Location and view are priceless but it wasn’t welcoming or well stocked, smells like mold when you walk in the door. ONE KITCHEN TOWEL NOT ENOUGH BATH TOWELS, NO EXTRA TOILET PAPER or paper towels no extra trash bags Pillows were flat No extra blankets Master bath has serious mold issues feels like you’re about to fall through the floor in the tub shower leaks out the opposite end somehow, handles are mixed up original 1980’s are not on the correct valves Both tub showerheads are about to fall off All knives are dull and pans are horribly scratched on most pans Washer and dryer don’t work well Microwave under counter light doesn’t work

Stephanie cares about her guests. We were treated very kindly, and I would highly recommend any of her properties to Bogue Banks vacationers. Our experiences have made this stretch of beach our favorite of all the East Coast. Thanks for having us, and we hope to be back soon!

Owner is excellent communicator. Home was immaculate. Highly recommend, would love to return one day. The beach was beautiful with crystal clear emerald water, we found so many good shells. So close to Beaufort and we took the ferry to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout.

This was a great stay for our family with 2 young kids. The views were amazing and the space was perfect. The amenities were a nice added feature. We would definitely stay again.

A Place at the Beach III is definitely a fun family resort. The condo had a great view, was extremely clean and the location is perfect. The condo was supplied with plenty of bedding/linens/towels/cooking utensils, pots and pans. Everything to make a home away from home was included. We look forward to making more family memories in the coming years.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. We have stayed in the area multiple times but have never experienced so many amenities on one property like this one has! The unit itself was beautifully updated and extra care was made to include as many conveniences as you would have in your own home. I'm so used to overpacking to ensure our needs are met so it was refreshing to have everything needed already there! They really did think of everything and Aaron and Stephanie themselves were beyond accommodating and kind. I read the comments about the washer/dryer being difficult to access so I was mentally prepared but I'm so used to staying at places that require you to walk a distance from the unit then pay to wash your clothes that this came as a luxury. I'm a big girl and got in there just fine. I do think a lot of comments also forget how difficult it is to maintain beach properties. And the buildings themselves are older so that comes with older plumbing. Water pressure will always be an issue for buildings like this but we have stayed in places with far less pressure than here. Ultimately, the only critique we have is just a personal preference of having the bathrooms bath/shower combos updated. However, we take no issue with the existing ones. While dated, they were efficient nonetheless. We will be returning customers and couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our vacation♡ Don't skip out on this unit!

We just got home from our stay here and miss it already! The condo was smaller than ones we have rented in the past but it was laid out to most efficiently use all available space without feeling cramped, and the decor was so cute! I have a bad back and was thrilled that the primary bed was SO comfy and my back didn’t hurt once all week. 🙌 The condo was clean, cozy, so cute, and well stocked. The owners did a great job with the remodel! The view was gorgeous!!!! My only minor complaint would be the washer was difficult to get things in/out of with the lid opening sideways (rather than front-back) and there was mold on the primary bedroom inner shower curtain, which is an easy fix. Overall we totally loved the place!!!

This ocean front condo was great for a long weekend. Clean and updated throughout. Will definitely rent again.

We loved the view and the property. The only advice would be a map in the check in packet. We arrived in the dark and had no idea how to find out which building we were in and how to get to the actual unit. There may have been a map in the original folder- and it just got removed but that would have helped for sure. We will for sure stay here again! Loved it!

Great response when flight got cancelled and needed to check in a day early. Location and ocean view was priceless. Didn’t do any of resorts activities but beach was great. Condo had everything needed but could use extra towels, blankets, and linen. Had to use same cheap white towel the whole stay. The main complaint was the showers. The water pressure was very poor and was hard to get temperatures right. Pressure was affected when other facets were used. Would rate this as poor as when we stayed in Mexico!

The views from the rental are wonderful. The condo has been upgraded so its much nicer on the inside than expected based on how the property looked on the outside. Overall our stay was fine but with minor frustrations and nothing that we reached out to maintenance or the owner about since it didn't really affect us too much. The shower in the second bedroom did not work, we did reclean the shower in the master because there was a lot of scum left, there wasn't a screen in the master bedroom window and the screen in the sliding door in the master was installed upside down so it didn't open easily. We would have opened the bedroom window but did not feel comfortable without a screen. There is laundry in the kitchen but it's difficult to use because it's not a stackable set but rather two full sized units that have been made to fit in a very small area. You can't completely open the washer lid. Someone before us had lost some items in the drum and we struggled to get them out because there just isn't space. We decided it wasnt worth washing anything. Also be careful opening the refrigerator door because it's large and in a tight space and you might catch your fingers. We were told there is usually a security guard stationed at night and we went out every night and the booth was always vacant. And to wear your bracelets around the property because you will get stopped. We never saw any employee other than the one in the office. The indoor pool and hot tub were broken with no heat but no signs were posted. Luckily I did not have kids that just ran and jumped in! The hot tub was still bubbling so we went over there and it was freezing too. My husband suggested they put up a sign on the pool doors at least to alert guests. Supposedly the part was coming in soon. But I could have saved myself the cost and time of swimsuit shopping at the local souvenir shop for swimwear that I couldn't use had there been an alert posted for guests. The condos were undergoing maintenance so the carpet from the hallways was being pulled up so listening to constructions workers ALL day was very frustrating. Overall the condo itself was clean, upgraded and comfortable and I would recommend it for a couple looking for a weekend getaway. The issues that really impacted us the most was nothing related to the owner and the condo itself and was with the complex as a whole. And I'm sure things would be different during peak season with repairs.

