My wife and I stayed with our boys, 5 and 8, and it was perfect. We went out to the Silver Lake Dunes one day, and Michigan's Adventure theme park was only a 10 minute drive away. The kids liked playing at the beach, which was very clean. We used the paddle boat to go check out the island and we used the kayaks as well. You can tell that the owners put a lot of time into this place and it really shows. 10/10 we will be back.

location was absolutely perfect, the size of the home was good for 3 or 4 which is what was in our group. many things were supplied that were very helpful

This place was perfect for our family of four. It was a last minute getaway and we couldn't beat the price! The kids loved the loft area and claimed the upstairs for themselves. We got a lot of use out of the paddleboat and kayaks. The amount of boardgames available was great too! We would definitely stay here again! It was nice meeting you both on our way out.

The views from the deck almost make the driving you have to do worthwhile, as the property is a little remote. Visitors on either side were quiet and everyone respected other's privacy. The one complaint would be the water treatment system. It needs an update to address the quality of the well water it uses.

This was a perfect spot for a girls trip. We loved being able to paddle boat and kayak on the lake. The deck was the best place to have coffee and tea in the mornings. The couple of questions we had upon checking in were answered very quickly. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Very peaceful. Our group would definitely love to stay here again.

Had a great time! The lakefront was perfect! Sandy and shallow/deep enough to enjoy all sorts of activities! My girls enjoyed the easy access to check out the island. They loved the use of the kayaks, paddle board, and pedal pontoon. My older daughter loved the loft! House was cozy and comfortable. LOVED eating outside as often as we could! Would definitely come back!

Great place for a family vacation mostly because you are far from typical City life and super close to several Lake Michigan beaches and trails to explore for the day; then come back to cabin for BBQing and swimming/kayaking and paddling around the lake until it is S'mores time around the fire pit. Price cannot be beat, soooo happy we found something affordable cause most stuff is way too expensive for a family to enjoy.

This cottage is a gem! I fell in love with this lake when i stayed at this exact cottage a couple years ago. The house is uniquely set up with a loft. The cottage is stocked and has everything you need and they have kayaks and a paddleboard for use. The lake is shallow a ways out wich is noce. There is an island on the lake the kids love exploring. We definitely hope to be back!!

Perfect lake house for family fun. Unique use of space with a fun loft for the kids. Kayaks and paddle boat were included and enjoyed. Clean, shallow lake for kids. Shopping, restaurants and activities were all close by. Looking forward to coming back next summer.

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The kids loved the beach. The lake is shallow to way past the dock which made it safer for the kids. The deluxe paddle boat was a bonus! Well stocked and very cute cottage.

Enjoyed using kayaks and paddleboard. Very clean and shallow lake. The Heron that visited on the dock every evening was a nice touch!

House and property were exactly as advertised. Great deck with a perfect lake view and access for swimming, paddle boating, and kayaking. Excellent location close to fun options for the family.

Swimming and lake are great, nice sandy bottom. Cottage beds are kinda weird, but made due for a week. Neighbors on both sides are very close. Has two decks that was nice.

This is our second summer at this rental. Love the loft sleeping for our little ones. The beautiful lake, kayaks, and paddleboard were all perks to our stay. The beachfront location, clear, sandy shallow water was perfect for our kids. The owner is very attentive and helpful. We had a great stay!

The bungalow was just adorable and had everything we needed. Was within easy drive to Grand Haven and Muskegon. Lovedthe kayaks that we used in the early morning when the lake was smooth and soo quiet!!

My husband and I loved the house and property! The house was very clean, well maintained and stocked with the basics. It was wonderful sitting on the deck staring out into the lake and the sunsets were amazing! There is plenty to do in Muskegon, Whitehall and Montague. We went sightseeing every day and never ran out of things to do. Manuel and Veronica are very good property managers. They were very responsive to our questions before we arrived and the check-in instructions and process was very easy. We will definitely go back there again!

We had a good time swimming, fishing and kayaking around the Lake. We had a fire and made s’mores! It’s a cozy cottage for our small family and we will stay again hopefully.

Another great week with family at Twin Lake! The house is small, but mighty and serves my needs well. Lots of time spent on the deck just enjoying the lake view.

The stay at this cabin was great and relaxing. The cabin was cozy and just the right size. The available amenities of the kayaks and paddle board and boat were great. It was also nice to have the washer and dryer available onsite.

The cottage has a great beach house feel and is perfect for families with kids. My kids loved the loft sleeping and the 3 levels have enough space for each of them. I loved the beautiful view of the lake that is really clear and shallow. My family loved the use of the kayaks, paddle board; and paddle boat. The fishing is great and my kiddo caught a giant bass! Thank you to our hosts! It was a wonderful vacation!

House was perfect for the two of us, enjoyed our stay, but we were unable to put our boat in the water due to the water level at the dock being so low.

The cottage is pleasant and offers most of the basic necessities needed for a nice stay.. There are two cottages on either side with a sidewalk between on either side. The environment was good but if you want to be outside and experience privacy that could be not an easy thing to achieve. The property owner was very good to deal with and most helpful. The only real issue we had was where we slept. There is a nice bed in a narrow to get area. If two people sleep there and the one on the right needs to get up in the night they would need to somewhat crawl over the the person on their left. We chose to sleep on the sofa in the living room. the sofa has a pull-out trundle type bed. They were comfortable , but nearing 73 for both of us, not exactly what we preferred. I would not have any problem returning to this site again. I don't think my wife feels the same.

This cottage is perfect for a family looking for a relaxing getaway from reality with a clean well kept home with everything you need! The owners are great people and do a outstanding job taking care of this property. The lake is perfect, clean, not to big, not to small. Nice dock, paddle boat, jon boat, and 2 kayaks to enjoy along with a nice fire pit right by the lake and geargous views from the deck and sliding glass doors overlooking the lake! We will definitely be back! Perfect for a small family with children or anyone looking to escape reality! Rental had everything we needed, the baby gates for the stairs were a lifesaver. Perfect place for our kids to enjoy the beach and water. We had a wonderful stay. I thought the loft would be a lot of work getting up and down at night to use the bathroom and check on my kids, but it wasn’t so bad even at almost 8 months pregnant.

We had such a lovely time here. My niece and daughter said they would love to come again! The cottage was clean. There was plenty to do. One of the days some friends came up to have dinner with us and it has a double deck in the back so plenty of room for everyone! We brought kayaks and they had two there also, plus a stand up paddle board.
