we wanted to be able to spend some time near the ocean. This is a small place but an easy walk to Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay. A nice, quiet backyard. We enjoyed eating dinner there. A good place for a couple or perhaps a small family. A tiny but excellent shower. I would be happy to rent this place again.

Very private; cozy; quiet at night; excellent access to coastal trail and the beach. This was the second time we stayed at this property, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the Mediterranean and the Himalayan restaurants we ordered to go dinners from were fantastic. The property manager/host couldn’t have been easier to work with.

The property was super cute and clean. It was just as described. It was super close to a dog, friendly beach, 15 minute walk or a very short drive to the parking lot for the beach. The Coastal Trail is also at the beach, if you want to take a nice walk along the coast with beautiful views! Hosts are very friendly and responsive. Quickly gave recommendations upon request. We enjoyed our trip so much and can’t wait to return!

We booked this stay last minute as a spur of the moment beach trip and we so fortunate this one was available! Coming in, the instructions for everything was very clear and the property was adorable! Great location right off the coast! The owners were amazing as well. Can’t wait to book again!

Very clean. Had everything you need. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, and soaps.

Cute and cozy cottage. Tight quarters the patio is nice and the walking to the beach is great exercise. It’s met all of our expectations.

The rental was exactly as advertised, very clean, organized, and perfect for a short term stay. It’s in a wonderful location in HMB, only a short walk to the beautiful coastal path. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Although close to neighbors, we felt like we had enough privacy.

Property in great location. The studio is compact but perfect for two. The bed was very comfortable after hours of exploring between HMB and Santa Cruz. The private backyard was so pretty with beautiful succulents. We enjoyed our stay and would have loved to have had a longer visit.

This cottage was just the right size for me, my husband and our adult daughter. The weather was beautiful and we were only a short walk to the beach. The fenced yard was an added plus for our two small dogs. The neighborhood was very quiet. We’d definitely stay here again.

This place is as advertised. Small but quaint. Great location--easy walking distance to the beach and a short drive to downtown HMB. Lots of great bakeries and restaurants therefore nearby. Would come back and use it again.

We live only a little over an hour away but coming to HMB for a weekend feels like a true getaway. We chose this house because it was in a quiet neighborhood and dog friendly. We were not disappointed! The hosts make this spot so special with coastal decor and everything there to make our stay comfortable including a stocked kitchen and plenty of linens. Morning coffee on the private patio was perfect. Parking is easy and a short walk to the beach. Main St is really close - across HWY 1 and just up the road a bit. I really appreciated the small kitchenette. And plenty of beach towels there for our use if we needed them. Our pup was super comfortable and enjoyed sitting on the patio with us. We would absolutely stay here again and will tell our friends.

This was a really nice and private location. The space was well equipped and other than food, I didn’t need to go out and get anything for my stay. The owners were very attentive and made sure I was able to get all settled in. There was a binder with a lot of great ideas which helped in deciding where to visit/eat. Would definitely recommend and the drive to the beach is literally 2 minute away or about a ten minute walk.

Great location for visiting the Half Moon Bay area with easy access to the beach and wonderful coastal trail. Unit is very cozy and everything functioned as expected. Nice outdoor space too.

Easy check in and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the walk to beach and a nice long uncrowded beach. Our two small dogs enjoyed the backyard and the fence was very secure so our toy dog could not get out. We enjoyed hanging out in the back yard too!

Great beach access

Enjoyed the stay the only thing I would change is having a hand vacuum on the premises and changing the under staircase space to storage shelving and the other storage unit near the shower to a decent refrigerator because you hit your head on the staircase getting in and out of the frige. Also, a larger tv. Just suggestions but completely enjoyed the neighborhood, the proximity to the beach and downtown, the appeal of the little cottage and everything else about it!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Tiny Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The fully enclosed courtyard was a lovely bonus for us and our dog. Looking forward to a return visit.

Work out well for our family. Our 10 month old loved the patio and made for perfect date nights with take out after he went to bed.

Plan well to stay here…. It’s a nice location (can walk to the beach) and it’s fairly quiet (nestled in a neighborhood) with a small, but sweet patio area…. But cooking is very abbreviated and inside privacy (unless you’re alone) is zero…. But over all that, if you can observe those cautions …. It’s an absolutely charming destination!!

We live just a few blocks away and were having our home fumigated and needed a place to stay for us and our two cats. It was perfect! Cats don't tend to like change, and they both just hunkered down upstairs on the bed on a blanket I'd brought over (thought it would help to have something that smelled familiar). So happy to know about this little place if we have overflow guests that we cant accomodate!
