We had an amazing time staying at Mike’s place. The location can’t be beat (you can walk to the beach and to downtown) and the space itself is great. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, in unit laundry, and a wonderful deck space where you can sit and see the ocean. Everyone in the building complex was so kind and friendly and also so respectful - we didn’t hear anyone making loud noise or anything. Mike is also very attentive and responsive. We didn’t really need anything while we stayed, but if we had, we know Mike would have seen to it. All in all, it was a lovely place to spend a very peaceful relaxing trip. We will be coming back for sure!

We stayed for 10 weeks over the winter. This condo was excellent with great views of the ocean. It had everything we needed and was a short walk to the bluff for sunsets, Torrey Pines beach, and into town for dinner. The owner was very responsive answering any questions we had. We are looking forward to staying next year.

We spent six weeks in this condo while I was receiving some medical treatment in the area. I would call it a "medical vacation". We had a fabulous time.When I was reviewing VRBO listings, I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of options. Thankfully we know the San Diego area well and we keyed in on the beach cities. Del Mar is the perfect choice. Not as overrun by tourists as La Jolla and the close in beach towns, but far more sophisticated than the northern beach cities (Solana Beach, Encinitas, etc.). Plenty of great restaurants, a beautiful public beach and reasonable traffic.This condo is in a newly remodeled complex that looks almost brand new except for the mature landscaping. It's located about a mile from the middle of the village (15th Street), so it's a long walk, despite what other reviewers mention. The complex is VERY quiet and we usually had the pool and gym all to ourselves. Parking is reserved and quite close to the unit. One space is underground, which helps keep the salt air off your car.Now for the condo. Very spacious, very clean, well furnished with more towels, linens and kitchen equipment than you could ever need. The outside deck is lovely in the evenings. There is a small "view" of the ocean, but this unit is definitely not "ocean front". Depending on the time of the year, you get some great sunsets from the deck and living room. For two to four people, you will not go wrong renting this unit.Now for the owner. Mike was most hospitable and went out of his way to accommodate our arrival and attend to a few minor issues we had (like I couldn't figure out how to turn on two of the TVs....turns out that the former tenant decided to unplug them when he departed!). Mike even rescued us one evening when we locked ourselves out, all without a complaint.My wife is already pushing me to book a month next year!

Our rental was experience was absolutely no hassle. The condo was just as we expected. Michael, the owner, was responsive and took extra effort to make certain everything was copacetic. Highly recommended.

We stayed in this apartment for three weeks while our daughter-in-law had cancer treatment at Scripps. Even though we were not there under the best of circumstances we enjoyed the convenience of the apartment, our beautiful walks on the cliffs and the close proximity to the hospital.

Had a wonderful time here, the condo was perfect and able to walk to great beaches and restaurants. Lots of parking which was nice, lovely sunsets from the balcony. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a month with my two dogs and loved it. The unit was clean, tastefully decorated and had most staples. Plenty of linens including beach towels. The condo buildings are off of a cul de sac and there's a beautiful, typically empty path towards the cliffs that I enjoyed walking with my dogs. The view from the unit is spectacular. The owner is incredibly helpful and available. I think my favorite thing was the friendliness of the neighbors in the condo unit and in the neighborhood - it was like being in a small town. All in all a great experience and I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 months and couldn't have been happier. This condo is perfect for entertaining, plenty of space, comfortable, quiet, and we loved being able to see the sunset from the living room and deck. Location is great for hikes to Torrey Pines as well as walkable to the main area of Del Mar. Parking for visitors was so helpful. And the pool was perfect for chillier days that we didn't want to stay at the beach. The owner was accessible and very helpful.

We stayed in this condo for six weeks. It has the amenities of home. A well-supplied kitchen, nice size room with large TV and seating for at least 10. There are also TV's in each bedroom. Has a nice porch to have your morning coffee and look at the ocean or watch the sunset. All the windows have automated shades. We liked the location as it was only about 20 minutes from our daughter and her family as well as the downtown or malls were close. You would enjoy the small workout area, the hot tub and pool as well as the use of grills on the property. We also enjoyed the private garage space parking under the tennis courts above. Michael was a great owner and very responsive when we had a question or as in our case, the dishwasher needed repair. I would recommend this property to anyone and we would definitely stay again. We returned for our second September in this "homey" condo. First thing we noticed were all the nice upgrades the owner completed in the last year. This condo is very well managed and stocked with everything you can think of in the kitchen. Not to mention the supply of towels and bed linens. We truly feel right at home, thanks to a terrific and caring owner.

This Condo has everything you need, along with a very nice ocean view. An easy walk into the downtown area of Del Mar and local beaches. On the property there is a large swimming pool, gym, and BBQ's.

We spent the month of July here. The owner is fantastic and helpful. The condo is perfectly stocked and has a wonderful view and cross-breeze. We particularly enjoyed the complex pool and the condo location. Quiet location - yet close to the oceanfront and a pleasant neighborhood walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. If we can, we'll be back. Thanks again.

Perfect location, beautiful condo and welcoming owner made this beach rental a hassle-free and laid-back vacation. In a quiet, charming neighborhood in Del Mar, with easy walking access to restaurants, village of Del Mar, shopping and beach. The ocean view condo is bright, nicely decorated and was recently renovated. Ample linens, beach towels, large-screen TVs, and an extremely well stocked kitchen with all the gourmet appliances are provided. There are 2 parking spaces and room for guests. Michael (the owner) is accessible and a real pleasure to to work with -- very accommodating, and ensured everything was just perfect. The key-less entry is a plus! Two minutes to the beach path for morning walks or to watch the sunsets. The condo complex landscaping is lush and beautifully maintained, with access to pool, grills, workout room and tennis courts. Really a lovely place, can't wait to return.

The attention to detail, and warmth of this place from the first moment we drove up made it all worth it. The place is beautifully decorated, as if I was upgrading my own home, with large screen TV's in all room, new beautiful tile, everything you could possibly want in the kitchen, bathroom items galore, washer/dryer, everything! The view is spectacular, right on the cliffs, you feel like your driving into a wall of water just driving down the street to reach the complex! Sitting out on the deck overlooking the water is priceless; wonderful walks along the cliffs! This is the best place I have ever stayed at on VRBO. You wont be disappointed. Owner was extremely courteous. helpful, and available to any need/question we had. I wish we could have stayed here forever!

We stayed here Sept. - Oct. 2015 and felt right at home! The kitchen is top notch! And the location so nice and quiet! The owner could not have been more accommodating to our every need and was so pleasant whenever we spoke. It is such a nice neighborhood to enjoy walks...especially beautiful walking along the bluff. Nice to be situated a slight distance from the center of busy Del Mar!

The owner was very accommodating with our constantly changing schedule. The first thing you notice is the view of the ocean from the living room kitchen and patio, and the sea salt in the air. Next, how clean the place is. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen, and there is a washer and dryer. Quick walk to cliffs, and short jog to Torrey trails.

My husband, 2 children and I had a lovely stay in this condo. The beach was hard to access from this location but it's a short drive to get to the closest Park that has access to the beach. Great area to walk around and loved Torrey Pines! Very quiet area and not congested with traffic. The owner was super responsive and the modern kitchen is stocked for a family of 16! We didn't get to enjoy the pool (too cold) but did play some tennis. Lots of things to do in Del Mar and San Diego and all close by. We can't wait to go back -- or live there!?
