The apt is clean, spacious and beautifully renovated with high end appliances, fixtures and hard wood floors. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts are right outside the door and the beach a quick walk down the stair case. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located just a short drive from everything in SD. Great coffee, restaurants and shopping is also within walking distance.

William provided us with an amazing experience at his rental. He met us at the property and showed us around the complex and gave us the layout of the home. The house is beyond immaculate with top of the line appliances. There were plenty of amenities. It felt so relaxing and was truly a wonderful stay. The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed the sunsets every night. We walked down to the beach in the mornings to exercise. The parking is gated and super safe. We left our electric bikes in the garage locked together and never worried. The beds are super comfortable. The only drawback is…. There are many steps to get from garage to the condo and then there are steps to get to the main living area. This was not a problem at all for us as we are very active and considered it part of our workout (every step counts!). I only bring that up in case someone considers renting that cannot handle stairs. The grounds around the complex are so well maintained and a beautiful setting with a koi pond (and a turtle that likes to sun bathe). The employees were constantly working on the landscape and making sure everything looked perfect. There are two pools (heated) and hot tubs. We never used them but they were very clean. It was lit up so beautifully for the holidays! Very close to everything - stores, beach, freeway. We will most definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!!

Property itself updated recently and spotless. As a work from home person, wifi was perfect and could use dining area with well light area.
This is a sun drenched place and you have views of ocean and town/hills from upstairs!
There are several steps:stairs and a small uphill to get from parking to the condo. So be aware for those with mobility limitations.
Host was proactive and most welcoming. Checked in on us throughout and that makes all the difference on experience and feeling as a home away from home!

This was our first visit to Solana Beach and I hope it won't be our last. First and foremost, Bill is a wonderful host. The pre-arrival email is so nicely detailed that we didn't have any worries on our arrival day. Bill greeted us at the gate, walked us to the townhouse and showed us the entire place before taking us around the complex and showing us how to get to the pool, tennis court and beach. The grounds are beautiful with koi ponds lush vegetation and benches overlooking the bluff and the ocean. It really feels like a world away. The view of the ocean is spectacular from the deck and the interior of the townhouse couldn't be more comfortable and spacious. The pictures are fantastic but being there is better! With easy drives to all of the coastal towns, you can't beat this location. Our only problem was that we had to go home! Thank you, Bill, for providing such a wonderful place for celebrating my birthday.

We had the best stay at this Solana Beach condo. Not only was the owner Bill's communication excellent prior to our stay, but certainly on the day we arrived. The unit and complex have a lot of amenities, and Bill took some great time showing us around the property and the condo so we knew how to live comfortably for a week. The condo is immaculate, and when I say immaculate, everything is super clean and presents as brand new. You can tell that the place is kept well so that you feel like you are staying in a fresh/modern place. When it comes to amenities, the unit has it all. Every kitchen utensil, down to cleaning solution is provided and it made it so easy just to relax and enjoy the week. We will definitely be back!

What a great place to enjoy a beach vacation!
To say property is exactly as described is an understatement. The owner is such a gentleman and a gracious host. The property was so well stocked, and more, for us. Although this property is not the "front" row to the beach, in a lot of ways, you may prefer that, at least we start to feel that way, after one month's stay. Also, the workers there are doing such a great job--they make the whole community feel like one big fancy garden. IF you ever want to stay at Solana beach, you should definitely consider this property!

Exceeded our expectations!
After reading all the 5 star reviews for this townhome, it’s difficult for me to add any more superlatives! I chose this particular condo based on the fantastic reviews and beautiful descriptions of the details of the home, plus the close access to the beach, and my daughter and I were above and beyond thrilled with everything! It did not disappoint in any way. The owner Bill was so friendly and helpful and was always quick to answer any questions we had. We were also very impressed with Bill’s son Stas who helped us with our luggage when we left since Bill was out of town then.
I cannot say enough about how much we relaxed and enjoyed staying here. There’s no other place to stay in San Diego for us when we visit again! Thank you Bill for everything!

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. The condominium has been completely remodeled. Very bright and spacious, with a full kitchen and upper level east and west decks. Beautiful view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The complex is gated with gated parking. Convenient for walking the beach, coast highway and design district.

