We stayed here in September of 2024. Note there was no A/C, but with all the windows open it never got too hot to complain about, and at night it was super chilly. This property has had a lot of work done to it to make it the perfect entertainment home. We were getting married at sand harbor up the east side of the lake and this house was the perfect stay for getting ready with breathtaking views and architecture. Huge kitchen for those who like to cook, and the bar and pool table made for a fun night of games. The outdoor deck was perfect for hanging out and star gazing. The jacuzzi could use an update as the jets didn’t really work and seemed to be an outdated model, but it was hot and still made for a good time. The indoor pool was a plus!
Highly recommend this house for a small to medium family gathering! We may return for snow adventures on day!

We picked this beautiful home for our family vacation this past August. Between our elderly parents, a nine year old, a few pre teens, a newborn and several adults, it was a full house. And this little oasis had something for everyone and kept us entertained the entire trip. We took advantage of the indoor pool, the little putting green outside and the horseshoe toss and my husband unearthed the corn hole game set. We had such a good time. The main living room was where we gathered everyday and was the center hub. We cooked most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was amazing! It had everything we needed and more! All of the bedrooms were nicely decorated and most had an en suite or attached bathroom. It was a great stay for such a large group. We all felt comfortable and were not overly crowded. If you’re in the Tahoe area with a large family, this is the place to stay!

Our family had an amazing time celebrating the 4th of July! The home is spacious and beautiful, exactly how it looked in the pictures. Being able to explore by the stream behind the house, swimming in the pool and going in the hot tub - we were never short on activities! Located away from town and the crowds, but close enough to get there in under 15 minutes. We will absolutely be back!

When we walked in to the home we were speechless! It was more beautiful than the pictures. The kids were in the snow for hours, throw in the pool, hot tub and pool table and you have an amazing place to enjoy family. We all were so impressed by the beauty of this home and the views from every window. The location was wonderful and we felt like we had so much space, as it was so peaceful but close enough to town.
We hope to come back again to enjoy this peaceful, beautiful home.

First, I want to say that this place and property is absolutely gorgeous. The stream was right behind the house which made it even more gorgeous and was very peaceful to listen to. The house is beautiful inside and out. There’s also lots to do to entertain everyone in the group. The only things we had small complaints on were the pool was definitely not warm enough to use for the temperature outside during our stay. I also did ask if there were lots of mosquitoes up there to which I was told “not that I’ve seen.” There were definitely a LOT of mosquitoes up there but once we got some Citronella candles and mosquito spray, it was a lot better. We still enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to others looking for somewhere in the Lake Tahoe area.

House is amazing, location is great as everything is within 20min. of the house. Waterfall's - completely insane. Back yard flooded a bit but the sound of the running water at night made up for not being able to play horseshoe (completely under water) only issue we had was an issue with the hot water heater and pool temp. Everything else was spot on. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Perfect Family Reunion
My adult children and their children all joined us in this home for a week of food and fun. There were 12 of us in total. Eight adults and 4 children under the age of 7.
The house was better than we imagined. Plenty of space to gather and play. The bedrooms were more than enough for a group our size. Everyone spent lots of time playing pool, in the jacuzzi. The kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. Which is not that large and rather cool. But they didn't mind.
There are so many hikes nearby. Including a great place for the kids to splash a nearby stream.
Lake Tahoe is about 20 minutes away (South Lake tahoe). We enjoyed several beaches and an afternoon on a boat we chartered out of this area.
We would love to come back and enjoy this home. It is recommended without reservation.

Tahoe family vacation success!
Mark was very accommodating, allowing both early checkin and late checkout as we had our adult children and grandchildren with us all arriving at different times. When we arrived, we were in awe of the beauty of the home and property. Suffice it to say the pics do not do it justice. We have rented many homes over the years and this is truly our favorite. Ample space for all, every amenity you could ask for and Billy the caretaker is a true asset. You will not be disappointed in your stay.

