Tropical storm Debby tried to put a damper on our vacation but all in all we had great time..

It is a nice property and location is great. However, it needs maintenance. Two showers were terrible one did not work. One door to a bedroom would not close(this was fixed after we called. Pool lights did not work (one fixed after we called. Couldn’t get the grill to work (error code 8 what ever that is). Found ants in one bedroom. One master bathroom has no closer - strange where should you put your clothes? One closet door was off track. The door to the screened in porch is so hard to open/close some in our party could not use it. The screen on this door is installed backwards.
For the price paid just felt that it should have been in better condition.

Great size and excellent location to the beach! The kitchen was well equipped for family meal preps and there was seating for all. The pool and bunk room were big hits, as well.
One suggestion: it would be nice to have a closet available in the upstairs master. Both were locked.
Would highly recommend this property for families!

We had 12 of us in our 3 familes that included 6 kids and 6 adults. Everyone had their own space and we enjoyed the heated pool and quick walk to the beach everyday. We hired a photography to do family pictures on the beach and they turned out great! We will be back and highly recommend this place to stay at!

This property is great for a large group. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather and also have some time to themselves. The neighborhood is peaceful. Easy access to the beach and a short walk or bike ride to the shops and restaurants.

Stayed here from 10/4 to 10/8 with 7 other guys for a golf trip. House was clean. We hosted a bbq at the house where a service came in and cooked for us and there was ample space and everyone was comfortable inside and outside the house. Each room was equipped with plenty of towels and soap/Shampoo. Plenty of bathrooms and could easily sleep 8. Recommend this house.

My family had a wonderful time in this home. It had a well stocked kitchen and basic supplies that helped us manage things until we could stock up. The large dining table and sofa proved very helpful in facilitating family time. We also relished that it was a short walk to the beach.
There were a few minor glitches but management attended them promptly. All in all, a good time was had by all.

We loved the property and the location. It was a three minute walk to the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us in the house. The pool was fantastic. There were some minor problems such as the sliding glass door sticking and not opening all the way and an upstairs window that seemed to be stuck ajar. They were notified of the issues and hopefully they will be resolved. We would definitely stay in this property again.

We had a great time while staying at the vacation home in Hilton Head. It was about a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute walk to Coligny Beach with lots of shopping and.. ice cream! A must while on vacation. The house was amazing! Spacious and clean. And the private pool was clean, warm and inviting. We all LOVED our stay. We will certainly return to Hilton Head and hope the house will be available next time! THANKS!

Your home was perfect for our family vacation! It was a treat that every bedroom had its own bathroom! The kitchen was well stocked with tableware, and cooking & baking pans. We always had plenty of seating with your expansive breakfast bar and large dinning table set.
Loved that we were just a few steps to the beach path!
My family enjoyed the pool everyday and the grandkids loved the mini golf set up in the basement!
We will be back next year!

This house is stunning. So clean, very safe and honestly is much nicer in-person than it is online. My whole group commented all week how it exceeded our expectations.
But, all of that was ruined on our last night! We never cooked on the stove at home until the last night when we were supposed to have a chef come in-house and cater a meal. People: the stove did not work. The gas stove produced no gas so we couldn't even light it with a lighter! When I called the property, I got a customer service rep who tried her best (no shame to her at all) to get in touch with a maintenance person. After getting no updates for an hour, I texted the number and asked if there were any updates; she said no, nobody would be coming until the next day and she was sorry.
After getting no response from the manager directly over email, our caterer tries to pivot and use the grill to boil pasta, fry shrimp, roast vegetables, etc. After literally 10 minutes - the propane ran out. This wouldn't be such a big deal if I hadn't explicitly asked the property manager, Meredith, 2 weeks before if there would be a full propane tank. She had said yes! Well, obviously not! So, we had to go out and buy a new propane tank. I emailed the property manager Saturday night about our problems and it is now Wednesday and I have not heard anything back :)
I want to clarify that I'm a very understanding person, I get that stuff happens sometimes! But, for the manager to not even TRY to fix the situation or offer a solution for a home we paid over $3,000 to rent is literally ridiculous. Our awesome trip was ruined by our last night which sucks, but what can you do when the manager obviously doesn't care at all? Really disappointing experience for a beautiful home that costs $700+/night.

We had a great week at this house. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the pool is amazing for an afternoon dip! There are loads of pool toys/floats in the garage. We took a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs, as someone else suggested in their review. Our only suggestions are the mattresses could be upgraded and a second refrigerator would be ideal for a larger group. Overall great house and great location!

Very spacious for our family of 10. Location great - very close to beautiful beach, and near Coligny, but just far enough away from the crowd. Would recommend this house for a beach vacation.

