The loft was great for our stay in NY. It had all the amenities we needed. Farida was a great host and very accommodating to all our needs.

Check in process was easy. The property was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Farida was very communicative.

Fiance and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the cute loft. Farida is a great host and had the place stocked with any needed toiletries and had a mini fridge, microwave & oven. The private deck outside is a nice touch as well. We loved the area too, close enough to catch public transportation to the city. We definitely recommend the space for anyone looking for a getaway or business trip. 10/10.

The first few days of my stay were fine. Location is ok, neighborhood is nice. The house is on a busy road. Not too walkable to anything, such as dining, entertainment as the roads are busy and no direct path. Took Uber to LIRR daily to go into the city $10 per trip. There is no lighting on the exterior of the house so if you get back in the evening there is no porch light and makes it hard to see. There’s a situation with the light to the stairwell and if you don’t have the switches on the exact setting it doesn’t work. The first 3 nights I slept fine despite hearing scuffling in the attic space. The 4th night I watched a mouse climb from the wall. I contacted VRBO about the incident and they sent a message to the owner. The owner never responded and due to my long stay in the city that day I was not able to connect with the owner. The next night I was so exhausted from the non-sleep the night before I made it through for an early departure to catch my flight and I sent a message to the owner. The owner was so worried about how much an exterminator would cold she offered no compensation for the last 2 nights and VRBO didn’t seem to care about the situation. I’ve waited a week to hear the results of her extermination inspection and nothing. So don’t expect any response from this owner if you have an issue and she implies the story was made up after admitting she’s had other creatures in her attic in the past and how expensive it is to take care of.

Clean and cozy

This was a very nice, clean, quiet home in a safe neighborhood. We walked to breakfast and dinner, and to the laundromat and always felt safe. We went to the LIRR station at UBS Arena and caught the train into Manhattan very easily. Farida was very helpful.

The host was very accommodating and easy to reach. The residence was in a great location and clean. A pleasant surprise and great parking options considering that’s unusual in NY.

It was a very good house

Not enough good things to say. Beautiful home. Beautiful garden. All the amenities. Sleeps up to six people. Bathroom has a wonderful rain shower head with glass enclosure. Clean. Host is very pleasant. Easy to interact with. Plenty of parking along the street. Centrally located to airport and all the sites in New York.

Nice clean place good for a lot of people

This place was amazing. Not only is the property owner very personable, kind and down to earth; but she’s available to answer any questions do you have or help with anything you need. This property is very clean and you can tell the property owner takes pride in interior design. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get and I would recommend anyone to stay here. I will become a regular using this place every time I go back to New York to visit my family.

We loved Farida and the accommodation, and the neighborhood. There were very many nice touches; she was personable and thought of almost everything. There was even a tiny koi pond out front. The only thing I would have added is an info sheet about how to walk to the nearest public transportation, in case the hostess is not in, but this is something any host should do. In lieu of this, when Farida knew we had a need, she provided copious oral instructions. We would go back any time and highly recommend this rental. It was very nearly perfect. better than we hoped for.

Farida's property is an exquisitely styled retreat, and she is a great host. It's all that's advertised and more.

It was actually bigger than I thought. It was nice to have two separate areas to spread out in. The place has everything you could need and then some. Nice deck. About 20 min Uber to JFK and Kings Point. I’ll be back for sure!!!

Nice loft that met our needs. You are parking on a busy street so you needed to be careful getting out on the driver side. Owner was very responsive when contacted.
