Muy privado, sin vecinos al sur por aproximadamente 2 millas y con vista bloqueada de las casas del norte, pero a una corta distancia a pie de los restaurantes populares. Renovaciones continuas. The property is WONDERFUL!!! Litterally 20' from the beach and in an amazing location in Kill Devil Hills. The welcome gift will bring back memories for years. We had an issue with food pickup / delivery timing and Vicki was so helpful and returned our communication almost immediately offering a quick solution that saved our first day. The house wa so clean and perfect for our needs. It reminded me of the beach house i would go to with my family when I was a kid which was a great trip down memory lane. Only issue we had was when lightning struck the beach immediately behind the house which knocked out the wifi for the duration of our stay but that turned out to be very fortuitous as it gave us a solid reason for not communicating with work and checking emails which is truly what a vacation should be. When that happened we informed Vickie and she worked dilligently to try to find solutions but we told her not to worry as it actually helped us unplug and just sit and watch to waves, engage each other verbally (I know, we actually talked...lol) and enjoy the beach and if we really needed to get on line we would just use our hotspots from our phones. I would truly recommend this home for a vacation and definitely any property that Vickie is involed with. Thanks for everything Vickie and remember, reach out when / if you plan a trip to Boston.

I have stayed here before. It was great then and it is great now. the owners are very nice and helpful when needed. The property was clean and ready for our fun in the sun. Very nice. You can't go wrong booking this property. Thanks for having us.

This was our second visit and it was every bit as wonderful as the first time. Unfortunately there were no dolphin sightings but that was the only disappointment and was nothing to do with the home. Due to outside temperatures we had to fuss with the thermostat quite a bit, Vickie was fantastic with responding to our inquiries.

Great oceanfront property! So convenient to town, but so private! Beautiful views from spacious deck, screened in porch, or inside house. Pelicans, gulls, dolphins... sand, shells, sun! This place is the BEST!

HipNautical is a wonderful property that is very well appointed with everything we needed. Vicki is a great host and quickly responded to any questions. There is nothing like staying right on the beach and waking to the sound of the waves. Although the weather during our stay was not what we had hoped, we still had a very relaxing visit. Thank you Vicki!!

This place has amazing outdoor space! We went during December, but I kept wishing it was summer or fall so I can just hang out either in the screened porch, back porch, or under the house to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The house is cozy with lots of thoughtful amenities, and the owner is kind and attentive. Very glad we came.

We needed a break after Christmas. We had never been to the Outer Banks. Our dogs lived walking on beach. Good restaurants. This beach house is right on the beach. Beautiful sun rise.

HipNautical was the perfect place to spend the week between Christmas and New Years! We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and disconnect for a few days. Vickie and Don's place was so comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy a much needed break. Our elderly doggo was so happy to spend the days on the deck overlooking the beach. And man, the views are so beautiful! We can't recommend this place enough.

We had a wonderful stay. Access to the property was seamless. Property was as described. The Host, Vickie was very prompt in responding to us regarding an issue. Issue was resolved. The beach access was awesome. Truly the best part of this stay was the deck & screened porch. We all spent many hours enjoying the sound of the ocean , watching the sunrises, dolphins and pelican "platoons". We had a most enjoyable time. Our family ranged in age from 18 to 88. Accommodations were satisfactory to all. Thank you gift was a lovely and most welcomed surprise. Amenities were great/beach towels/linens/kitchen ware etc.

The view is amazing. We sat on the deck watching the sunrise and saw dolphins on multiple days! Vickie and Don were very responsive and helpful, they are lovely to work with. The house was clean and very well stocked with cooking equipment, spices, dishes, utensils, extra towels, blankets, even some cleaning supplies. They also had board games and Netflix for off-beach time. The kids loved the screened porch. They even had couch covers for the doggie hang out area. Easy beach access and the beach was not crowded. Great stay, would recommend and return.

Vickie and Don, thank you so much for having us at your beach house. It is truly an amazing location and family perfect. We enjoyed having the beach as our backyard and being walking distance to many establishments. The house comes equipped with everything you need…basic spices, hand soap, towels and beach towels, linens, throw blankets, games and toys, dog dishes. Very well thought out for families traveling with kids and dogs. We loved it so much we booked two weeks for next year! Can’t wait to come back😊

Even tho the nor’easter was with me on this, my second trip to Hip Nautical, the time spent was perfect! Watching windsurfers every day right from the comfort of the 2nd living room with a huge oceanfront window was awesome, as well as watching regular surfers b4 the ocean got too rough. If it rains there are sooooo many games for kids with a big dining room to use as well and a new screened-in porch where they can play. They also provide Netflix, Disney and Hulu and I got to watch many, many movies during my stay. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. Linens provided is a definite plus. Another plus with my new rescue pup was going right out back on the HUGE deck and walking her down the steps onto the beach with beach access RIGHT next to the house. Views are phenomenal in both directions with no houses to your right and any to the left are blocked by the house. The house also blocks the winds on the deck to your left if coming from that direction. I can’t say enough about the location, view and amenities that await you. Looking forward to my next trip there and luckily I scored two more trips this year. Thank you Vickie and Don for sharing your wonderful home with all of us.