Great Vacation Rental! Perfect Location!
We recently booked this house with friends. Our group included a total of 4 children ages 3, 2, 1 and 5 months. The location of this house itself is a reason to book it! We were steps from the beach, which made it easy to haul our children and beach gear as well as to walk back if we happened to forget something. It is also very close to Coligny Square, which has a lot of shopping and dining options. The house is very spacious and the pool was great. Just an FYI to other families we stayed in the middle of May (temperature was in the 80's all week) and did not need to heat the pool. It was very comfortable for the children and adults. I would say if you are traveling with young children you may want to consider bringing a baby gate for the staircase. We did have a couple of minor maintenance issues when we first checked in, but they were fortunately simple fixes. The property managers were very quick to respond to our communications! I would definitely stay at this house again.

Fantastic property steps from the beach. Came down for a beach and golf trip with a group of friends and this house was perfect for us. It slept 11 comfortably, and the house was well-stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This home is huge! Excellent kitchen space, 6 bedroom with private baths! Literally steps from the water! Lovely pool!
Some beds could be updated for comfort, and the dishwasher should be replaced. Otherwise, wonderful!

Reunion with friends
We, and our friends from California and Virginia, enjoyed our stay at this lovely, large, well-furnished house a stone's throw from the beach. We were very appreciative of the early check-in, making it possible to move from a nearby resort to the house without having to wait for hours! The pool was clean and nice. We highly recommend this rental.

Fit our needs
We traveled with 3 families- 6 adults and 8 children ages 2-9, and Bella Luce fit our needs. Being so close to the beach was great, and the screened in porch was a nice touch as we were able to still be “outside” during inclement weather. Plenty of space for everyone in the house and around/ in the pool as well.

Great location
This property was even more impressive than we thought it would be. The pictures don’t even do it justice. It is also a perfect spot so close to the beach and right by all the shops and restaurants at Coligny. We would definitely stay again!

Nice with some issues
Overall the house fit our needs. There were some annoying issues that I didn't expect from a property in this price range. Pros were;
- location to beach, Coligny
- plenty of room for people to have their own space
Cons were;
- sliding door to screen porch was difficult to open/close
- microwave had issues (counter replacement was delivered promptly though)
- beach shower drain was clogged so you washed sand off in dirty water next to trash cans
- grill ran out of propane last day, would be nice to have an extra sitting nearby for quick changing
- 1st floor very cold and could not find a way to adjust

Family vacation
The house worked out great. Plenty of space for family and close to the beach. Nice pool and grill. My only concern was the front door did not have a lock from the inside. My 3 year old granddaughter could get out easily an into the pool and she can't swim so a major concern. We ended up blocking the front door with a chair and using the side slider to enter and exit because it did have a lock from the inside. Other than that, great place.

Great location
Overall the place was great. We did have a problem with mice but management responded right away. On Tuesday night, one of our vehicles was broken into and 3 guns were taken. Local police responded right away Wednesday morning when the theft was discovered.

Wonderful Vacation House
This property was great for our family. Loved having the pool and beach access so close. It was also great having 6 bedrooms with their own baths! A few items need to be repaired but they are minor.

Great Location needs updated
We love the location of this house, but were disappointed this year with the cleanliness and general up keep of the house. There were a lot of issues during our stay where we had to reach out to the property manager to get them fixed. The property manager was quick to respond, but when you are away from home you don't want to have to deal with house issues.

Great shaded pool
Close to the beach. Pool has great shade. Two huge masters. Good kitchen that is better supplied than any other I’ve used. Lots of different seating area inside and out.

Great location, but house needs some work
We just completed our stay in June, 2020. The location of the house is perfect, just steps to the beach. Kitchen and Living area were very nice, but the outside, garage/put put area, screened in porch need a LOT of cleaning. The zero gravity chairs on the pool deck were so dirty, that we couldn't use them at all. We were looking forward to enjoying our morning coffee on the screened in porch, but it was very dirty and had spider webs. The floor was so dirty that you were hesitant to walk in your bare feet. The outside of the house and around the pool needs a good power-washing or fresh coat of paint. The house was advertised on VRBO with a "hot tub", but there is NO HOT TUB. There is only a spa within the pool and it isn't heated unless you pay to heat the pool. The property Mgmt company was not very helpful when we questioned this. I had a screen shot showing that they advertised a "Hot Tub". This was very misleading. The burners on the stove weren't working and we couldn't use the stove until Tues when they sent someone over who found that the gas was turned off on the exterior. I also asked the Mgmt person who came to the house to have someone clean the screened in porch and replace the ripped pool skimmer. They said they would take care of both, but never did the entire week. I sent 2 messages to the property Mgmt company prior to arriving to ask for pictures of the putt-putt area, but never received a response. It's located in the garage and we never ended up using this area because it was also quite dirty. Overall, given the issues we encountered, the house wasn't worth the amount we paid. I will not stay here again and will not rent a house from the same property Mgmt company.

Great Family Vacation Home
Great location, the home was everything the listing showed and stated. House was clean and they cleaned the pool before and during the stay. Overall great experience and I'd rent this home again. Only complaint is it was hard to get a hold of anyone at the property company prior to getting there and during. Emails, form submissions and voicemails went un-returned with is frustrating. Issues were relatively minor but we had a clogged toilet for 5 days and the stove top never worked and no one returned our 3-4 messages.
