Highlands home close to town on Rhododendron Trail
A más de 4000 pies, estamos a unos 20 minutos a pie de Highlands en el Rhododendron Trail. Nuestra luz y soleada 2 cama / 2. 5 baños casa está ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo con un hermoso bosque detrás. Hidden mountain home in private setting with plenty of amenities for a comfortable escape.

We loved our stay at this fabulous mountain home! Lots of windows with plenty of natural light. No mountain views since the trees were fully leafed out, but the canopy was so pretty and we felt like we were in a tree house. Beautifully decorated, very clean, and a great kitchen. Debbie is a wonderful host, and check-in and out were a breeze. Great location and very close to Main Street. We struggled a bit in our Mercedes sedan (no 4WD) on the gravel roads and driveway, and the concrete slab "ramps" were a big help in getting up and down the driveway. Luckily, we had good weather during our stay; however, we're not sure we could've managed our comings and goings as well in inclement weather. Overall, a great property!

Beautiful and beautifully-appointed house. Great location, tucked away but close to town and nearby hiking. Very well equipped. Would have given a 5 but we were required to take our garbage with us. But overall, a great house!!

We truly enjoyed staying at this property with my 2-year-old son and my friends! Beautiful occasion in the woods, with lots of little trails close by that allow you to easily get into town. The driveway was a bit hard for our Toyota Highlander front wheel drive, but still worth the stay!
And it has a nice open living room dining room area-That was perfect for my 2-year-old to run around, and a large table so we could play board games at night!
We would definitely book again in the future!

The home was fantastic. This is our second stay at this location. From the location in the trees right next to a hiking trail to having a fire each night in the wood burning fireplace this home is amazing. From check in to check out, everything was perfect:

We had a great stay at Debbie’s property for our yearly Thanksgiving trip! The home was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Perfect for myself, my husband, and parents. Just a short drive into town so it was perfect proximity for all there is to do. Only issue we ran into was that our Nissan Armada was far too large to be in that driveway or safely get out. There are two concrete slabs to help you get up the driveway but the top became slippery and difficult to maneuver once we got up there. The home was lovely and we would book again in a heartbeat but would bring a different vehicle next time for ease of use.

We drove in from PA for my nephews wedding and the area did not disappoint. The home is close to town and a very short drive to Highlands Country Club. We can't wait to go back! If it is a nice day I suggest you walk to town. Parking is at a premium. We parked 3 blocks from Main Street and joked we should have just walked. The home is gorgeous! My kiddos loved the rock formations and woods. Beautiful, beautiful home!

This house was amazing. The house was absolutely spotless. I was so amazed with the beautiful decor throughout the house and stunning Mountain Views. The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out or gather in the nice living room. The host was very prompt with her responses and she even provided great directions to the house so we we would not be lost. Lastly, it was just minutes from town by car, but offered stunning Mountain Views. I highly recommend this house for any stay!

Birthday weekend
We came to Highlands with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. Great house and location. We enjoyed seeing some of the many waterfalls in the area!

Great House and Location
We had a great time here! The property is near the top of the Rhododendron trail, and the house has windows in just the right spots to see a gorgeous sunrise. Highly recommend!

Post Christmas Adventures in Highlands
This property is excellent! We even asked the owner to let us know if she ever plans to sell it because we want a shot at it! Clean. Well decorated. Plenty of linens and comforts. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. Family photos and games that invite your family to be part of their family.
Debbie was awesome! We arrived after a hard freeze with ice covered roads causing major issues for my 2WD truck. We couldn’t make it up the road to the cabin. I called Debbie and she routed us a different way. When we got stuck that way, too she offered to credit our stay if we needed to find other accommodations.
One of the neighbors came to our rescue. He pulled my truck out of the road to a safer spot. We were determined to stay so we unloaded our luggage and huffed it up the hill about 100 yards. The next day the ice had melted enough to to move my truck and our adventures resumed.
An unexpected adventure, a great owner, and nice neighbors (who were exceptionally quiet) combined for a superb time of fun for my family. We will return to stay with Debbie again. No doubt!!!!

Perfect location! Perfect house!!
If you are visiting Highlands and want a place that is close to everything and still has the peaceful feeling of seclusion and rest this is the location for you. The home is beautiful and supplies everything you need to make your visit complete. The owner was helpful in every way and responsive to all our inquiries. We highly recommend.

Great place!
Beautiful house, newer construction, very well equipped, spacious and airy, wonderful deck overlooking lots of greenery, peaceful setting, everything in full working order - highly recommended!! Just be aware that the last part of the drive is a somewhat rutted gravel road, perhaps a bit of a challenge for lower-riding cars, although not bad in our CR-V.
