Esta es una comunidad maravillosa maravillosamente mantenido cerrada con magníficas piscinas y jacuzzi. También tiene una casa club con mesas de juego y un gimnasio, así como tenis de pelota, y canchas de baloncesto, y un parque infantil. This was a great location. Has private access to the beach. Gated parking garage and property. The only downfalls is that I believe they should at least have the bare minimums that a hotel would have (a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner). There was also only enough laundry soap to do 1 load but they provided enough soap for 6 loads of dishes. And only 4 rolls of TP for 7 guests for 6 days. They require each guest to purchase a wristband but the wristbands are pointless. They gave sports courts but you cant use the courts, rec area, or gym outside of office hours.
The wood floors in the unit were all lifting and had gaps missing. There was loose tiles near the kitchen.
Was the unit clean? Yes. Did I feel safe? Yes

The Gulfpoint location is incredible. The grounds are meticulously manicured. The swimming pool is completely renovated with all new deck chairs. Office manager, Linda, is very helpful and accommodating.The condo itself needs a lot of work. The photo on the website for 1309 is misleading. There is no sofa bed - a blow up bed is provided but really no where to put it without moving furniture. Limited seating (a loveseat and tiny recliner). The table and chairs are falling apart - difficult to sit on w/o wobbling. There are no counter stools as pictured in photo. The kitchen sink has very little water pressure (took forever to fill the coffee maker pot). The bathrooms are in great need of updates. (However, water pressure is great for showers). We had to repair the headboards in second bedroom as they fell off from the bed frame. Spectrum internet went out periodically. Elevator A was out several times so we needed to use the steps for three floors.We stayed in this condo for 5 years, but have had enough. We won't be back to this unit.

Condo: is not what we expected it to be. It was very beat up, falling apart, and out dated. Several tiles throughout the condo are broken, main bedroom flooring has major separation. They have too many unneeded pieces of furniture in the condo. 1small love seat and a leather chair in living room but two high top tables and chairs and a bar. Main bedroom packed with furniture. Beds were comfortable. Washer and dry worked great. Kitchen appliances are updated and nice. Kitchen sink has no pressure at all. Cabinets could use a major deep clean. Resort: it’s older but the maintenance crew, security, and office staff are fabulous. All the amenities are awesome.Rent on padre: I very much enjoyed the staff that I worked with. They were also great and very on top of everything. I would use rent on padre again but would choose a different condo that’s more updated.

Self check-in no issues. Seemed dated from the garage area elevator indeed the unit was as well. Although it was clean. Pictures did not match unit. Would have enjoyed a couch for relaxing. Unit needs inventory of all items, ie; furnishings, kitchen items, WAY TO MUCH IN ONE UNIT ! Would definitely consider renting another unit there. We did not use the pool nor BBQ areas but looked Great ! Parking no problems !! Great washer/dryer in unit !! Thank you !!

Overall, the condo was nice. It is an older condo. That being said, the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. You could tell it has not been replaced in a very long time. The air matress was more comfortable than it. There is a door from the master bedroom that leads to the outside. You could hear everyone walking by in the middle of the might which is disruptive to sleep through. I still dont understand why you have to pay for wristbands when half the people in the complex are not even wearing them.

You have to pay to use the pool which wasn’t convenient at all because the office closed at 5, the description said it slept 8 the living area looks nothing like the photos and it only slept 6. The showers were not cleaned properly I had to clean them again myself and there is one maintenance worker who harassed everyone there making it uncomfortable.

The location is wonderful. The owner and Melissa, our leasing agent, was wonderful. Even though the Spectrum TV service is awful, we will be back next year. Hopefully, something can be done with the Spectrum service as it is terrible.also, the sleeper sofa was broken so our guests could not use it.

I recently stayed in the condo from july families first time vacation to spi.The rental in the description was not what we encountered during our stay.When I got into the unit the temp outside was 105 and the ac was not on. I went to turn the ac on and the thermostat fell apart. I had to put it back together and maneuver the metal clip inside the thermostat to turn the ac on. I had to maneuver it again to turn it to 70 because it was so hot.When i walked into the kitchen it smelled like urine/fish. The urine smell was coming from a corner by the bar area and strong fish odor was coming from the drains.I had to purchase products to pour down the drains because my family couldnt bear to eat around that awful smell.I walked into the kitchen and there was a crack on the tile.I then walked into the master bedroom which had floor planks that were not set right and could cause a trip hazard.The shower had mold where the caulking was.The door to the balcony was so hard to shut and if we shut it hard it would shake the decor right above the window. When my children pulled out the sofa bed it was dirty and had trash under the mattress.The mattress itself was so thin my kids backs started to hurt after the second day.We went downstairs to the beach entrance and construction was being done and that smell of fish was so guessing the pipes were one of the issues being worked on.I was not pleased with this rental at all.For the price I paid I feel the construction should have been in the rental ad and the condo should have been inspected to make sure all things and furniture were properly maintained for tenancy.We ate out most of the time and we had to treat the disposal with cleaners to drown out the smell.I urge you to re inspect this unit and replace old furniture that time has expired on.I rented other units before in different vacation spots and this one was the a single mother I work my butt off to provide my children a vacay,this was horrible