Our family of 13 (5 kids including 3 babies under 2), had an amazing vacation! We enjoyed the beautiful, well stocked and furnished home with the breathtaking surroundings. Special thank you to Billy and Mark for making sure pool repairs were taken care of in an extremely efficient manner on a very busy holiday weekend. The Kids loved and very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and creek… The Home was very comfortable and peaceful close to Tahoe south shore boating, restaurants and beaches… Thank you!!!

Really nice house - perfect for big groups or large families.
Great property and convenient location to do a lot of day trips. Outdoor area was big and very nice. It was unusually warm when we went and the house got quite hot and no real way to cool it down. They would benefit from having some wall mounted air conditioners. Overall great house and we had a really good time with our family.

This property was absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. The back yard was very secluded and private, which made it nice for early morning coffee, and for the kids to run around and play. The rooms, beds, and amenities were all top notch. We stayed for two night & DEFINITELY wish we would have stayed at least one more! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering staying here.

Gorgeous retreat
Our family of 6 really enjoyed this spacious and beautiful home. The location is quiet and secluded. There is so much to do on a daily basis in the house and on the property that we rarely left! The kids trudged through the snow in the backyard, we played mini golf, we played pool and swam in the pool, and cooked every meal at home in the well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy both quiet and together time. The parents loved gathering on the deck in the evening to relax under the swaying trees with a glass of wine, and everyone slept soundly on the comfortable beds. We would love to return!

Husband’s 40th Birthday getaway
The home is amazing. Just as beautiful, clean, and spacious as the photos listed and it was perfect for our extended family of 14. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, coffee machine, plates/cups, utensils, even had seasoning and extra trash bags. Heated floors throughout the home was nice. Pool and hot tub were heated/on during arrival. Hill in the backyard was perfect for snow sledding.

As we walked in to the kitchen, she smelled something rancid. There were chicken wings molding in the warmer drawer that had obviously been there for quite some time. How it was handled was extremely professional and the o Ky reason whey in writing about it. The property manager sent the caretaker the next morning as well as the cleaning crew again to go over the house. They did a great job at making us feel comfortable and Mike the caretaker was fantastic. Really nice guy and even offered my daughter a ride to the rental car company the next morning. Overall the home is located on a street with less expensive homes. It is by far the best home in the neighborhood. But it is at the end of the cul-de-sac and extremely private. Breathtaking views of the mountains and stream in the back. Friendly neighbors. After reading the other comments I agree there was still too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub, but still quite usable and overall just a fantastic property. For those that want to go in town, it’s about a 25 minute drive to Heavenly and the Casinos. Not bad in good weather. I would definitely recommend this home !!

Property was better than expected! We barely wanted to leave the cabin. Only about 20 minutes to the lake and state-line which was no big deal. Check-in/out was super easy.
I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with family/friends.

Great place!
The property is beyond beautiful! The house came with absolutely everything you will need. Reason I gave a 4 star was because the pool was very cold. Even after the property manager showed up randomly, I asked him to please raise the temperature, but it continued to be cold. It was a bummer because that was one of our main reasons for staying there. Other than that, it was great!

Better than the pictures!
This place was AMAZING. We spend a lot of time in vacation rentals and this was probably the best one we've visited. We will absolutely go back. There's a river in the backyard that we enjoyed when it was warm. There were plenty of places to hang out, play games, and eat. The kitchen was amazing. So many ovens! So many dishwashers! The kids loved the indoor pool. I wasn't sure what to expect after I booked this home because I got a number of emails from the property manager with all caps and bold font about strict limits on the number of people and the number of cars and the dire consequences if we had more than were permitted. Some of the messages conflicted. In one place it said 8 cards were permitted and in several other places, it said 6 cars were permitted. We had a friend stop in for a few hours and we were all nervous about reaching the max but no one bothered us. We met the caretaker when we left and he was lovely. We highly recommend this home. The property manager should screen applicants and be cool to those of us vacationing with families and tone down the electronic yelling though.
