Perfect home for big group. Loved staying here.

Wonderful location. Clean house.

The house was very lovely… neat and clean. Location was great for getting to the beach quickly but be prepared for a VERY small and crowded designated beach area. The house description on line was not the same as the info sent to us from rental company. On line had 3 designated parking spaces and check in time was 3:00. Info sent to us from rental company was 2 parking spaces and 4:00 check in.. we also had an issue with our tv that we reported that i never heard back from. Other than that it was a great trip and the location is walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

This house was clean, really nicely decorated, cozy & just as shown in the pictures. The kids loved the rooftop hammocks. It was a great place to stay for our family of older teens on spring break- they loved biking around to nearby ice cream, shopping, meeting up with friends & going to the beach. The area overall was less of a good fit for our younger child (over the spring break time frame) due to the huge number of teens & college kids everywhere. The location is very close to everything you could need- we only used our car once & could walk or bike to everything (aside from a shipt order of groceries). The only reason I would not recommend this location would be for a family with young children on spring break, as there are a million older teens biking around and the activities and language are frequently not appropriate for young kids. It’s also very difficult to get beach space or any kind of restaurant reservation or even carry out food or coffee at this time of year and lastly, the big beautiful seacrest pool is not heated, so it was ice cold at this time of year, so that was a bit of a disappointment . Older teens don’t seem to mind these things because they love biking around & socializing. Again, the property itself was great. Our only issue with the property itself was we could not get anyone to answer our emails or return our calls several times when we attempted to extend our stay even well before leaving.

Driftwood Cottage is a lovely home away from home. It’s in a nice location with easy proximity to the beach and pool. The beach for seacrest community is very limited and was jammed up and not what we expected so we spent most of our time at the pool. The courtyard is a plus and a really nice feature. The house is spacious and has various places to gather as well as to have your quiet space. It could use a little refreshing to get a totally 5star rating. Master bedroom mattress is soft and has “sleep divets”, the washer did not work properly and wouldn’t spin out the clothes so we came home with a weeks worth of dirty laundry and towels. We did call maintenance and they replied they’d be by to check it, but we never saw them. The kitchen is adequate for rental but by no means luxurious if that’s important to you. We would stay there again but would hope to see a few of these features refreshed as they are able. All in all it’s a nice home. It’s the end of summer and I imagine it’s had heavy use the last few months and needs a little TLC.

Clean house and great location. It will be great if the company is more responsive then it will be perfect. It was difficult to get hold of anyone through the phone. Like I said, the place is great but needs to work on communication.

Loved everything! Walking distance to Rosemary and Aly’s Beach! Only thing is there is not much room on the beach!

Great location proximity to pool and beach super easy. House comfortable - beds good. Could use some updating in kitchen and bathrooms, but great for the price. Overall we had a great time!

This property was in a great location. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minutes to shops. The house was clean and spacious. When you walk in it’s in the living room then dining room And kitchen. Next is a bedroom. You get to the back patio from there. It backs right up to 30A. The second level has the master with the trundle bed. The other bedroom in the floor is just one bed. Third level is a living room with a pull out couch and a chair. The chair is not something you can really sleep on and doesn’t even come with bedding. It was really unfortunate bc our group was 13 and that was the 13th spot. We had to end up sleeping 3 in the king bed. The pull outs are pretty uncomfortable as well. The mattress upstairs was old and stained and very thin. Just as a heads up a couple things we were not prepared for. The house does not provide anything for the beach including beach towels and you aren’t supposed to take any towels there. They don’t provide any extra towels or bedding and the pull outs only come with thin blankets. There was only one trash bag provided. Not laundry soap. No spices or oil or salt and pepper. Not a lot of toilet paper or extra paper towels. I think there was only 2 towels for the kitchen and one we had to use for the leaky freezer. Another heads up is you can’t contact the management company through VRBO. I never got any info from them until I was charged the second time. I had been trying to contact them through the VRBO app but they don’t get those you have to call them. There are beach credits but just a heads up it doesn’t cover it all. And you have to book well in advance. Last bit of info the beach access is right across the street. We had no idea how to get there and it looks like you have to go through a private area bc the gates for cars. You can use the walkway with your band on. We were super frustrated at the lack of info we had been given so hopefully this helps. I hate to say anything bad bc this house is great but I would have wanted to know these things ahead of time.

We enjoyed our week at Driftwood Cottage. Its location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or the pool, the decor is beautiful, and there is plenty of room to spread out, even for two families!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed staying at Driftwood Cottage. The home was clean and comfortable and suited our family of 5 perfectly. The best thing about the property is the location......right across the street from the pool and the entrance to the beach. Also, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. So convenient and stress-free. I definitely recommend this home!

Excellent location to beach, pool, and town activities

The property was in a perfect location. Close to the pool, beach, and main town. The house was adorable and well-maintained. I’d go back tomorrow if I could!

