A beautiful period property with a wonderful garden and charming hostess.

Unusual 275 year old family house where you are treated as a guest not client. Huge, comfortable bedroom with everything needed. Meals are home cooked, very traditional French family food and eaten "en famille" all at the same table and at the same time. Hostess is charming, friendly and has good English.

The host was extremely attentive. The big news was the almost passionate promotion of local produce - from glassware to every form of food and drink. The dinner was a single choice meal which felt vey homely. The host ate with us. There was a large area down to the river to exercise the dog off the lead.
It did feel like we were staying in a rural grocers shop but it was none of the worse for that. Other than that, nothing.

Beautiful house with a lot of charm.
We appreciate this ancient and traditional family house from 18 century.
We enjoyed the delicious home made dinner with local fresh und tasty ingredients. Dinning at the table with the owner and talking with her was a pleasure.
She knows well her region and likes to share about local sightseeing and food specialities.
We want to come back soon.
Every thing was perfect.
There is an amazing fire place in the dining room. It would be even more like in a fairy tale if fire would be there during Dinner and breakfast.

The communication with the property was very efficient. Dinner was offered and it was fantastic! Also having diner with the other guests and host and being able to exchange travel experiences made the event very comfortable. Delicious food and breakfast. Very friendly host.
