Possums Retreat - Private Spacious Cottage with Hydrotherapy Spa
The Cottage es una casa independiente de 1 dormitorio y 1 baño construida especialmente. Está ubicado entre los árboles en un jardín en una propiedad de 1. 5 acres. Esta casa es ideal para una escapada tranquila y apacible del ajetreo y el bullicio de la vida moderna. Relájate en la gran terraza y absorbe los sonidos de la naturaleza. Es un paseo fácil de 20 minutos (o 2 minutos en coche) en Maleny.
La casa ofrece un espacio de vida moderno, limpio y tranquilo en un entorno de jardín. La puerta principal se abre hacia el área de cocina-comedor-salón de planta abierta. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos de gama alta, que incluyen una nevera, horno de microondas, lavavajillas y cafetera. Hay un amplio armario y espacio en la parte superior de la encimera y la cocina se completa con mesas de trabajo de madera.
Se le proporciona una pequeña cesta de desayuno de cortesía para su primera mañana, que podría incluir fruta de temporada, pan, cruasanes, condimentos, muesli, yogur, leche, jugo de naranja, té, café (vainas e instantáneas) y huevos.
Telstra ADSL WiFi está disponible y hay un televisor con DTV, Netflix y Stan en el área del salón. Hay un segundo televisor en el dormitorio principal.
Se ha instalado una nueva estufa de leña en la sala de estar y se proporcionan leña, leña y encendedores. Hay un aire acondicionado de ciclo inverso en el dormitorio, capaz de enfriar y calentar toda la casa.
La pared lateral de la sala de estar se compone de dos puertas francesas que se abren a la gran terraza que ofrece una vista panorámica del jardín y el valle y los árboles circundantes. Un gran ventilador de techo le asegura que se mantenga fresco sin importar el clima. Hay una mesa de cuatro plazas y una barbacoa está disponible.
Existe la opción de sofá cama en el salón. Toda la ropa será proporcionada.
La habitación da a los resplandecientes árboles de Jacarandá, jardines y árboles de macadamia a través de ventanas francesas. Cuenta con un ventilador de techo con control remoto y una cama Queen con ropa de cama. Se accede al baño en suite a través de la puerta del granero y tiene un inodoro separado, una gran ducha de lluvia, un gran tocador, bañera y toallero eléctrico. Se proporcionan toallas y amenidades.
Los huéspedes tienen su propio acceso privado a la casa a través de la cochera más allá de la casa principal. El camino de entrada tiene luces para el acceso nocturno. El puerto de automóviles Cottage está a la izquierda del camino (unos 40 m hacia abajo). El acceso a la casa es a través de la entrada cerrada (marcada "Cottage") en la cochera y bajando las escaleras. La puerta de entrada se encuentra al final de una pasarela corta cubierta y semicubierta.
No hay acceso al estanque ya que está en propiedad privada.

just want to say a huge thank you to our hosts ,Linda & Antony.they made us feel so welcomed,lovely people to chat to ,they had the cottage spotless,spa was already to use ,we loved it.Every morning I would go out on the deck and watch the chickens ,the rooster & the tiny little chicks so very cute.This is a great location as a base.We went to so many places ea day .Absolutely loved it here.thank you once again Linda & Antony

We arrived to the smell (and very soon after, the taste) of freshly-baked bread. The hosts had thought of everything, and our cottage was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and warm, with robes, a spa, a modern kitchen, and both air conditioning and a fireplace. We shared the surrounds - about three minutes from Maleny township - with chickens, kookaburras and wallabies. It was an ideal place to stay for time out and a bit of luxury. We’ll be back.

Possums retreat is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a great location and close to everything you need. The fire place and the hydrotherapy spa was a massive win for us. Most importantly, the communication with the owners was exceptional. They even supplied a hamper with fresh fruit, danishes, crossiants and a freshly homemade loaf of bread which was super delicious. Amazing weekend away!! A massive thanks to the Owners Linda and Antony. We'll be back for sure.

Before we arrived we were giver clear and detailed information about how to find our way to our cottage. Inside we found a basket with a fresh home-made loaf of bread, butter, condiments and cakes. Fresh eggs were also supplied in the full kitchen as was milk and juice.
Melany is a few minutes away by car. A folder with places to go and menues for local restaurants was also supplied.

What an amazing experience. House was stunning and the hosts really did think of everything from the beautiful basket on arrival to the simple check in instructions. Property is set in a perfect setting, quiet, private and only a 3 minute drive into town.

We stayed for 2 nights in august 2023. Such a cosy cottage and the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hosts were wonderul and very atrentive to our needs. The property istelf was immaculately presented and it was all the small extras that really made it special. The fresh bread and condiments on arrival and bath robes just were much appreciated. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Everything about this stay was just perfect - from the warm welcome by Linda and Antony, to the breakfast basket that contained (among other things) a freshly home-made loaf of bread that was still warm, to the relaxing outdoor spa, and the amazing location. We couldn’t fault our 3 days there, and we just wish we could have stayed longer!

Upon arrival the 1st thing I noticed was how beautifully presented the cottage was from the welcoming basket of local goodies to the crisp white bedding !! Instantly I was in heaven ❤️ our (2) Westie girls were welcomed with open arms ( which means everything to us ) loved our hosts … best getaway yet !!

The cottage was just perfect. Beautifully presented and very comfortable. The balcony and the view from it was wonderful and we had everything we needed. The lovely fresh produce and bread and croissants delivered *still warm* were just the icing on the cake.
Unfortunately, my partner developed a severe migraine during the night and was very sick for the rest of our stay, so we weren't able to take full advantage of the lovely breakfast basket supplied.
Apart from that, it was a wonderful stay, many thanks to Linda and Anthony for providing such a lovely cottage to stay in.

A delightful stay. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and extraordinarily well appointed. The hosts had thought of everything. It was a rainy day, so we were so pleased to have this wonderful retreat to relax in. Lovely little modern cottage
Beautiful little home, loved the shower and the bath the most. Kitchen is nicely spaced and was all clean. The owners go above and beyond and was pleasantly surprised at a lot of just the little details, especially the breakfast hamper we walked into, definitely the best I’ve ever had.
Property is well kept and was easy to find, it’s a nice little location and would recommend.

Honeymoon Getaway
As newly-weds my husband and I spent 3 nights away in the gorgeous Serenity Cottage.
We were greeted with a breakfast hamper and also some crackers, dip, cheese and other sweet and savoury assortments from the local area.
We were also lucky enough to see the peafowel on the property and enjoy so many local sights to see very close to our quaint little cottage.
We would both highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful and relaxing time. Highly recommend this cottage for a break away from life! So much is provided and you get an amazing hamper on arrival and Steffi my dog even got her own hamper! Location is great. Owners are wonderful. I can’t wait to come back :-)
