Made us move, two nights into our five night stay because they needed to clean the room. In the new room we moved into, someone was literally still cement plastering the wall of one of the bunk beds. The paint fumes from one of the bathroom construction also seeped into our room on the last night.

Everything isn’t enough to explain anything. Really very nice place. Very very friendly stuff . Very community place. Option to rent motor bike with good price. Location is super amazing.

Nice staff. Free drinking water. Shared kitchen was good. Privacy curtains in the dorms. Air-con was fine, just the usual squabble over the temperature with dorm-mates. Bathroom was clean (cold showers only). There's a useful drying area out the back for hanging wet clothes. Hostel can arrange van pick-up from the airport for a fee. They can also arrange scooter rentals if available. Upper floor lounge area is cosy and good for socialising. Location is near some small eateries and small shops, but very easy to find a tricycle to take you to town or elsewhere for 30pesos per person. Laundromat within walking distance. Wifi was OK.

Lack of floor space in the dorm room so it was a bit messy with everyone's large rucksacks scattered about. They have a bar on-site, so if you bring your own drinks to the hostel you will be charged a corkage fee.

Really nice social space with pool table, games, table tennis, and couch. They host activities on some nights in a friendly environment. They have a kitchen and a laundry area which is a big plus! Facility is clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff is very nice. Jovan is very friendly, he does playful banter while keeping professional.

Location is in a side street that gets dark at night. There’s also lack in security facilities or simple lighting in garage. Wifi does not reach rooms.

The location is not on the center but you can manage to rent a motorbike with them and be in the center in 7min.

The hostel itself is nice but the people who stay there should learn what respect is; during the night was very hard to sleep because of rude peoples just shouting in the dorm and keep closing and opening the door even at 3/4am in the morning. So keep in mind that it’s not a chill hostel and if you have light sleep you’ll find quite hard to spleen here. The AC in the dorm is very strong, I slept all the day with socks and a jacket. In the shower you don’t have a lot of space for your dry cloth.

Staff is lovely. Always trying to help. The common areas are beautiful to socialise. Games and really nice vibes. Is the hostel I stay more in my trips! Two weeks! All clean always. Thank you guys !

My stay with sunlit was beyond what i could have expected. The staff were just incredible in attending your needs and answering any queries. The area is quite far from the busy area but I would not want it any other way. A great escape after a night of drinks and partying with new friends. I extended 1 more day which was totally unplanned! I'll stay in this hostel soon if given the chance.

Other checked-in guests could maybe tone down a bit with the noise coming from the outisde going in to the premises but it's just tolerable.

The staff is incredible, Berna & Jovan can help you out with anything you need! The vibe in the hostel is super relaxed, they organize activities and it is located perfectly! Easy to meet other travelers (:
