Nada mas llegar Leonor es lo que más te gusta, por su trato y amabilidad, y apenas empiezas a ver la casa, lo bien cuidada que está y que no le falta ni el más mínimo detalle para sentirte como en la tuya propia….. La situación de la casa es perfecta, la chimenea, barbacoa, sus terrazas….en fin todo! Es una casa para repetir siempre…muchas gracias por todo Leonor!

A lovely comfortable house with stunning views

We didn't know there is a steep hill to the property. This should be mentioned in the description. The property is only a short distance from town, but we had to use taxis 4 times per day as one of our party has limited mobility and found the hill too steep. We expected 3 bathrooms, as advertised, but we found that one of the bathrooms is just a wc. We were advised when booking of the damage deposit of 200 euros. Shortly before arrival we were told this had increased to 250 euros. Not a major issue as we fortunately had the extra money between us and we got the deposit back on departure. But guests should be notified of any changes like this in advance so they can be properly prepared.

This place has everything, it was spotless clean and the host, sra Leonor, is so nice and attentive! Two issues popped up during our stay (nothing that she could have prevented) and she fixed/informed us asap). We were a bit late for checkout (two kids under 4 were a challenge ;-)) but she was patient and sweet. Only thing is that she doesn't speak a word of English so be prepared for that. Would absolutely come back! Given how spacious it was you could even stay here with two families with multiples kids.

The pool was not in use in winter time (January)

We were a group of 5 people staying in Leonor property. It was a very enjoyable staying. The house features 2 bathrooms and extra toilet downstairs which gave us the opportunity to get ready quickly to go and visit around the city. There’s a road to park the car. We spent time at home as well as we could use the chimney outside and have bbq all together. Living room was very comfy and kitchen fully equipped for cooking. Washing machine and mostly the dryer were a plus. We definitely recommend to stay in her place and we will visit again Almuñécar and of course we would love to rent it again and again!