We really enjoyed the views this condo offered. We also loved how close we were to the beach and how convenient it was to walk down the boardwalk to get there in a few minutes. The area is also close to several great restaurants and the shops and waterfront of Morehead City. However, we were pretty unnerved to see very large cockroaches two different times in the apartment. Knowing there were roaches around made it hard to sleep at night. It also made us very uneasy about the cleanliness of countertops, cabinets, etc, knowing they had been present. This definitely affected our comfort, sleep, and overall perception of the cleanliness of the condo. We mentioned this to the office, and they only said that they would "let the owner know." I tried alerting the owner by messaging through VRBO, and the response I got just said they'd let the HOA know. In my opinion, neither seemed very concerned. This is definitely not something we'd expect to encounter when paying this price for a rental property.

The unit was perfect for a relaxing time. The view on the deck alone makes this place worth while, but everything else was amazing as well. Comfortable living room, spacious bedroom and well stocked kitchen. Can't wait to stay here again!

This location was lovely and comfortable. Being so close to Fort Macon State Park allowed for beautiful morning walks along the beach. The condo community has a very nice pool and the property grounds are well maintained. The beachfront view from the unit was terrific!

This was our first time in Atlantic Beach. The condo was wonderful. There was nothing more we could have asked for. The place was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfy. I love having a king bed on vaca (not always an option) . The view was AMAZING from the balcony and the bedroom. The pool was great. It was huge. We were the only ones in at in the morning . The hosts were always available for any questions. We would come back again and would def recommend.

This condo was the perfect fit for your family of 6 and the view was unbeatable! It was a great first visit to Atlantic Beach and everyone loved the pools and amenities on the property. Only wish the office was open later during the week so we could play some evening mini golf! Loved the water slide and the private walk to the beach. Kiddos kept asking to come back next year!

Lovely condo on the 3rd floor for perfect views of the ocean. Perfect for our family of 4. Washer and dryer situation is a bit awkward be we fully appreciate having laundry in the condo rather than having to lug dirty clothes and swimsuits to the first floor laundry room.

The condo was perfect for our family of five. The area had plenty to do and our kids had so much fun. We had a beautiful ocean view from the condo and it was close to the beach and pools.

The condo was very clean. Check in was simple. There were a few palmetto bugs (large cockroaches) in the smaller bedroom that made the kids evacuate that room! I was told they are common in the area. The washer and dryer were difficult to use. I was unable to open the washer lid the whole way, and needed a stool to get to the dryer. Despite that the rest of home was beautiful and would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our vacation thanks to your accommodation. Everything was our speed, slower pace, life is good. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely spot.

Another wonderful week at this place. This was our second year renting this unit and once again it did not disappoint. We were a little bummed that the water slide was out of operation most of the week and the indoor pool closed for two days but that is no reflection of the rental itself. We still made wonderful memories and had a great time.

I agree with the other reviews. The view can’t be beat. But for $358 per night plus fees and taxes for 7 nights, they were pretty stingy in some areas. The toilet paper was the thinnest I’ve ever seen and we were limited to 3 pods for laundry and a few for dishwashing. Seems like a small thing to nitpick about but when you pay that kind of money, you don’t want to feel nickled and dimed like that. You can stay at the same property for lower rates but you won’t get the kitchen upgrades or the view, so you decide if it’s worth it!

The condo we rented (374) and its community is lovely and very family friendly. Easy access to beach, beautiful outdoor pool, large grills, reasonably priced concession stand, friendly staff, awesome playground and live music by the pool on Fridays in the summer ! My only complaints are that 1)there are no trash rooms or shoots; walking to the dumpsters everyday was inconvenient and 2) the washer/dryer unit in our condo was old(too many hard water stains in washer) and placed inadequately ( couldn’t open the washer door all but 1/3 of the way b/c dryer shelf was hung low). Lastly, too many “skeeters”. They’re huge!!!

View from this room is AMAZING!!!! Master bed is awesome.. Only thing it needs is better furniture an new shower heads but there ok.

This is the easiest condo for a true oceanfront view and suited us perfectly for a little anniversary escape. The owners are so nice to work with and it was easy access. The 2nd bedroom enable extra space and our daughter was able to join for part of our trip. The kitchen is well equipped, even for my fancy breakfast cooking and my husband cooking the fish he caught.
