Kurt was super responsive and helpful answering all our questions. The house was as described and very well equipped with all the daily essentials. There where some minor imperfections as with all properties. The outdoor space was where we spent most of our time at the house and couldn’t have been any better. The cabanas, pool, and hot tub were amazing. Overall we would rent again, thanks for the hospitality. Aruba is definitely The Happy Island, great place to vacation too.

The house is a nice house sitting on a hill like a castle. But the pictures are outdated the house needs to upgrades. The owner of the home told me the caretaker was Javier but I never saw him until second to the last day and we stay there for 7days. Kathy was the one who we dealt with mostly unless I mess the owner on VRBO. Kathy nor Javier spoke English. Luckily we have a family member who spoke Spanish. One room was full of ants on the wall and in the bed. I had my family member message Kathy via what’s up app that’s how they like to communicate via that app. She messaged her in Spanish about the ants, hot tube not working and pool being dirty. Then there was a issue of someone coming in and out of the garage door whenever they wanted to use the washer and dryer in the house. Huge security issue for me and made a lot of my family members uncomfortable. Apparently the people who take care of the grounds live next door and they have access to the a house which was never ever disclose to us. So I message the owner he never answered me on this issue. So I had to put chairs under the doors knobs when we went to bed. When ask Kathy about this she said that the workers washer and dryer wasn’t good. I’m was like ok but they should ask or announce themselves before entering our vacation home that we paid for. Message the owner several times about the hot tube which is in the listing it didn’t work the whole time we was there and they finally sent someone out to fix it the last night we was there and we had to deal with workers coming in and out and noise after I had been asking for this to be fix all week. The shower is one of the rooms doesn’t drain correctly leaks on the floor. Kitchen sink faucet is about to fall apart and furniture has wholes all in it. Police showed up at the house and came around back unannounced saying they got a call for loud music when we wasn’t playing any music. We saw them watching us earlier that day when we was going out on the ATV’s. Come to find out from the local this house is known around the the island as the party house and is known to have wild parties. So no wonder the police showed up unannounced but they got a surprise no craziness going on. We went with this house because of the pictures and the size. Not all is bad the master suite is really nice. I would like what I pay for, safety, cleanlines, and communicate I didn’t get my money worth with this stay. Credits should be given for all the inconvenience

July 9-18. Our family of 8 made reservations last Fall to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday at Villa Tropical. Unfortunately he passed last November from Covid, but the family agreed to keep our plans and celebrate his birthday there on July 10. Javier made us a wonderful Latin barbecue the second night we were there and we celebrated his birthday. It was perfect and we highly recommend it, we had a long travel day the day before so it was great to not have to worry about dinner. The pool area was awesome, so refreshing and beautiful at night with the colored lights. We ordered through “groceriestogo” which was so helpful to have some groceries on hand until we got to the grocery store. It was a quick drive to the beach and Stellaris casino which was our favorite casino. We found the people in Aruba to be so kind. We had a few issues with the televisions and a little difficulty communicating with Javier due to the language barrier. However, Kathy Quijada, our welcoming host was helpful in translating. Several of us had a hot stone massage by Kathy, highly recommend her services! A few minutes away from the property there is a Do It Center. They have groceries, household items, etc; I would compare it to something like Walmart here in the US. All in all it was a great vacation and the family loved Aruba. I highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay with having a pool. The only thing was the pool was very dirty when we arrived and they did not clean it till half way through our stay. The master bed is VERY hard and the pillows were awful. the house manager didn't communicate with us at all during our stay. It is a very nice house but needs lots of updating with furniture and bedding. everything looked very worn.

The size of the house was perfect for the 9 of us. Everyone one had their own room/bed. The owner and his staff are very helpful. We cannot say enough kind words about them. We would recommend that everyone have Javier and Kathy prepare a BBQ one night , it was so much food we kind of wished we had done it earlier in the week because of all of the leftovers. Kathy was the best, she came to the house the first full day we were on the island and did the kids nails and the lady’s got hot stone massages. My wife has hand many massages over the last 5 years and she said this was the best one ever; hands down. We worked with Janine for our excursions and car rental.she was super helpful. She also gave us a tour of the island and the natural pool, during the tour she helped our 70 year old mother every step of the way. The house is nice but a little outdate and could use a little TLC. We loved the views from the hot tub overlooking the palm beach hotels, especially when the sun was setting. The swimming pool was nice we spent hours in it everyday and a lot of late nights too. We had an amazing 5 days in Aruba! The owner was so easy to work with and made sure we were taken care of while in Aruba. We visited as a family of six. You will need a rental car, but it’s great because you can explore different beaches and restaurants. The house is spacious and accommodating (the beds vary in comfort level), but honestly we spent all our time outside. We ate all our meals outside in the shade with the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. We loved the property wildlife: birds, roosters, lizards, cats. We enjoyed all the fun amenities: volleyball, pool, hot tub, billiards, ping pong, darts. The WiFi was excellent. The kitchen is well stocked. I highly recommend the yacht excursion with Captain Vic and his crew; they took us to an amazing snorkeling spot. Overall our visit was superb!

Absolutely blown away! Has everything you would need/ could get in a resort with the privacy of a home. Walking distance to a local restaurant Fermin’s, 5 minutes from the beach, couldn’t recommend this property more! We will be back.

I have stayed at two other villas on the island and both were fantastic. Villa Tropical is by far the best! You will not want to leave the tropical pool area. So relaxing, well maintained and private. A little piece of heaven in Aruba!

My stay here was soooooo awesome. The owner Kurt was extremely helpful and on top of everything we needed for our stay. The house is amazing and HUGE! The pool, volleyball court, jacuzzi, 2 amazing tiki bars, etc. We celebrated my birthday and it’s one of the best birthdays I’ve had. The staff was very hospitable, helpful and always available. Everything was wonderful and on point. I’ll definitely stay here on my next visit to Aruba. Thanks Kurt for everything!

Stay at this home! This property is simply amazing....from the pool, to the volleyball court, the outside spaces are simply breathtaking. This was my eleventh trip to Aruba and from this point on we will always choose to stay here! We had a group of 7 that stayed nearly two weeks and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. The caretaker, Javier, was a joy and also cooked us a delicious meal during our vacation. The owner, Kurt, is a gem and so easy to work with. Stay at this home...you won’t be disappointed!! We will definitely stay here every time we are on the island!

We rented this great house for a week! Our family of 10 definitely enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool, ping pong table, pool table, volleyball court, etc. we loved having 2 main outdoor eating areas. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and enjoy our stay. There are definitely some areas of upkeep that could/should be addressed. One of the guest rooms does not have any storage space and the shower was always cold. The sliding door out to the pool area was always sticking and very hard to open and close. The backyard fence needs to be fixed in many areas. Just basic yard upkeep and painting would help with overall appearance. The lid to the grill kept falling off, so an updated grill would be nice. The table closest to the house was very unstable and rickety. We loved having Javier and his friends close by. We would definitely recommend having them prepare a meal, it was amazing. They were great ATV tour guides around the island. The location of the house was great for us and we are definitely looking forward to staying at this location again in the future!