Cute, comfortable, great location, and everything was in good shape. We enjoyed our visit very much. Our air conditioner froze Saturday and the repair man was out quickly and we stayed nice and cool. Rental company was easy to reach. All good.

Good location to pool, and beach. The beach was extremely small for the number of houses and very crowded. The number of permanent umbrellas and chairs took up so much of the Seacrest Beach that there is not much room to set up the umbrellas and chairs ordered with my rental. Bring your own paper products, trash bags and necessities. Very nice house and the hammock chairs were so relaxing as was the back yard.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is gorgeous, beautifully furnished and is perfectly sited to take full advantage of the pool and beach access. We did have a couple hiccups upon checking in, items left behind or not working properly. I promptly sent an email indicating these issues, as requested, then received a voicemail the next day asking to text the issues. I resent in text what I had already emailed, but heard no response. Communication could be improved, but this was minor in the scheme of it all. The area is fantastic, the decor is amazing - felt like we stepped into a Serena and lily catalog and it was the perfect getaway. The pool area rivals those of 5star resorts. The only issue re: the pool that confused us was the hours are 9am to 9:45 pm; however, you can’t go into the pool until a fountain turns on (I believe this was sometime between 11-12). Our kids were old enough to roll with it, but younger children might have a harder time waiting. If you’re considering this home for your stay... do it, you will not be disappointed! We went to Amici’s & Amigos for dinner 3xs during our stay.. fantastic food. Also took a short trip to the food trucks in 30a.. the frozen rose was fantastic & the food was wonderful there as well. Took a day trip to Destin, it doesn’t compare & wouldn’t waste time doing that in the future. Thank you for a spectacular week!

We loved the location and home, but it was so difficult to get in touch with anyone from Best Beach vacations.Once checked in I called, emailed and left messages with questions and No one returned my messages the entire trip. We also found dirty underwear in the drawer I would rent the house again but I just wish the communication with the property managers was better

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom situation worked out perfectly for my husband and I and our 3 children (ages 15, 12, and 10). Fantastic proximity to 30A and the beach. We used the included beach gear allowance to rent bikes, and had a great time riding all around Seacrest, Rosemary, and Alys Beach! Even rode all the way down to The Hub one morning. My only "complaint" about the home was that the master bed was a bit too soft for us. May not bother others unless you also prefer a firmer mattress :o) The neighborhood pool is absolutely beautiful, but as always, too cold to actually swim in :o( Great lounging area, but way too cold for swimming (in Oct).

We had a great vacation staying at the house! It’s a perfect size and perfect location to the pool and beach. We already booked fall break next year!

The house was a fantastic location, thank you for letting us rent! We wished a few things were more clean. Several lights were out in the house and there were cigarettes and a lighter left on top of the refrigerator. We had a lovely week in Seacrest! Would definitely come back to the Seacrest area!

It was great

Couldn’t have asked for a better house. My father has difficulty with stairs and there are no stairs to the entry of the house. Back patio made for fun evenings and the house is very convienently located. We did have to clean before unpacking after a long trip. With paying such high rates for cleaning I expected the house to be ready upon arrival.

I would like to leave a review for others that are looking for a great beach rental and feel confused by all of the options. I spent hours upon hours looking for the perfect rental for our beach trip. I don't consider myself an overly picky person, but it is was our one big trip for the year and I wanted our money to be well spent. I definitely feel like we got what we paid for at this house. The location was perfect. It backed to 30A, and it was one of the only houses that had an enclosed patio. That made it very relaxing because we had a toddler and it was great being outside and not having to worry about the road. The beach access was extremely easy based on the location of the house. There were 5 of us and I never felt like getting to the beach was a problem. There is a tram available, but we never used it since we were so close. Second, it was decorated so so so cute!! I know that's not a big deal for everyone. But, it was so cozy and comfortable!!! It was very clean, inviting, had all of the amenities. They had fun games, movies, and the beach gear credit was an added bonus. We used it for a couple of beach chairs, an umbrella, and a couple of bikes. The company had the stuff waiting onus when we arrived and they picked it up on departure day. I honestly don't have a single complaint. It was a perfect rental and we walked away with happy and fond memories that will be cherished forever. Thank you!!!

Perfect location and excellent home!

We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a short walk to the amazing pool & a short tram ride to the beach.

Overall the property was awesome!! Cute, well decorated, and comfortable. Access to the beach is close by and easy to get to! While the house was clean, the house cleaning company could pay better attention to details (dusting and cleaning showers (used soaps were left in one bathroom)). Despite this I would stay here again!

The location of the property could not have been better for us. We were a short walk from the beautiful pool and just across the street from the beach access. It was a three minute walk to Peddler's Square and all of the options there.

We had a wonderful stay with such splendid accommodations. The home was set up perfectly for comfort and ease, and beautifully decorated.

This vacation rental was perfect location. 5 minute walk to beach, peddlers pavilion and the Seacrest pool. The house was very clean and nice with a wonderful courtyard for grilling out and kids to play!
