had everything you need, including TV and internet, but still felt like a camp. Kezar Lake is extremely peaceful and the camp is in the no wake zone of the lake, so it was even more quiet and relaxed. My sons jumped off the dock a million times over the week and absolutely loved it. The lakefront isn't sandy and has lots of plant life, so younger kids will need lifejackets/swimmies to get into the water off the dock instead of walking into the lake. The swimming is definitely only in the deeper water, but amazing for older kids and adults. We also brought our SUPs and it was a perfect lake to explore. Easy drive to North Conway for shopping or Storyland. A beautiful part of Maine to explore! We would definitely like to rent again! :)

Very nice vireo and location

Year 5 renting this property from Steve, year 12 renting on Kezar Lake and every year is as amazing and fun as the last. Myself and 7 buddies stay at Kezar every Spring for a week…we fish, eat, drink and laugh all week long and this house has been the perfect spot to do it. The owner is great and always available, as is the property manager Tabitha. Would highly recommend this area to vacation at, as well as this property.

We had a wonderful time staying at the property in October. The location was great, surrounded by great scenery and an easy place to leave from to explore in all directions. Property owner is very responsive if you should have questions in my experience. Thank you!

Steve's place was the absolutely perfect September getaway for our family. We spent our days relaxing on the porch and spacious dock and exploring some hiking nearby (there is a nice lillte hiking trail right around the corner from the house). The WiFi was great, very fast, which was nice as some of our group was working remotely. The burners on the stove were a bit uneven and tricky to cook on at times, but the kitchen had a great layout and was very well stocked (hand mixer, blender, milk frother, kettle, pots and pans, bottle opener, can opener, whisk etc.). There is a cute general store about a 5 minute drive away that has a good amount of basics. If we had any questions at any time, Steve was very quick to respond and was very helpful. There are lots of kayak rental companies in the area, but note that many are closed after labor day. Overall, it was a fantastic trip!

This is one of the better experiences I’ve had with VRBO’s!! The setting is AMAZING, peaceful and beautiful!! We were able to get our fill of the beautiful trees of Maine! Steve, the property owner was incredibly responsive to any and all questions and communication we had! Very good experience!! I would recommend this property!

We had a great time at Kezar Lake at this property. Very quiet and clean and checkin was super easy. Close to a great golf course and Ebeneezers Pub! Only issues we had was the check-out time was different between the guest book and the listing online. Luckily we were all ready for when the cleaning crew showed up at the earlier time. The property also has you wash all the sheets and towels before you leave which is a little odd. We ran out of time in the morning. Other than that we had an excellent stay and would recommend!

We stayed last year & this year, same week in Sept. Weather was great, in the 70s & the lake was still warm enough to get in. (A bit warmer this year actually). The house is spacious & clean & has everything you need. The layout is great with 2 huge bedrooms on the first level. This year we took a friend & our dog. Another friend came by for 2 nights. Plenty of room. Our friend who stayed in the room upstairs loved his view & used the big soaker tub also. We brought kakaks & had a nice time on the quiet, beautiful lake. We actually used the firepit 2 nights. It was very pleasant. The grill was great to use & we also went to local Ebenezer's Pub for some amazing Belgian beer & superb food! We are remote challenged, but figured out Netflix, (with the helpful info book), which was perfect! The gas fireplace is great on cool evenings! Steve, the owner, is easy to email & responds quickly. He decided to not sell this pretty house & we are happy for that! We hope to book again for next September!

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed in Steve’s amazing house and it was perfect as usual! The house gives enough space for everyone to be together but not over cramped. It’s the perfect home to stay in if you are looking for time to disconnect and just be present with friends and family. We are looking forward to our stay next year!

My family enjoyed a wonderful October vacation at this comfortable house, complete with a dock for our canoe and kayaks and a lovely deck for meals and a gorgeous view of the water surrounded by fall foliage colors. The owner was polite and accommodating.

only problem was NO cell phone reception . I have 2 different carriers . If you have an emergency you are out of luck. Everything else was wonderful

Spacious and warm lake house in a great location in Lovell. Close to the marina and the golf course.

We had a great time. The house is very comfortable and spacious. We rented kayaks for the week and took them out daily. Kezar is a Great Lake to kayak. One day we rented a boat from the nearby marina and hades great time tubing. Another day we golfed.

Peaceful, comfortable and beautiful. House is great. Dock is great.

Beautiful Lake Kezar, perfect weather, great accommodations. We have stayed many times and hope for many more.

Great deck, and overall nice stay. Well-stocked on linens and towels, good Wi-fi, close to the Marina, great game table and lovely to be in walking distance of a nice land trust trail. A few things I wish I had been told or known: 1) There is a very limited supply of pots and pans. You will want to bring your own if you plan on any stovetop cooking. 2) There is a neighbor who shoots off a canon (100 decibels) every day at 4, 5 and 6 pm, sometimes with blasted music. Scares the daylights out of everyone when it was a quiet environment otherwise. 3) The floating dock is not that deep, be wary on diving off 4) No Apple TV as mentioned, but they have a Roku with limited services 5) The tenters mentioned in several reviews were a little shady
