Lake house was as advertised, you can’t beat the view. All the toys if you want to have fun on the lake.
The house is on a dead end street so it was very quiet and peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully situated on Laurel Lake. Boats, paddles, and life jackets were provided, so we spent time on the water.
The house is clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the screened-in porch overlooking the water, where we ate all our meals. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of counter space. Lastly, a king size bed was an added luxury.
If you are from warmer climes, be aware that there is no central heat. However, the gas fireplace heats up the living room quickly. There are also space heaters.

Wonderful private cabin on picturesque lake. Brought back fond memories of stays in the boundary waters of Minnesota during my you. Canadian geese chorusing in the background. Winds scratching at the surface of the waters. Colorful trees announcing autumn's advent.
Host was wonderful and helpful. Would recommend highly to anyone for the beauty of Lenox in the fall.

The cottage on the lake was cozy and comfortable. The fire place in the living room was perfect to heat up the cottage. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was an abundance of towels. The washer and dryer was great since we didn’t pack much and halfway through the trip was able to use the washer/dryer. The location of the cottage was perfect to see many of the sights and trails in the Berkshires. The lake was beautiful as the trees changed into the fall foliage. I can see why families would love this place in the summer to use canoes and to swim in the lake. The owner Mike was very assessable and answered all our questions. Plenty of restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

We were in Lenox to attend a wedding and stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Owner Mike graciously accommodated our request for an early check-in, and the cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The views of the lake are beautiful, and (once the weather improved) we were able to take the kayaks out for a paddle. It was great to have a full kitchen available, and the gas fireplace kept us cozy despite the cooler outdoor temps. Hope to get back up to Lenox during the summer, and would definitely stay here! Location is so convenient to downtown Lenox and Lee -- and (per the recommendation tacked on the cabin bulletin board) to the best ice cream ever at High Lawn Farm!

This is a lovely cabin directly in the lake. The weather was cool and rainy so we did not go on the lake but we were able to enjoy it in the large screened in porch. The gas fireplace kept us cozy inside. Great location close the The Mount, Lenox and the Norman Rockwell museum and studio.

We love our quiet and peaceful time on the lake. The cabin was just the right for the four of us. Sitting by the shore or in the screened porch was lovely. Our favorite was kayaking the lake when the water was calm and like glass in the morning. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the close proximity to town and Shakespeare and Company. Our daughter was performing there and the 5 minute drive was easy and so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully take in the beauty of lake Laurel again. Thank you for such a great gift of this wonderful place! The Martins

Wonderful rustic summer cottage. We are four adults who sang at Tanglewood with Berkshire Chorus International. The property is in a great location for our needs. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The propane fireplace is helpful for chilly mornings. We used kayaks and enjoyed the lake scenery.

This cottage is perfect for a relaxing time away from home. The kitchen is well stocked, living room quite comfortable with a gas fireplace. The very best thing is the screened in porch. Sitting and watching the kayakers, geese and a variety of birds. Lovely gardens. We will be returning!

The cottage was well-stocked, with everything needed for a great stay. The location is perfect—secluded enough to offer quiet and pure relaxation, but easy to get around to all spots in the Berkshires. The clear, calm water was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Ultimate Lake Get-away
I stayed in this beautiful lake house on my 65th birthday during May 2022. Not a fancy place, but practical and well thought out. The place has a cosy, lived in feel. I can only echo all the other ecstatic reviews. Water was clear and warmer than the breeze. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and grilling. Well supplied house with comfortable beds. Only downside was having to leave. We tried to extend but others had booked already and the place needed to be cleaned in-between guests. Excellent location and a very positive vibe await you. My only suggestion is to provide sort of setup to enjoy a fire 🔥 outside. One of our favorite parts was the electric fireplace. Turn it on and get mesmerized in a cozy, warm ambience. Lakeside cottage
Fantastic location right on the lake with kayaks and a canoe. The large screened porch was great, and the kitchen/house was clean and well equipped. The cottage was quite small. Great for a couple and some small kids. Only issue was that the primary bedroom and bathroom were quite musty smelling, no doubt due to proximity to the water.

