Mega coole Vibes, sehr familiär, nicer chillout bereich. Das perfekte kater frühstück von mama zubreietet "you got a plate , you got a crepe"👍 weil die leute und die vibes so genial waren war ich statt 3 tage eine ganze woche im hostel. Vielen Dank an das ganze stuff und mama 😁🐓

I would go back and not just for Mama's delicious crepes in the morning. Hostels are complicated sometimes and it is not easy to create a space that is comfortable and invites people to chat and hang out with each other but The Rising Cock Hostel did great. Even though it is a Party Hostel, it is also quiet enough if you need to relax a bit ( of course it always depends on the people surrounding you) Every night there is a free pub crawl you can join, whenever you want, because they communicate their location always over the WhatsApp group. I was there in the off-season, so I guess it was a bit more quiet but I had a blast and met amazing people I spent the days with. Mama has always some tips if you need some and so far, the beds are the most comfortable hostel beds, I´ve ever slept in. It is funny to see all the different beddings and prints for the beds, it gives the entire room a different charm and makes it feel homey also.

The bathrooms are really dark and often not the cleanest but it is more the circumstances of the people and the build of the house.

The only good thing about the hostel was the location because it was near the beach and the city centre.

The room was dingy. The beds didn’t have curtains so there was absolutely no privacy. The bathroom didn’t have a lock. I didn’t have a good experience. On my last night there someone brought a guest in the middle of the night because of which I couldn’t sleep and he was literally there till morning. I think I started disliking Lagos the moment I entered the hostel. Would not recommend

Friendly & helpful staff, good location.

The bed was a bit hard and a tad difficult with the stairs (I had the top bunk bed).

mama was so lovely and all the staff were so great, friendly and made us feel like we were home after travelling for so long!

Metal beds with average mattresses, no curtains and no power outlets by the beds Showers are often out of warm water during peak shower time in the afternoon

Amazing stay! Staff is super friendly and welcoming, planning tons of different activities. Other guests were really nice and social, which made it easy to make friends. Rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were super clean too! Breakfast is also amazing!! Honestly things couldn’t have been better, and I’d recommend Rising Cock to anyone looking to have a good time in Lagos!
