First thing that comes out is the house is located in a very nice neighborhood and I didn’t have many issues with the property other than the tv not working properly and the occasional trouble with toilet not flushing properly and the shower in the master bedroom leaks out on the floor if you let the shower water run on the glass door. I don’t think it’s anything major it just needs to be fixed. I don’t want anyone to think that the house was bad or anything like that but those little things like the leak under the sink in the kitchen can make it seem worse than it was. I loved the house and how beautiful it looks and Mr.John was a awesome host and my family really enjoyed the house and appreciate him letting us use his property and I will definitely recommend and rent from him again thank you very much for sending help when we called and we appreciate your help. The property is a very beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk around and be safe and it is walking distance to shopping and eating places. Next time I’m in town I will definitely be looking forward to staying there again. Great place to stay.

Booked this beautiful home and found that the listing was very accurate. Great location to visit any area of the city. Restaurants, bars, grocery and shopping stores within walking distance.

The property was great, but with a few cosmetic issues. Property manager was great up until towards the end of my stay when he didn’t answer, nor return my call. Major issue was the ceiling leaked all week that looks like from upstairs, but I couldn’t tell the property manager, because that’s when he didn’t answer nor return my call. The beds in the secondary rooms were smaller than advertised. Many light bulbs need to be replaced throughout home. TV’s in only two rooms of the four, and the one in the master bedroom is much too small, and a very bad picture. I was there for a conference, and had plenty of evening time to watch tv, so that wasn’t good. Very few channels on the tv, so I was thankful to have had my fire stick. It was however stocked very well with toiletries.

If this is one of your Top 3 selections to decide of staying while you’re in Houston, Make this your #1. The neighborhood alone is quaint. Surrounded by everything. Parks. Restaurants. Stores. Minutes from downtown. And surrounding areas. And the home itself. A resort away from home. Enough space to beyond comfortably fit a family of 7. Beautifully designed home w/ high ceilings, large bedrooms and bathrooms and sitting areas. This review could easily turn into an ad to sell the home. Kitchen had what you required. And we love cooking and it provided the space and ambiance. I could go on (especially about the primary shower…Amazing) After a long day with family or friends, it was such a comfort to return to a home so comfortable. And the host was so responsive and kind. This will be our Houston, home away from home.

This property was just as described, what a wonderful place! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating! There were 8 adults in my group, the house was the perfect size with a feeling of home and we all slept comfortably. Next time we are in Houston we are definitely requesting to stay here again!

Good location, good value but..,
The only problem was a ceiling leak from the upstairs master shower to the kitchen table below. This happened to be where I set up my work space. No damage was done to my equipment but it’s not something I anticipated in a rental.

The good; it was quiet, location was good, pictures were accurate. The bad; a bit worn and furnishings could have been better but that being said, the photos did reflect this. The place generally shows it’s wear. It served its purpose for a quick trip into Houston however.

I had a excellent experience working with Johnny. Everything with smooth, from the booking and the checking in process. He was readily available for any questions I had before the stay and he even let us do an early check-in the day of. Amazing stay. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property in September 2021 and it was perfectly located near my daughters wedding venue. The home looked exactly like the pics and was spacious and very nice. Parking is a bit tight on the streets, but overall not an issue. The owner was very responsive and communicated immediately each time I reached out to him.

We were looking for a rental home large enough for six adults and close to a family member that lives in Houston. This house was perfect. The check in process was super easy. Johnny answered all questions in a timely manner. The house was very clean. This home was very posh at one time. The furnishings have suffered a bit which is customary with a rental property. But that did not bother us one bit. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for all to shower. The WiFi was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Staying at the house was great. Big open space. Master bedroom was amazing the closet oh my. The sauna in the other bedroom awesome. Living room & kitchen great space to enjoy time with the family. When I need a house again in Houston. Johnny will be the first person I contact.

Property was nice but don’t stay there if you plan to fix any meals unless you bring your own pots and pans. Also, if you do use any dishes it will be hard to wash without dishwasher soap.

The buttons on the oven are missing so it’s almost to impossible to use, the grill & fridge were dirtyas well & the ice machine doesn’t work. To top it off there were roaches inside the property & we were told it’s NORMAL for Texas. It was honestly a disappointing stay.

We were with 2 families in the house. In the week where there was a once in a generation cold storm in Texas. The house was all good very reliable, we did not lose electricity or internet or heat. Where in the news millions of other were less fortunate. House is nice and big. Really liked the open area upstairs for the kids to play. Enjoyed the sauna as well. Nice driveway fitting 2 cars. Location is perfect central located in Houston. The only minor suggestion is some of the kitchen equipment like the pans might need to be replaced. Would definitely come back again :)

Enjoy our stay
A beautiful house. I love the interior, the decor and the staircase. Spacious. We only stayed for 2 days so it was adequate for what we needed. There are minor details that could make it better such as a hairdryer, and other amenities.

Nice stay/Beautiful House
The house is very beautiful and spacious. I didn't like the sleeping situation. The ad said that the house could sleep 16 people. There were 4 bedrooms and 3 sofas that didn't pull out to make beds. I had 12 people with me and eight of them were couples. But, overall the house was great.
