Lakefront House & Cottage ~ walk-in beach ~ a special spot where guests return

Enjoyed the walk-in shore, kayaking and relatively close location to Lake George Village. Hiked Buck Mountain, enjoyed a winery and waterfront restaurants. Peaceful beautiful place to spend time with friends.

We just stayed for our 4th year in a row and this has become our family’s favorite place on earth! The house is beautiful - well kept with so much charm and a wonderfully rich history. The screened porch with the magnificent views makes this a paradise in rain or shine! Even a day of storm “Debby” couldn’t bring our family’s spirits down. We had the greatest week with memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again next year!

The house and smaller cottage were perfect for our group of 10. There was plenty of room for all of us, the house was super clean, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, a gorgeous yard directly on lake, and the host (Bill) was very good about getting back to us with any questions we had. Also loved the location; quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Lake George Village which is a short drive away. Highly recommend! Hope to book again in the future.

We love our summer vacations here. It is a little slice of heaven and is a special place for everyone in our family—from 2 to 77. Owners are great and super easy to deal with. Location on the lake is ideal. And the sandy beach is perfect. Could not ask for better.

June was a wonderful time to be at Pilot Knob. The loons were fishing and calling directly off of the property. A true Lake George cottage with a sandy beach. The screened-in porch (with windows to close on cool nights) provides an expansive view across the lake. The cottage is comfortable and very well maintained.

It was clean zen experience staying at this house. Loved waking up to the sparking lake facing windows. Beach was perfect to play in, for kids and adults! Fire pit was a bonus. Love love love!

Perfect spot on the lake
I stayed with family at this great home on Lake George and we would reserve it again without hesitation. There was plenty of space for our group of seven adults. The home and cottage was clean and we had everything we needed. Loved having the kayaks available for our use and you just can’t beat the view while relaxing by the water next to a warm fire. Thanks for the great week!

If you love Lake George, you'll love it more here
Our vacation was everything we hoped for and more! This is truly a beautiful property with picturesque lake views, gorgeous sunsets, and child (and barefoot out to deep water) friendly water access with a gently sloping sandy bottom. The cabin is very comfortable and full of history. My kids actually prefer the mattresses in the cabin to what we have at home. Bill was welcoming and super responsive. My family loves Lake George and this experience only made that love grow. Thank you!

Another awesome stay
This is the second time staying at this property and both times had awesome stays. Bill was extremely responsive to any questions we had and property/house was in great condition and clean on arrival. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Beach area is perfect for kids and kayaks, canoe, yard games is an awesome bonus.

Amazing time!
This house is a true hidden gem! Countless hours were spent out on the dock fishing, playing in the lake and enjoying the fire pit at night. Owner was very responsive to a couple questions we had- you can tell they take great pride in their house and making sure that guests have a great experience. Will definitely book again if/when we find ourselves in Lake George again!

Truly Magical
The place was everything and more. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at such a fantastic location - you can tell how much love went into the house and the lakefront. We made use of the kayaks daily, taught my parents cornhole and bonded around the fire every night. Bill and Beth were around and it was nice to meet them and know that they were accessible for any issues (hardly any) We hope to stay there again one day.

Greatest spot ever!
We had the best stay and couldn’t be happier about finding this gorgeous Adirondack Lakehouse! It was truly perfect. It has the charm of a lake camp but the modern luxuries (updated kitchen and bathrooms) that made it the perfect vacation spot. We are hoping to visit every year! Bill was a wonderful host and we had everything we needed. We have 2 small children and a baby and the lawn and sandy beach area were ideal for hours of fun digging and playing. They also loved making s’mores in the fire pit. The house was well cared for, clean, and stocked with all of the essentials. We truly cannot say enough good things! Our friends stayed in the guest cottage which was perfect. Thank you again!!