Lovely property and host
This unit was well situated along the SoCal coast, just a short drive from many area attractions and locales. The host was lovely and helpful. The grounds were very pretty and serene and could probably be played up more in the listing. Walk to beach is steep but so close to unit. Overall we had a great time. Only drawbacks for us were furnishings and an extra bed. We had four people, so a sleeper in living room would've been great. We also almost moved a comfy chair from a bedroom to the upstairs, as the living room seating was a bit sparse for us.

We really enjoyed our stay!
The condo is in a nice gated community with couple of swimming pools and tennis courts and the grounds are very well maintained. The beach is a short walk, however you need to climb about 135 stairs (yes my kids counted the stairs) which we didn't mind at all, as it was a great exercise. The beach was very nice, not very busy!
The condo is nicely decorated and has a great water view. It had everything we needed. The only thing I would improve is the WIFI connection and the water pressure if possible other than that it's a beautiful place and we would definitely come back.

Wonderful home away from home
Everything about this property met expectations. Bill was a great host and was easy to work with. Gorgeous views of the Pacific from the main floor. Please note this home sits back from the cliffs but has a good line of sight to the ocean. Easy access to beach, to town, to the freeway. Great food nearby. Great property in quiet area
My husband and I recently stayed at this property during a work conference. The condo is beautifully furnished and includes all the amenities you could ask for. The grounds were nice, with pools and tennis courts and the beach was a short walk down some stairs. The owner was very nice and met us at the condo to go over everything, including walking us around the grounds to get our bearings. Beautiful place and great area.

Beautiful condo on a beautiful beach - everything you could want for a family holiday
We were nervous about committing to a location since we don't know the San Diego area at all so we were relieved to arrive and immediately know we picked a great rental in a great town. The condo itself was beautifully renovated, clean and spacious. The closet in the master was even big enough to put our one year old's travel crib in - bonus!! While you can't see the beach from the condo you get a perfect ocean sunset view every evening and not once did we wish we had anything more to look at. The rest of the property was lovely. Well gardened and clean and such easy access to the beach and ocean view. Like all of Solana Beach it was a quiet community. The pool was perfect and is sheltered from the wind so made it feel hot out even if it wasn't! Everything you need is within walking distance of the condo but be warned that it is a fair walk to most things ie. coffee shops & restaurants. You will get lots of steps in! A proper grocery store isn't walkable and we only managed to find a Whole Foods and a health food market so groceries were expensive but I'm sure with a little more research finding a less expensive grocery option wouldn't be difficult. We can't wait to go back and will next year!

Beautiful condo!
We stayed for a week in June and loved it! Bill the owner, could not be nicer or more helpful. He showed us all around and was available to answer any questions we had. The condo is gorgeous and newly remodeled. Plenty of room for our family of four. The two balconies were great! You have to look over a couple other buildings to see the ocean but it is still lovely and you can hear the waves crashing. My kids loved going down to the beach each day to jump in the waves and swim. The beach was perfect and never crowded. The pool and hot tub were nice also. People may want to be aware that there is a rather strange "no fun allowed" in the pool rule. No jumping, no floats, no pool toys, etc. There are some very grouchy full time residents that live there. One guy was just waiting to yell at my son when he jumped in the pool, in the deep end, far from the guy. We heard from several other residents that they have actually been fined hundreds of dollars for jumping in the pool! We spent most of our time at the beach so it was not much of a problem but very strange for a vacation rental area. The location in Solana Beach is excellent! Close to San Diego, Encinitas, Del Mar, etc. We loved it there! Thanks again Bill.

My husband and I stayed at Bill and Marina's place this past week/weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Bill provided us with a tour of the condo and the grounds which made us feel very welcome. The location, amenities, and views made for a wonderful bit of R&R :)

Great Property!
The rental is just as described. Bill was a great host who showed us all of the local amenities. Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Pool and Beach areas were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous property in all respects!
We arrived at this property, with high expectations. We certainly were not disappointed! Everything exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Bill, the owner, who gave us an extensive tour of the property, grounds, access to beach and even some local restaurants. The view from this property is stunning and one that we could never tire of. We watched the sun rise from one deck and the sun set from another deck! The house had everything we could have wanted. Plenty of refills for paper goods. There were some treats for us on arrival. This is a truly lovely home from home. We travelled here from the UK and can't wait to return at some point in the future. Thank you Bill and Marina for making our stay in Solana beach so welcoming and memorable.
