Well equipped cottage, decorated and furnished to a high standard with very nice accessories - lovely super-thick bath towels. Great location in the heart of Lymington with pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops right on the doorstep yet remarkably quiet and peaceful even when the Saturday market was in full swing! Would definitely stay here again.

Cabin bed was a bit surprising, but we coped!

This is a small gripe but by no means a complaint, some form of nightlight on the stairs would be useful as the only light on the stairs lights up one end of the bedroom

A small fire would have made it cosier. Also there was some sort of extract fan possibly from hotel/restaurant next door, it came on about 7.30 in the morning and stayed on until about 9.00at night. Really irritating.

Very cozy and incredibly well thought out and designed and beautifully decorated with no signs of wear and tear. Everything needed was there and everything worked.

We hope we didn’t annoy neighbors but the toaster set the smoke alarm off repeatedly!

The bed bit too soft and not use of double bed ( preferences only ) could have done with a proper shower .

This property whilst small has everything you need and is so close to the town centre - no more than 20 yards and you are in the middle of the high street. A great find, will return

Super comfortable! I felt like was at home. Fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment, living room with a TV and bedroom upstairs. Sparkling clean. Crisp white bedsheets, matching decor, fluffy bath towels - absolutely luxurious feel. Great location and plenty of shops, Tesco across the street. The best accommodation I've ever stayed in.

Everything! Perfect location just off the High Street right in the centre, and a short walk down to the Quay for a morning coffee watching life drift by! Tesco Express right nearby for provisions - also Pizza and Fish & Chips for take-aways. The Blue Cottage was"small but perfectly formed", very clean and nice and airy. Good carpentry and decor, kitchen well-equipped, with Stoves cooker/oven, comfortable bed with good sheets and nice bathroom with luxury towels. Attractive small courtyard for al-fresco dining. A welcome boon was the free "Parking clock", giving you short- or long-stay free parking in most car-parks in the area.

Not a problem, but for people to be aware: the bed in the Blue cottage is "built-in", which means you can only access it from one side. Also, the bed is quite high, so is a slight climb-up for shorter people. Having said that, the bed is very comfortable. No private Car parking, but the free car park is just a short walk away and you can park in the High Street for loading/unloading (except for Saturday morning - Market day)

The bed was awkward to get onto

Perfect location, lovely little cottage. Bit bigger than we thought it would be actually. Super comfortable bed. We didn’t cook in the cottage but kitchen seemed to have everything that would be required. Lounge was cosy and comfortable. Walking distance to train station, the quay, all shops and places to eat, and to the Solent Path (as keen hikers this was perfect for us). Basically walking distance to all the town has to offer. Nicely finished inside, all very pleasant! Was a wonderful week away in a charming cottage. Don’t hesitate to book here if you’re lucky enough to find availability!

The toilet door lock was broken and the main light in the lounge wasn’t working - this didn’t bother us though, and I’m sure if we had of mentioned it, it would have been fixed anyway as Jane was extremely helpful prior to our arrival anyway.
