We would definitely rent this property again. It was clean, spacious and comfortable with nice views from both decks A very short walk, just down the street, to the beach. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked and is conveniently located with a short drive into Chatham.

The views from this home are gorgeous and it’s very convenient to the beach. Kitchen could have been stocked better, with a few more staples. Freezer has no ice maker and only one ice tray. Great places to walk dogs!

We were looking to stay in the Ridgevale Beach neighborhood, as our family had rented various cottages there many (many) years ago! We were so happy that the neighborhood and beach has maintained its charm and beauty. It was so special to find a house to comfortably accommodate my mom, my husband and preschooler and me, and my two brothers and their wives. Having 2 showers plus outdoor shower also super helpful for large group. Having a tub in one of the bathrooms was great for our child, and the house and property felt fairly safe for a (supervised, of course) curious and adventurous three year-old. The house is a bit shabbier on the exterior than photos show, but that didn't matter to us. If you're planning to do some cooking, bring your own salt, pepper, oil, and spices, or reach out to Del Mar and ask if they've acquired, as there was very little for our visit. We loved the spaciousness of the house, the charm, the 2 decks, and the fact that there is a washer and dryer on premises. Would definitely consider returning. Thank you!

A perfect location overlooking an inlet just down the street from Ridgevale Beach. Loved sitting on the upper deck in the evenings and looking out towards the ocean. The house was roomy, and comfortable. It was a wonderful week on the cape.

The property was clean and very well prepared upon our arrival, and the house boasts beautiful views of the cove extending beyond Ridgevale Beach. It's just a short walk to the beach—the last street before the parking lot, in fact—and you get the benefit of an ocean breeze in the bedrooms. The Del Mar property management team is very professional and makes the process seamless and easy to follow. We will be back!

Great option for Chatham!
We reserved this property for some friends and family as part of a group gathering. The location is really nice and the views can't be beat! The communication and check in process (and check out) were really simple - which makes a vacation so much more enjoyable.
The variety of sleeping options made our trip easier as we had the flexibility we needed too!
The house was immaculate clean, stocked with sheets and towels, and the views from the back are a great place to relax.
If you are traveling with friends or family this location is a great option!

The house and location were great! Lovely, peaceful setting and a quick walk to a beautiful beach. Upper deck was especially nice.

Wonderful location!
We loved the short walk to the beach and the view was wonderful! Plenty of room for our family. The house needs to be thoroughly cleaned and updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location with scenic Chatham views
The view is all you need to know about this property. With a large deck off the main living room and a second floor balcony off the master bedroom, everything is articulated towards a sweeping view of the inlet off Ridgevale Beach. The property is within walking distance of Ridgevale, which is a great beach for families and young children thanks to the dunes and little inlets that provide for shallow swimming, catching fish with nets, and building sandcastles. The property itself is well maintained, albeit somewhat dated in style. The outdoor shower and touches of coastal decor complete the Chatham beach vacation experience.

Had a great stay at this home for labor day weekend. The house is older, but was clean and well cared for. Wish there was better lighting in the kitchen and tv room, but we were there for the beach and it was a very quick walk to get to Ridgevale. The marsh views from both decks are beautiful!

Great place and location! Loved that linens were included. Management co. was very helpful. We did not arrive until 9:00 pm and had wrong address-they answered our call immediately and directed us to the right location! Would stay again!

Chatham Stay
This was a beautiful property and very convenient to the beach (less than 5 minute walk). It did have an ant problem but it was addressed promptly once we notified Del Mar. They had a maintenance guy come the day after to spray around the perimeter. Del Mar has been great and super responsive and we will definitely rent from them again!

Wonderful views, perfect location
The scenic views of Bucks Creek changed throughout the day with the tides, a delight to watch from the outdoor patio, the roof deck and even from inside. An easy and pleasant walk to Ridgevale Beach. The house was lovely with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Picturesque
I chose this location for photographing the milky way in the southern sky right from the upper deck. Accommodations were excellent. Quiet, scenic property, many scenic locations nearby. Would stay again, highly recommend.

Serenity Home
After spending one week with my sisters in this old captain's home with a widow's walk and beautiful deck and being able to just take in the serenity of it's location, I highly recommend it to any family. Perfect home with a perfect location!
Beautiful home in a quiet location within walking distance to beach! Such a great vacation our family didn’t want to leave! Home is fully equipped with everything you need, lots of space with a beautiful open floor plan! Huge deck off the back of the house with beautiful views of ocean inlet where we spent a lot of family time! Also, great rooftop deck with views of both the inlet and the ocean which was the perfect location to watch the sunrise with coffee or sunset with wine! Would definitely recommend this home! Can’t wait to go back one day!

Amazing location just minutes from the beach, and with water views out every window
Del Mar rentals were extremely responsive and helpful with property access/payments. House was large and spacious with multiple sitting rooms, large deck, and a lot of natural light. Appreciated being able to bring pets, but not the fact that there was a non-refundable $100 charge PER pet in addition to the rental and deposit. In the past 15 years of renting on Cape Cod I’ve never had to pay a non-refundable deposit.

Buck's Creek View - West Chatham- June 2018
Great location and support from the Del Mar team. The home was ready and the condition was as advertised. We had a family of six and there was plenty of room for us all. Any questions we had before and during the stay were cover quickly "same day" always making sure we had what we needed and offered suggestions on what to do.
<5 min walk to the beach with access to rent Kayaks, Sail boats, Paddle Boards.
Versatile beach area for young children as well as adults to relax.
Short ride to sites in Chatham for those days you are not at the beach or relaxing on the Deck..

Perfect views next to the best family beach
The house is perfect for one or two families looking for gorgeous views within walking distance to the best family beach on the cape. We've been going to Ridgevale beach for years, with it's warm calm estuary waters opposite the ocean side and expansive tidal flats for the kids to explore. This house is just a five minute walk from the beach, and easy driving distance to Chatham center and Rt 28 businesses.
The house itself sleeps 6 in bedrooms upstairs, with a daybed and trundle bed downstairs. We were fine with two couples and four kids. House amenities are pretty standard and totally reasonable, with a decent sized open floor downstairs with two living areas, and eating area, and small kitchen. But the views make all the difference, with a wonderful back deck looking out over the marsh and a roof deck off the master. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. At the end of the street with the estuary on two sides and the ocean behind the other side of the street, it was extremely quiet and felt secluded.
