Lovely apartment in peaceful area just outside city centre. 5 minute walk to tram which takes you to the centre of this stunning French city in 10 minutes( 4 stops). Walkable in 25 to 30 minutes but due to the high temperatures in mid 30s the week we were visiting not so comfortable so we were glad of the tram option. Some nice restaurants very locally too.

This was our third attempt to visit due to lock downs and we weren’t disappointed. The apartment is in a great location close to tram and park, handy for a late afternoon drink at the bar/cafe! Fixtures and fittings were top class and we loved the walk in shower. The bedroom was huge, comfortable bed and quiet at night. Stephanie was a great host and we took note of her recommendation to visit Arcachon and St Emilion. Really handy that’s there’s private parking to the rear of the property. We had a great week, thoroughly enjoyed Bordeaux.

The property is the ideal base from which to explore the great city of Bordeaux, and into the wider surrounding area. The apartment was very smart and comfortable, and we really appreciated the private parking space. Communication and check-in/out was very easy, and really reassuring.

We enjoyed our break at this cosy apartment close to the centre of Bordeaux. Nice location next door to a beautiful park, 10 min walk to the tram and 20 min walk into town. Plenty of restaurants close by. Thank you Laur for the informative welcome. It was very useful.

This apartment is an excellent choice for guests who prefer to stay in a quiet area of Bordeaux. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, but they are not as lively as dining in the city, which we prefer. It is about a seven-minute walk to the nearest tram stop, taking you to the center city in about 15 minutes. It is a very accessible method to travel around Bordeaux. We never took the bus near the apartment. We walked several times to various city locations, and it was about a 30 - 40 minute walk. Our preference is a place closer to walking distance to the restaurants and shops in such a vibrant city as Bordeaux. So the location was an issue for us. However, it is a well-appointed property and would be a good choice for a stay in Bordeaux if you appreciate a quiet location. More amenities, such as toilet paper (more than one roll), paper towels, bath soap, and shampoo, should be provided. Written instructions would be helpful on how to use the appliances. These are minor issues and will not prevent you from having an enjoyable stay in Bordeaux, hence our five-star rating.

Sehr geschmackvoll in gehobener Wohnlage. Zentrum gut per Tram zu erreichen, Haltestelle nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Stellplatz für Auto vorhanden (abschließbares Tor).

The appartement is fantastic and offers all you needed and you wish for. Located near the wonderful Parc Bordelais you can find good Restaurants and Boulangeries all around the place and the way into the City Center can be done by foot or via the public transport easily. The host is very friendly and helpful. Overall: A fantastic place to stay!

We had a wonderful one week stay here in October. This apartment is a delight with high end furnishings throughout. We were very comfortable here. Its very quiet, and we slept well. We appreciated the parking spot, as we made day trips to St Emilion and Arcachon from here with our car. The Parc Bordelais across the street was a joy to stroll in the evening. There are bus stops right outside the park which get you to the old city in about 20 minutes. We were also able to Uber downtown. There are a couple good grocery stores within 500km as well. Overall this is an excellent apartment for visiting Bordeaux and the surrounding region.

Very good location, close to the Parc Bordelais, in a grand building. Extremely elegant, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. A plus was parking in the small garden behind the house, which we were not expecting. Bus into the city close by. Food shops 5-8 minutes walk away.

We stayed for 11 nights, the area was quiet and relaxing, tree lined street, beautiful park across the road and hire bikes easily accessible. This apartment is just on the outskirts of the city so perfectly located if you have a car - free parking! Supermarket nearby plus some restaurants or city centre about 20 min walk, kitchen equiped to do light cooking otherwise delivery services available in the area as well. Excellent sized bathroom and shower for European standards too. All within a classic historical building. Well done Stephanie (owner) thank you for your assistance.

