Excelente ubicación. Excelente trato. Muy limpio y ordenado. Todo lo necesario para pasarla bien en un hostal en las faldas de la montaña de El Valle. Buena cocina. Sala de esparcimiento comoda y agradable. Full recomendado. Y respeta la ley del desc de 3ra edad.

The host (Adiel) is super kind, he has a really sweet dog that doesnt bark and the rooms are clean. Adiel let us use his bikes and gave us a ride to the bus station when we left. It's located next to a nice trail.
It's not luxurious but definately clean and nice. And It's a little bit further from town, but with the bikes and even walking really doable.

We found a true Home away from home and Ariel became a friend. He helped us a lot. He created a calm and a beautiful spot with the Casita Don Daniel. It's unique. We plan to come back and would highly recommend a stay at this place. Good located at hiking spots, shops close by. Bikes available and comfy Hammocks. And there is a very lovely cat in the nice garden area, which we already miss a lot. Thank you Ariel!

Everything was amazing. The best hostel we stayed in, in Panama. It was really close to a trail called camina India Dormida. There is an option of borrowing a bike for free so you can go to the center. Mr Daniel was very sweet and super helpful. Overall atmosphere felt like home, there are books you can borrow, nice background music also there was a guitar and a piano that you can play. Beautiful interior and outside as well. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. There is also a shop nearby (a few meters). We cannot express how amazing our experience was. Thank you!

The place is amazing and Ariel the host the best. He does everything he can to make you feel at home even sharing is home. We loved the music instruments and art everywhere. Even playing music on our last evening together.

Ariel is a very great guy and made us really feel welcome. He always is willing to help, even if you don't ask. The hostel has nice shared areas such as the kichen, living room and a garden with hammocks. We loved our stay in this hostel and this town! There are beautiful hikes nearby as well.

Ariel is a great host, super friendly and helpful. Probably the nicest host we had in Panama. We travelled as a family with two younger kids and there was enough space for them to play and even some toys.

Great stay at Ariel's place! So much generosity, warm, calm and open hearted atmosphere. Our daughter loved the dog and the cat, but also the tods and the geckos 😁. Muchas gracias Ariel, esperemos regresar a verte en dos semanas 🤗!

Our stay here was amazing! Ariel is the best host and if felt like we were staying with family. He had bikes for us to use and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere and vibe is so relaxing, one day we just spent the whole day at the hostel because we loved it so much. We even extended our stay and extra night.
The only downside for us was that the wifi didn’t extend to the rooms and the shower water wasn’t completely warm, more like lukewarm.

We enjoyed spending time in the common space. Access to the kitchen and bicycles was great. The host Ariel was very welcoming and engaging. He took the time to chat we us, give us suggestions of things to do, shared some of his food and drinks with us. His musical talents were amazing!

The hosts are a family who make you feel very welcome. We settled in well in a friendly environment. The location is great close to nature. The property has a garden with trees and hammocks. There is a small river right next to it.

Ariel and Jeannie were fabulous hosts, we really felt like home. They were both very helpful in organizing our hikes in El Valle. We were invited to play music with them and the massage was really relaxing. There were several bikes, which we could use for free. Last but not least they are really generous people.

Ariel (who owns and runs La Casita de Don Daniel) is much more than a host - we felt like a part of his family from the beginning of our stay. He helped us with everything and did much more than we expected. No matter how late or early it was he gave us a shuttle service to different locations, provided us with many informations about what to do during the days and we especially loved the jam session night with his friends where he invited us to. There are also two bicycles free to use. If we ever come back to El Valle we'd definitely stay with him again!

It has a good vibe to it. Ariel's hospitality is unique. Great localization, close proximity to La India Dormida trail is an asset. On top of that a guide dog will show you a way right to the peak!
