It was on the way to our desk for vacation.

We were in a room near a stairwell and smelled cigarette smoke all night.

The breakfast was ok, the normal,although a little scarce. Only a little put out at a time but the waffles were great. We only ate once out of 3 mornings.I honestly think that only 6 or 7 people run the entire establishment. The owner/manager was awesome,as was housekeeping . The 2 housekeepers, an older couple,husband and wife clean the entire facility,plus attend to the laundry!, YES, just two of them! They do an amazing job and with kindness so I tipped them accordingly (they certainly deserve it) Beds were comfy and clean,plenty of pillows. My niece wanted to purchase the pillows,thats how comfy they were. The room has plenty of towels,washclothes , well stocked.. Not just two per room like some places.

The night clerk was NOT friendly at all. I arrived at !:30am and no one was around. There was a bell on the other side of the counter (which should have been placed on the counter for guests convenience) my nephew simply leaned over the top, smaller part of the counter and rang the bell.(after waitiing 5 min or more) When the night clerk (jay??) a man,arrived, NO Good Morning, Welcome or Hello , just a YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO REACH OVER THE COUNTER! I gave my ID, CC and tried to show him my confirmation ,not one word from him. No total, NOTHING. After traveling 12 hrs, I was sleepy and accidentally put my cc in the wrong way, AT WHICH TIME HE SMIRKED AND ROLLED HIS EYES, LIKE I WAS STUPID OR SOMETHING. I quickly realized my mistake and fixed it. The entire check in time, this man never uttered one word to any of us (except the comment about leaning over the counter) for reference, there was nothing on the the other side of the counter,but the bell. I HAD TO ASK WHERE OUR ROOMS WERE LOCATED.My nephews arrived 5 hrs earlier than myself and were not allowed to check in until I arrived, even though I purchased the rooms thru Booking.com and they had ALL of my CC info and 2 other rooms booked. ALSO, AN FYI They charge a nightly fee, per room for using a credit card. I have never been charged this anywhere else (I travel alot.) It may not matter to most but I like to know what all of the extra charges are for. The owner/manager does NOT speak english ( he does try very hard and is very helpful) so I did not understand the charge. I called Mastercard and they explained the motel charged me a % of nightly rate for using the card.

Very clean and beds and pillows were very comfortable

Rooms were a little small for someone who might be staying a extended period of time. But we’re fine for one night stay.

The location is great and it does have a free breakfast and WiFi

The room smelled musty and there was mold on the ceiling and it was flaking off in chunks in the bathroom. It wasn’t clean.

All around satisfied with a very nice facility.

We arrived to breakfast around 7:30 and the food was largely gone. If we’d been 10 minutes later we would have had nothing to eat except cereal!!!