Over all was great only issue was there is construction and there lots of roaches after a good cleaning and spray of roach spray everything was good there as a issue with the pool to many people not following the rules with loud music and horse play didn’t get to enjoy pool area and towels all over the balcony’s and constant noise. There were roaches in the towels dryer didn’t work and had to make sure all our food was sealed and covered. Wish this would have been noted some where or at least a note left of and the Wi-Fi cyst out and you need a new password every day

Great place everything was as stated
Over all was great only issue was there is construction and there lots of roaches after a good cleaning and spray of roach spray everything was good there as a issue with the pool to many people not following the rules with loud music and horse play didn’t get to enjoy pool area and towels all over the balcony’s and constant noise. The fact that deposit fees are not noted in advance is not good. Yet, check in process is extremely easy. Once checked in everything was clean, organized, and welcoming. Only bad thing was there was a big cockroach in one of the bedrooms that died shortly after being found, might have been a poison already on the property. Pool was enjoyable but had extremely poor lighting in the surrounding area by the pool. Parking is great. Area was quiet and relaxing. Check out is 10AM and too early.

Upon our arrival we had various issues that needed addressing by the property management company. They were quick to respond. One issue they fixed with two new thermostat batteries and another issue remained the entirely of our stay..
The Giulfpoint has beautiful grounds and pool. Covered parking and short walk to the beach. The pool use requires wrist bands which I am fine with. The people playing loud music in the pool not so much .This was on our stay, I hope not a regular occurrence.
The property manager for this specific condo was informed of things needing immediate attention with the condo. My hope is that this issue is relayed to the owners to address.
Overall we rate our stay about a "C"

The photos of the place are very Misleading.The place was smaller , shower leaked (drain pipe from celing) in both showers and the overall place was dirty w/roaches. Beach was fairly close but not as close compared to description. I've stayed in padre on numerous occasions but won't stay here again.

The master shower handle didn’t work, the dryer didn’t work and there was an air conditioner pipe draining into the guest shower. We woke up to roaches in the kitchen. I probably won’t stay there again. Otherwise it was nice. I also thought it ridiculous that the pool tags cost 10$ a person but we didn’t need them.

If you plan on not spending time in your condo at all this is the place for you. But if your looking for a place to enjoy time with friends and family pick somewhere else. The condo is nothing like the pictures. The furniture is very uncomfortable because they have plywood under the cushions. Also be sure you love plywood cause its under the mattress as well. I guess plywood is cheaper then new furniture or mattresses. Be sure to also love the cockroaches as they will be trying to make friends with you. We had no water pressure so if you want the sand from the beach off you be sure to use the hoses outside. Our last few days there was the worst because the motor quit on the AC in Texas heat of 80 plus and lots of humidity. They did send a technician to fix it after most the day without it. After a couple trips back in fourth he did manage to get it some what working. (His words not mine.) He came back on our last day to let us know he would be replacing the motor the next day after we checked out. This condo is a long ways from anything on South Padre Island so be sure to rent a car or spend a lot of money on Uber if you plan to do anything. The whole complex was under construction so there was nosie constantly.. I would highly recommend looking into other places before renting at Gulfpoint.

It was great for my husband and I plus out two daughters. The walk to beach was not bad at all and the grounds were nice. There was some construction going on but that is just temporary. Overall we enjoyed it.

Everything was good, the walk to the beach was a little bit of a challenge with all the heavy coolers and conopy and we also had a wagon to carry all of our chairs and food . Especially when we got to the sand ! Sooo much work !! Everyone that had to tote one or the other were extremely exhausted ! Other than that, I think we had a blast , beach was very clean, and water was beautiful ! I will need to get in shape to do it all over again! I think we would be better prepared next time around ! Over all fun for all !!