I was amazed and thrilled with this perfect beach house, It is even better than the pictures, because you can add breezes, ocean waves, birds, dolphins, and sunrises to the spectacular view. It's also in an excellent, central Outer Banks location for exploring, shopping, and sightseeing. Restaurants and pubs are very close, some you can walk to. And when you return home, there is that excellent deck and porch to enjoy. Many times it felt like I had the beach all to myself, the location is that good. Thanks so much, Vickie, for sharing your beautiful place.

This was a great getaway and our second time at this property. The property is in a fantastic location and is very well kept. Property owners are wonderful to work with and have added a lot of extras to make sure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back!

Great house literally on the beach . Big screened in porch and deck overlooking the Beach , also lots of windows - nice sunrise view. Well stocked kitchen , comfortable all around with everything you need. Nice to have Netflix etc on the TV - great communication with caring owner . Close to restaurants, supermarkets, etc . Lots of toys for grandbaby and water bowls for dog !

The house was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities
one would need. The deck looking out over the ocean was perfect for beautiful sunrises and spotting Dolphins. Our trip was blessed with great weather. The host were very nice, quick to respond to questions and left a welcoming gift. Overall, perfect.

Birthday balloons were a welcome sight for our youngest. The very quiet beach was a perfect place to play, relax and watch dolphins. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. The location couldn’t have been better for access to all OBX tourist attractions. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of seating. They even provided boogie boards and chairs for the beach. A lot of thought had gone into making our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Felt like royalty of the beach!
HipNautical was everything we hoped for for our first OBX vacation. Vickie was a delight to rent from and quick to help us with our questions. Being able to bring your pup on vacation narrows your availability, but this property was definitely the good life!! Steps from the beach, beautiful deck and covered porch, chilled and wonderful AC inside. We definitely felt like the royalty of the beach as we sat in our throne chairs on the deck, watching families haul their beach gear down the road and through the sand!! We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful home. Thank you!!

We have stayed at HipNautical twice and plan to stay again. Location is perfect, close to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Views are fabulous, love the deck. House was perfect for my husband, myself with our dog Val. Great location and the view was amazing! We saw dolphins and osprey every day. The house had everything we needed as well as food bowls for your furbaby! Also loved the puppy gate on the back deck. Highly recommend and we will be back 😊

The only disappointment was the lack of availability next year
The location is very central, the best lunch spot is less than a ten minute (albeit potentially worrisome due to car traffic) amble away. The driveway will comfortably accommodate two mid size SUVs, a third would require coordination. The house is extremely family friendly including dogs. Bowls for water and food were readily available. There are few grass areas but being on the ocean is worth it. The deck is very safe and secure for dolphin watching with your dog. Mine were fascinated by the things making their humans get so excited!
Most of the surrounding houses are also rentals so changeover days will have more traffic than during the week.
Overall it was the best rental we’ve ever booked and we look forward to our next chance to visit.

Unbelieveable
I would love to say that the place and owner are horrendous so that nobody ever books and I could book it solid FOREVER! The hostess and I texted frequently and I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She thanked me for letting her know that we made it SAFE! Who does that? The house is in the most perfect local ever and you need not leave because everything I thought I better take because NO VRBO ever has some thing, but this one did! When I did come in off the gorgeous deck, that is perfect for seeing the water and dolphins, I especially enjoyed the 1000 pc. lighthouse puzzle she had there. I can see why everyone would want to book multiple stays over and over again. I wanted to move in! It really was practically perfect in every way! What a find!

Beautiful Getaway - location can’t be beat!
We had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful spot for 3 nights in March 2022. The weather was a bit chilly for these days - and we would have been lost if it wasn’t for this house! Within steps, we were on the beach and able to soak up the sun, but could be back inside to warm up just as fast. We enjoyed the deck and watching people walk by. Listening to the waves was perfect!
The house was prepared with anything you could need! Charger ports in each room, beach towels and blankets aplenty, and a fully organized kitchen. We had everything we needed!
Host communication was superb - best I have had on any VRBO- if we come to the OBX again - we’ll be sure to stay here!

Perfect Vacation
We have stayed at many properties in the past several years, and have never enjoyed one as much as this one! So clean and well equipped....we lacked for nothing! We did take out everyday from a different local restaurant, and enjoyed ocean views from every table we chose to eat at that day at the house! Breakfast on the screen porch watching the sunrise. Countless walks on the beach, with a super comfortable bed to sleep in after a wonderful day. Highly recommend this property to anybody who wants to visit the Outer Banks!

The best location for a relaxing stay
Vickie was an exceptional host and provided a home like experience that was comfortable and so very relaxing. We wanted to return again next year but the property booked already so don't hesitate if considering booking as this is a very popular listing for many good reasons.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
What a great time at this wonderful home right on the beach! No homes to your right and privacy to your left. Vickie and Don were very responsive to questions and provided everything you needed in the home. Views of the ocean from everywhere in the house. Beautiful sunrises every morning with dolphins included and the 65 deg. Temps in Feb. did not disappoint! Screened in side porch is a benefit should it rain and you can still be outside watching the waves. Going back in April and cannot wait!

Everything we were looking for and more!
We love to come in the off-season to get away and enjoy the beauty. We found this gem was exactly as advertised....well maybe even better! Vickie and her husband have done a lot to make sure that you enjoy your stay! Very accommodating and such a charming place. Excellent location. The place is in great shape and extremely clean. Decor is beautiful. They provided a lot of little extras. Highly recommend!!
