I stayed in two different bungalows. They are spotlessly clean and have a gorgeous seated area out front with a lovely view. Both bungalows had a fridge and adaptors, fans, TV and one has AC, one just mosquito protection with a fan. Quiet, picturesque place where people keep to themselves. Superb food served in the restaurant attached, it has a shop and laundry service too. I loved taking their free canoes out in the river and visiting the local little beach. Lovely garden full of palm trees!

La cordialità della famiglia che gestisce questo HomeStay è impareggiabile sempre con il sorriso e sempre disponibili ad ogni tua richiesta.

Il bungalow non è certo il massimo del confort, non ci sono né comodini e nemmeno un armadio ma per il prezzo pagato va' più che bene basta solo lasciare i vestiti in valigia e appoggiare il telefono nel pavimento durante la notte.

The bungalows are stunning, spotless and gorgeous all round. Fridge, adaptors, kettle and coffee, all provided. The restaurant attached serves amazing food, I can’t recommend this place enough. They provide free kayaks to paddle the few minutes down to the sea ( you can also walk) which was a lovely experience .

Aamiainen oli maittava, ihania tuoreita hedelmiä. Ruoka muutenkin tosi hyvää! Majoitus todella siisti. Ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Lyhyt kävelymatka kauniille rannalle.

Nestled amongst coconut palm trees and by the river, this family run accommodation was perfect for our stay. The bungalow we stayed was quiet and relaxing - with only a 7 min walk to Ao Jark beach. There is an onsite restaurant, shop, motorbike rental and free kayaks - the family were very friendly and helpful and helped us book our onwards ferry. We miss it already, and we will stay here again in the future.

Mūsų šeimai labai patiko. Namelis labai gražus, labai gražioje vietoje, uz 400 metrų vienas iš gražiausių paplūdimių. Aplinka labai graži, nuostabūs pusryčiais, labai malonus personalas. Nuomoja naujus motorolerius už gerą kainą. Mums pasisekė užsisakyti 4 naktimis nes praktiškai čia nebūna laisvų vietų.

Gaila, kad negalėjome čia ilgiau pabūti nes viskas buvo jau užimta.

Das Frühstück war immer frisch zubereitet. Morgens gab es schon warme Mahlzeiten, wenn gewünscht. Das Personal, die ganze Familie, war immer aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besser kann es auch bei den kleinen Preisen nicht sein.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

The garden and surrounds are beautiful located within a palm tree forest and really close to a fabulous beach.

Niin rauhallinen, kaunis paikka. Siistiä, hyvin hoidettua. Ihana, ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvälle rannalle kävelymatka. Hyvä aamupala.

Denna plats är helt underbar. Maten är utsökt och personalen jättevänliga. De balanserar känslan av att vara i familjen med ett vanligt hotell så man könner sig inte i vägen och välkommen när man själv vill umgås.

Familjen bygger ett par hus till och det är familjens man som bygger dem med 2 vänner. De bygger i trä och ibland kan man höra hammaren. Jag tycker det är glädjande att se hur platsen går framåt.

Super nette und herzliche Familie die ihr absolut Bestes tut um den Aufenthalt optimal zu gestalten. Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant ist sehr lecker und ein relativ einsamer Strand ist sehr nahe.

Die Matratzen müssen früher oder später ausgetauscht werden. Aktuell noch komfortabel aber man merkt, dass man bald die ersten Federn spüren wird.

Unser Aufenthalt war so klasse ,ein Traum :-) wir haben uns so sehr wohlgefühlt .....die Bungalows liegen ca 150 m von dem schönsten Strand auf der ganzen Insel ! Mit den Kajaks vom Hause aus , sind wir jeden Tag durch den Fluss zum Strand gefahren. Roller sind vor Ort zu mieten und ein kleiner Minimarkt ist auch vor Ort .Perfekter Urlaub :-) Danke

This homestay is a very special place. It is very quiet and beautifully situated, only 200m from the beach. You can even go to the beach by fem kayak if you want. The whole family works on this place every day with love and dedication. We immediately felt at home, extended our time here and didn't want to leave. There were even tears when we said goodbye. That happens very rarely! We miss the place and the family very much and hope to come back soon. On the other side, you will also find a restaurant that belongs to the homestay. The food is super delicious! Especially the PadThai was the best during our time on the island 😁🤙☀. The homestay was like a home for us. Thank you so much for everything! 💛 Jessi & Jonathan

Best place to stay in Koh Kut. Free Kayaks and convenient scooter rental. Really lovely family and nice food. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was wonderful!! Beautiful bungalow with everything you could need. They really have thought of everything to make your stay more comfortable. Could have stayed here forever. The family that run it are so kind and accommodating and it felt like you were part of the family. The location is off the beaten track which made it feel like a real retreat. 3 mins from the beach and they even have little kayaks so that you can go down the stream to the beach. Just perfect!! Can’t recommend highly enough.

This place is so beautiful and has a great location close to the beach. The family is super friendly and the service is in top. I can totally recommend to spend your holiday here.

