Great quiet location to spend time with family. Loved the pool area. Loved the heated pool. Our son gained more confidence with swimming. He went from sitting only on the step to swimming across the pool with a pool noodle. He called it our house with the pool. Great quick location to get to the beaches and to area restaurants. Would definitely stay again

We wanted to just get away for a week, visit some friends in the area and relax. Artur's home away from home was perfect! Once we arrived and ordered groceries we literally were in need of nothing else. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for cooking a huge dinner or just making a sandwich, the pool area has plenty of seating with a large, well kept pool, directions for the South Venice Beach Ferry are clear and concise and instructions for check in and check out were detailed and easy. The neighborhood is SO quiet. We spent most days never leaving the house. Everything we needed was there. We do not have children, but if you do this house is ideal layout. The master is on the opposite side of home from other 2 bedrooms, there are 2 sitting rooms and children could really enjoy their time in their living room while parents also could get a little peace and quiet easily. Home is conveniently located near the town of Venice, and I can't imagine needing something and not being able to acquire it quickly. Artur made us feel welcome and was available for any and all questions while simultaneously not invading anyprivacy.

Good location, close to key beaches and shopping. Lots of little lizards running around, definitely the Florida experience. Only thing is the pool area was a little messy, but we swept up the debris and had a good time.

This home's pictures do not do the place justice. It has a nice open floorplan, heated pool, and plenty of space to enjoy around the pool. Off location is the nearby beaches, close enough to Sarasota it can be made a day trip. The owner is also transparent on expectations of use of their property, quick to respond to any questions you may have. I would stay again on this property.

We loved the pool at this rental house. It was perfect for kids, and having a fenced in backyard is nice for pets. The South Venice beach ferry was AWESOME, and we loved having our own beach! The house, itself, shows it’s age and has a strange layout. We found the kitchen very sticky, and did not find towels until halfway through our trip (they were clean, but in the dryer.). We did lose electricity for a few hours during a storm, but that is no fault of the owners. Prior to the trip, I had difficulty connecting with the property owners, but was able to get into contact with them just before the trip.

We booked this house for 9 days over the fourth of July this year. There was plenty of room for my family of 6 plus our dogs. The pool area was really nice, we spent most of our time out there. We only ate out twice during our stay so it was realy nice having a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you could need including casserole dishes, big pots, pans, coffee mugs, shot glasses, toaster, microwave, etc... We enjoyed being right around the corner from the beach ferry and only a short drive to the grocery store. The air conditioning works GREAT in this house! We were very comfortable and the fans in every room was a nice touch! The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe during our stay. There are plenty of clean linens & towels & the house itself was very clean. No dust bunnies or random hair anywhere in sight! There is a doggie door in the pool area that leads to a fenced area for the dogs to play and do their business. On the other side their is antoher door that leads to a non fenced area perfect for grilling & checking out the creek that runs along the back of the property. The garage is HUGE and ws perfect for housing our golf cart and our Harley. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice place to stay without breaking the bank. Would definitely stay here again!

It was very easy to make reservations. The owner was always accessible. It was close to the beaches. The house was bigger than we needed, probably perfect for a big group. We just wanted a quiet private getaway for our anniversary. Quiet neighborhood.

We had a last minute change of plans and needed to find a rental quickly while on vacation in Venice. Artur was very responsive and accommodating with our request. He was also very responsive to our questions throughout our stay. Overall a good experience.

the house is fine but the pool area and the pool is not what you see in the picture needs more cleaning and better maintenance.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was pretty much as listed online. Arthur was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had before, during and after our stay. We would definitely rent again.

This private home is located in a quiet neighborhood in South Venice. It's only about 5 minutes from a public beach with free parking and only about 3 minutes from the South Venice Ferry which will take you over to a very secluded beach. The house comes with a ferry pass for up to 6 people. Make sure to look for shark teeth during your visit! The house is located on a dead end street backing up to green space, so there is almost no traffic. It made it nice for the kids to ride their scooters without much worry. The property backs directly up to a canal with plenty of privacy trees. My older boys tried fishing in it, but were unsuccessful. The neighbors were very quiet and we hardly noticed them. Having a private pool was a must and the fact that it has a caged enclosure was a bonus. It kept most of the bugs away! The pool deck could have used some attention and good pressure wash, but we didn't notice it much. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (which have direct access to the pool deck so you don't have to walk through the house wet to use the restroom), 2 living rooms (which allowed us to spread out-with 2 teenagers, it gave space for them to veg on their devices when needed), nice size, well-equipped kitchen and large dining room with a table large enough for our family of 6. Artur's check-in/out email was very informative. Our only complaint was upon arrival at 4pm, we discovered the house had not been cleaned and the trash hadn't been taken out. Artur was very responsive and was able to get someone out there that evening. He said due to a scheduling error with the cleaning company had mixed up the day. Since our stay was during a pandemic, we had not planned on eating out, but ended up having to go out for dinner. Sharky's on the Pier was a great beachfront restaurant where we were able to eat and kill some time walking the beach and going out onto the pier. Since we were trying limit our family's exposure, we mostly drove around. Venice is mostly a quiet town with more activity right along the streets closest to the beach. We were finally able to check-in around 9:30pm. Unfortunately, our kids were falling asleep by that time and didn't really get to enjoy the pool our first evening there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a nice change of scenery from quarantine. We would definitely stay again.

The location and price couldnt be beat for what we needed. However almost ALL of the furniture is damaged, ripped or very old. Which is fine until the couch faux leather comes off when you touch it. I had to cover the seats by the pool with towels because they were dirty/stained. Most blinds are broken throughout the home and there are no curtains on every window. Definitely outdated but the pool itself was great and it was super close to beautiful beaches

The house is back in a neighborhood but only minutes from everything you need. Lots of options for beaches, grocery, restaurants all less than a 10 minute drive. The house is older but well maintained. Pool was great. Everything you need to cook, grill, head to the beach or relax at the pool was included. I feel it was a good value compared to other listings we were considering. I wish we could have stayed longer!

If you are looking for brand new place to stay then this is not the place for you. If you want quiet ( very) surrondings with all the amenities then this is the place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home was clean when we arrived, and the basics were available for use. Which is helpful when all you want to do is relax for the first few days. We brought our dogs with us and they loved it just as much! The house is spacious for the Venice area! We never ate at the dining table, but outside by the pool. The grill provided worked fantastic and we used it almost every night. We did have a minor issue with the pool which Artur took care of right away. The pool heats for no extra charge! One day we were able to take advantage of the ferry to the beach and wished we had enough time to do it again. Best things to do in Venice: Manasota Key Beach, Ferry to beach, Brohard Paw Park beach (if you have dogs), Caspersen beach…see the theme here? The Manasota Key Beach is an 8 minute drive away and you can catch the sunset every night! The one restaurant I could recommend would be Snook Haven. We went back for lunch twice. There is so many positives about renting this house the only negative would be the cable situation. No ESPN to watch football. Fortunately, you can use your cable info to sign into the ESPN app on Roku. Artur is great and was quick to respond to us. Thanks for letting us stay! We will be back!