Très bon accueil et proximité d'un parc idéal pour des promenades, surtout avec un aussi beau temps lors de notre séjour. L'appartement est bien agencé et équipé. Nous avons rejoint facilement le centre-ville à pied en visitant les quartiers alentours. De nombreuses lignes de bus dont les arrêts sont proches permettent aussi de le rejoindre ainsi que la gare. En outre, la possibilité de se garer dans la cour arrière permet de ne pas chercher un stationnement aux alentours. Nous avons ainsi loué une voiture et pu visiter la région (bassin d'Arcachon, Saint Emillon,..).

We stayed in this Bordeaux apartment for 4 nights during early September. First the positives - Stephanie, the property manager, is very helpful and was accommodating in coordinating time for us to meet her to get the keys. She also provided a lot of extremely helpful information, including neighborhood gems like the restaurant down the street, the nearest supermarket etc. She had a nice selection of area travel brochures available and even sent Bordeaux area travel info via email in advance of our stay. When she met us at the apartment to give us the keys, she gave us a fairly thorough overview of the apartment and details like how to operate the microwave, TV etc. The apartment itself is lovely and has luxurious finishes. More than enough space for 2 people. location across the street from the park is also nice and the neighborhood feels safe. For those who are not traveling with a car, it is helpful that there is a bus stop right outside the apartment. We traveled by car and didn't have too difficult of a time finding a parking place within 1 block when we would return at the end of each day.The negatives are few, but need to be pointed out. We found the bed to be EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I do not have back problems, but after 4 nights on this bed, my back was killing me and I have to say, I could not stay here again simply because of the mattress. It's that bad. I felt like springs were digging into my back the entire night. Temperature and ventilation are a concern on warm days as there is no air conditioning or fans in the unit. We opened the windows in the evening when temperatures cooled to try to cool the unit down, but then had to deal with street noise (which is significant when the windows are open) and concern about leaving windows open while asleep since this is a first story unit. The addition of a couple of fans would probably take care of the problem and would be an easy fix by the owner.Were it not for the uncomfortable bed and lack of means to cool the apartment, I would have given this apartment 5 stars. The good news is that these items can be easily remedied by a conscientious owner.

Nous avons passé un séjour très romantique dans ce bel appartement, des soins dans la salle de remise en forme, de longues ballades dans le parc bordelais. L'appartement est idéalement situé, les transports en commun devant l'appartement nous permettent d'allė au centre en quelques minutes ou à pied en 20 minutes. Une station de vélo aussi à proximité pour se déplacer. Pour notre anniversaire de mariage, Stéphanie nous a mis à disposition une bouteille de vin. A REFAIRE SANS HÉSITATION

6 nuits dans cet appartement de grand style nous ont montré ses qualités mais aussi ses défauts. Les plus : belle rénovation d'un appartement 19e siècle avec ameublement et aménagements de qualité, proximité du parc Bordelais fort agréable pour la promenade, proche des commerces, arrêt d'autobus au pied de l'immeuble. Les moins : parfois difficulté de stationnement, bruit de circulation auto. (appart. en RDC), pas assez de vaisselle pour faire de la cuisine et vaisselle trop fragile, manque d'intimité dans l'appartement puisqu'une simple porte intérieure (pas de mur) sépare de l'appartement mitoyen.

We were very happy with our choice of this apartment. Beautiful bedroom, bathroom and modern kitchen with all the "mod cons". The bus at the door was a great bonus. We also enjoyed the big park opposite. We travelled by car, and had no trouble parking in the street.

This apartment is a delight to stay in. We were met by Stephanie who showed us the workings of the apartment which was a nice touch. The property is located very close to the number 5 bus which takes you right into the heart of the city and on your return drops you just a short walk away. A major supermarket is located nearby along with other essential shops. In the beautiful park opposite is a small cafe which is ideal for a quiet drink in the evening beside the lake. The fit out of this property is of a very high quality and everything is in excellent condition. Although located on a busy street the apartment was quiet. We would highly recommend this apartment.
