Driving time to Yosemite. Kitchen would benefit from an update but everything functioned. Be aware: do not follow satnav advice to travel via Ward’s ferry road( not faster and very dangerous!) Just follow the highways to and from Yosemite.

The deck was a great feature. The house is very cozy and the host was nice and accommodating.

The driveway is very steep but manageable.

It was nice and clean! Perfect spot for our group and our little dog. It is about 5 minutes away from black oak and 20 to 30 to Colombia and Pinecrest.

Great place that feels like a home away from home in the foot hills! The property was clean and had all needed necessities. Convenience shops, hiking trails, and the Casino are all nearby. I will totally book again :)

Perfect size for our family and 4 large dogs. Neighborhood pool was a 5 minute walk away and very clean. Pleasantly surprised with all of the games, movies and TV selections.

I just loved this place. I’m not going to lie is a little far but it is worth it. The house was clean and had everything l needed. It’s quiet and all you see is trees which l love. I’m definitely coming back here.

The owner was very responsive and attentive to our questions and needs. He allowed us to stay longer on our last day then the original check out at 11. The house had everything we needed! Full kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Walking distance to community pool was a treat to go to after a long warm day of hiking Yosemite!

The owner never once apologized for the fact that I showed up to a filthy mess. Not the fact that after the "housekeeper" left, I spent 3hrs cleaning & it still was not 100% clean. Instead he asked that I not leave a bad review, because he "needs the rental monies for his sons glaucoma surgery & medications". I merely asked for a refund of my cleaning fee, and was ignored. The owner watches & listens to your conversations via the Ring Doorbell app. (The light turns white when recording or someone is watching, and blue when someone is actively listening to you via the mic) Also appreciated the visitor(s) that came into the house while we were away. The moved some of our belongings around, but didn't appear to take anything. I only spent 3hrs of my vacation, cleaning. Still much to be done, but at least all the dishes were clean when I left (with exception of top shelves). I even wiped out all drawers & shelves before putting things back away. I also cleaned the freezer & washed the mugs in the freezer door.

1. I showed up at 5:45pm & the keypad didn't work. Had to use lock box. House still dirty from previous guest & owner stated thwart I had said On wasn't going to be there until 6pm. 2. The house was FILTHY, even after the "housekeeper" finally came & "cleaned". There were cobwebs along ceiling in bedrooms, ants crawling on the bed & around AC window unit & in the bathroom. Dishes in cabinets were dirty (food & oil on flatware & pans). Freezer, top of fridge & stovetop were dirty. (Burnt food under burners) There was still dirt, trash and a hunk of broken glass in the kitchen floor. The cabinets were filthy, inside & out Bathroom counter and toilet tank & lid had not been wiped. The shower curtain had dirt & I'm not sure what, all down the right side. 3. There are a LOT of SPIDERS in & around this house. Couldn't sit comfortably on patio, especially in the evening. Too many spiders. 4. Owner is dismissive. Previous guest left a partially smoked cigarette in the bedroom on the AC unit & the house smelled of cigarette. Steven told me to turn on the small air purifier in the living room. 5. No air conditioning in main portion of the house. One small, very dirty fan in the living room. 2 small window units in bedrooms. They DO NOT cool the entire house. 7. No batteries in TV remote & only 1 small TV in the living room. No bedroom TVs. 8. No hand soap is provided. Be sure to bring your own. 9. The dryer venting needs a thorough cleaning. It takes a long time to dry clothing. 10. Main bedroom mattress is terribly stained. 2nd bedroom mattress is "well used' and has a dip in it. 11. Pet hair on linens & along backsplash in kitchen. My stuffy nose & itchy swollen eyes, along with the "Cat Owner" magnet on fridge leads me to believe it's cat hair. 12. Extremely steep driveway, tricky to maneuver. No other parking. 13.

Very comfortable, no one bothered us at all.

Location was misleading not close to Yosemite 2 1/2 hours away for the price the stove half worked no sponges paper towels or toilet paper the basics and no blankets only the decor on the bed which everyone probably uses the bathroom sink very slow to drain not a good value for the location very disappointing

Great getaway location not to far from town and not to close to anyone else

My family and I took a little vacation here to get away and enjoy the outdoors and see some snow. The kids loved the place, plenty of room and it was nice and clean. They have everything you need, from dishes to towels and even provided a blow up mattress. Will be booking again!

Nothing particularly about the property, but please beware you may not get reception in this area! But the property provides you with excellent WiFi so that’s great!

It was nice and clean and the beds were really comfortable

The pictures made it seem like the pool was in the backyard and the description made it same like Yosemite was a walks away when neither of those were true