This is an exceptional place. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and make you immediately feel at home. They keep the ground, restaurant and bungalows clean and orderly. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the same was true for the breakfast, which was included in the price. The staff offered to lend us their kayaks for free, we could also use their bike for a short ride, without a problem. For 300 baht an extra mattress was added to our bungalow for our child.

It is difficult to think of things that were not great. The bungalow was a little small? But we knew that when we booked it. The weather was uncomfortably hot...

Modem, TV box and A/C power lights were extremely bright making sleep difficult ( if you are a light sleeper) Do need motorbike because of proximity to the rest of koh kood

More of a recommendation than complaint: Would be good to have the fridge on a seperate power connection so it stays on when leaving the room

We stayed in the family bungalow for one night. The room is a good size, fitting 3 adults sharing, and we found it comfortable for just 2 of us, as we appreciated the space. There was a curtain to separate the bedroom from the small living area with a loveseat sofa, a coffee table, and fridge. We only had small bags with us so there was a decent amount of space to store our things. A clothing rack is provided (kept outside) but can be brought in to hang clothes too. The bathroom and balcony is also a decent size. There is plenty of bench space and a table on the private balcony as well as a comfortable wooden chair. The view overlooks the river and the garden to the other bungalows. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The AC and Wi-Fi & hot water shower work (although low pressure). There is a bar of handsoap provided for each guest & fresh bottle of water each day, with regular housekeeping and linen change. The included breakfast is nice, a homecooked thai noodle or rice dish depending on the day, as well as toast with jam or butter., and fresh tropical fruit. There is instant Nescafé provided but proper coffee can be purchased at the cafe up the road or at the rimlay beach restaurant about 5 minutes walk. Nok & her family are very nice & helpful. She helped book our transfer to Bangkok, and also rented us a good quality motorbike (250 baht /day high season). They also have a small mini market /convenience store which is great for buying snacks, drinks, shampoo and other essentials (they have mosquito repellents as well as reasonably priced large cold Leo or Chang beers). Our host Nok also makes Thai lunch or dinner at reasonable prices at their family restaurant across the road. Her family were really lovely and we’d stay again!

A couple small things to note. The electricity can be intermittent in the evenings, so the lights can cut out for a minute or two whilst having a shower. We also saw a small cockroach in the bathroom the morning we were leaving, but we hope this was a just one-off as the waste water pipe is an open hose that goes directly out to the garden behind the bungalow, so it probably crawled up the pipe. We mentioned it to Nok and hopefully she’ll have sorted it.

We stayed 3 nights in the cute 13 sq M wooden bungalow. Ac, Wi-Fi and hot water shower all worked. The AC much needed as it gets very hot during the day. There was daily top up of bottled water, and housekeeping every other day with fresh linens. The location was very good, within 5 minutes walk to the Klong jark beach., with a couple choices of beach restaurant bars there at the small resorts. On site, our host also runs a small convenience store, very handy for buying large cold Leo or Chang beers, mosquito repellents and snacks. She also rents out good condition motorbikes, supplies petrol, and also has a delicious and well priced Thai restaurant, which she cooks herself. The breakfast is a Thai buffet that changes slightly each day (seafood fried rice, pad seeiw noodles), sliced bread for toast and fried eggs. There is also plenty of ripe and delicious fruit. Coffee is Nescafé, but there is proper coffee available at the Rim Lay on the beach or the cafe inland up the road. We loved the grounds of the homestay, overlooking the river that leads to the beach bay, and the simple but well-maintained gardens. The bungalow itself was very quaint and clean. We had a small fridge (the power only switches on with the key), and some pegs to hang our towels and clothes. Conveniently there is a shared drying rack outside between neighbouring bungalow. There are also wooden benches and a table on the private balcony to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. We had a lovely peaceful time and our host was welcoming and friendly.

We had a great time so just some small comments. The rooms were a little cosy and small for a longer stay, but doable. It would have been nice to have one more small table or cupboard to put our things., and extra hook in the bathroom for the towels. The walls are thin, so quiet depends on the guests in the nearby bungalows. The electricity is a little unstable, so lighting can cut out for a minute or 2 whilst having a shower in the evenings.

We had a perfect stay here. The staff was super friendly and food in the restaurant was one of the best we have had in Thailand. Location is close to beach and with the scooter that they rent, it is easy to explore the island. Would highly recommend!

Everything was super! The garden is very beautiful, and in general, the area is very well maintained. The family is very helpful and the food was super delicious!

There could be more electrical sockets in the room.

Nook and the whole family are just amazing and accommodated our every need. The location was perfect for us - places out on the lagoon, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but within a stones throw of the beach. We are like a King and Queen during our stay and the food was wholesome and fulfilling.

Absolutely nothing

The location is a bit far from the centrum but on the other hand it’s very quet and peaceful. The surrounding is also very pleasant and the garden is very beautiful and wellmaintained. Our hosts were so welcoming, they were always ready to help and they also brought us some coconut when they saw us we like it. When we asked them about the banana in coconut milk dessert, even though it wasn’t on the menu they cooked it for us. The beach nearby is actually one of the best in the island. Their restaurant and shop all have reasonable prices.

Our host wasn’t so good at English and this made the communication sometimes a bit harder.