This cottage was great! The screened porch, yard, and private beach on the lake were tranquil and perfect for spending a relaxing time with our family. It was very clean and had everything we needed for grilling and playing in the sand and kayaking. Would definitely rent again!

Lovely cottage
This is the 2nd year we’ve rented this cottage and although the weather wasn’t great this time, we still really enjoyed this cottage and the space. Having a small beach area for our young kids is awesome! Mike is very responsive and a great host!

A little piece of lakeside heaven
This property was everything my fiancé and I wanted when we looked for a short lakefront getaway. We even hit the jackpot when we found this property has a private lakefront access! We spent each morning in the sunroom listening to all of birds, it was so nice to hear all the chirping. The peacefulness of kayaking and canoeing on the lake, the convenience of the property's distance to the town, and the scenery when we used the grill was everything we wanted. The neighbors were super friendly as well. Our only small issue was the bed was on the softer side, which I did not mind but my fiancé likes firmer beds. Otherwise, everything was what we wanted. This is a perfect place for those who want a relaxing getaway with direct access to a quiet and private lake.

Lovely late fall stay
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend away at Mike's place in Lenox during the last weekend of October. Incredible setting plus a short drive to town was just what we wanted. Great spot for a getaway!
This cabin had everything we needed for a week get away! Secluded and beautiful lake view and so close to great hiking! We mostly did take out and brought food back and ate on the screened in porch which was great! When it got chilly we flipped on the gas stove! Did many great nearby hikes and went out on the lake for a few trips in the canoe/kayaks. The cabin had everything we could need and was in a nice quiet spot yet only 8 min from town! Thanks!!

We had a great time. The cottage was immaculate, well equipped and cozy...especially with the gas insert fireplace in the cool evenings. The lake was soo beautiful. It was nice to have the kayak handy to paddle around in! Thinking of returning during the summer months sometime!

Summer Vacation
We had a great time on Laurel Lake. The house was perfect for our needs. Our girls, ages 9 and 4 loved the lake and so did we! We didn’t need to bring sheets, towels or sand toys/floaties - so easy. Highly recommend staying here! Gorgeous location! Easy access to downtown Lenox and Lee for groceries and restaurants. We will be back 😊�

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the very well stocked and clean house, to the beautiful lake to the fact that the owner was available for questions and concerns we had while planning during the Pandemic. I would highly recommend the house except I don't want too much competition so we can visit again!

Beautiful lakeside cottage
We had a wonderful week at the Lakeside Cottage... There’s a clean area for swimming and a great dock for the kids to jump in! The lake itself is gorgeous and perfect for kayaking and fishing! The only suggesting we would have would be to upgrade the air conditioners in the bedrooms so they were a little less noisy ... Other than that it was a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave!

Perfect for our young kids
The cottage is well described on the listing - we got exactly what we expected. It's well equipped with everything you need on the beach - toys and trucks to play in the sand, life jackets, floaties, fishing gear, and more. We really enjoyed the stay and loved that the lake is so close to the house - our baby monitor easily reached so we could enjoy the lake while he slept! Our 3 1/2 year old also loved her first fishing experience - the pan fish are in abundance (but we also caught bass, crappie, perch, and a trout!)! Mike was very responsive to any needs we had, and the neighbors were all very friendly. Thanks for a great escape from COVID-land!

Perfect week away
We enjoyed our stay in Lenox and this was the ideal spot. We were close to everything, although most days we just enjoyed our time at the cottage. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you could think of for fun outside fishing poles, tubes, life jackets of all sizes, kayaks and a canoe! Our son enjoyed his first kayak ride around the lake and loved splashing in the water on hot days. We loved the swing on the sun porch and spent a lot of evenings relaxing out there. We will be back in the future.
