We had a nice family time! It was a well deserved trip for all of us. The Unit we had, was nice and spacious but, needs some updating. It was a very noisy street. Didn’t get much sleep.

My recent experience at North Coast Village left much to be desired. From unannounced maintenance visits to disruptive renovations next door, the stay was far from enjoyable.
Firstly, the unannounced maintenance visit was a major violation of our privacy. While the property left a flier informing guest of an approximate time for the maintenance, the barging in the room without knocking or announcing themselves left me and my underage daughter really uncomfortable the remainder of the trip. If privacy is a desire, I recommend looking at other locations.
Furthermore, the water shut-off was unacceptable. Again, the property had a flier posted in the parking garage, however we weren’t not informed until the following day after checking in at this property. The lack of basic amenities like running water should be guaranteed, and the hotel failed to provide this essential service consistently.
The ongoing renovations next door added to the chaos. This trip was intended to be a vacation for relaxing but the noise made it impossible to rest during the day.
Adding insult to injury, I received a parking violation for leaving my vehicle on the premise for longer than 24 hours without moving it. If you’re traveling with more than one vehicle, the second vehicle must be relocated every day which once again takes away from the hope of relaxing while staying here.
Overall, my stay at North Coast Village was marred by constant disruptions and a lack of consideration for guests' comfo

I'm glad I read reviews prior to my visit. It was helpful to know that there wasn't AC, so we brought 3 fans with us. Turned out that the unit supplied 5 fans. We used them all. The location was within walking distance to many great places - the beach, the pier, the harbor, and markets. Check-in was easy, and we were able to secure a guest parking pass for the second car we had with us. There was a beach wagon, beach chairs, beach blanket, and a beach umbrella in the closet for us. That was really nice. The unit was a great home base during our week in Oceanside. As other reviews noted, there was a lot of street noise: loud cars late into the night, and trash pick-ups/construction noise early in the morning. This was especially loud in the bedroom w/ the 2 queen beds. Since we had so many fans running, the outside noise was a little more tolerable. It was also helpful to know that the parking spots were really tight - especially in some of the guest parking spots. Larger vehicles would have a hard time fitting in the garage. I was really grateful to have a covered, gated place to park in though. The on-site gym was really nice, and there was a co-ed sauna just outside the gym restrooms, plus a female-only sauna in the women's restroom. I reached out to the host a couple times during our stay and they responded quickly - even after business hours. It was clear that they were there to take care of us. I'd stay there again, and will recommend it to others.

We had a great time. The girls loved feeding the Koi fish. 25 cents for food so bring a lot of quarters. We were pleasantly surprised there was a beach wagon, 4 chairs, umbrella, mat, beach toys, cooler and water jugs. Our king bed was very comfortable. There were 2 fans in the living room and a fan in each bedroom. Oh annd the beach was so close. Everything was perfect. Thank you for letting us stay there.

The location was amazing. Bummed that we were on the side of the resort with the small pool. Spent our pool time on the other side of the resort. With 2 separate sets of adults, having only one parking space was miserable. We had to keep moving one car to paid parking as the handful of guest spots were always taken (especially by cleaners and resort vendors....which makes NO sense). The home was fine. Old, but accommodating to all of our needs. The street noise was HORRIBLE. Literally, cars racing and blaring their music til 1am most nights and service vehicles starting at 5:30am every morning. I've never stayed somewhere SO noisy! Beach was so close that made everything worth it. And the beach accessories is the primary reason why this was perfect! Just be reminded that there is no A/C in the warm months. Enjoy the beautiful Oceanside beach!

Everything about our stay there was awesome! The location was absolutely perfect and the unit had everything we could ever want and more to make our stay so comfortable! Jordan loved the ping pong table in the rec room downstairs and my buddy enjoyed chilling out on the balcony hearing the waves at night! Every aspect of our stay there was perfect and we will be returning regularly to that unit! Highly recommend!

Having never been to Oceanside, CA, I had NO idea what to expect. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!! It is my favorite place in California so far(apologies to Palm Springs and several LA neighborhoods…). The location of our condo was a 11/10. Close to beach, very walkable, and nicely appointed with respect to interior and balcony( love the drying hooks on balcony and OF COURSE the view☀️). As a rental owner myself(on East coast) I know how difficult it is to keep your unit comfy and up-to-date and I applaud the owners of our unit. The beds were soooo comfortable and the use of fans helped with unavoidable street noise and resort maintenance(like garbage removal and lawn/plantings care). The wall heaters in bedrooms and living room do need updating as one was broken and two are quite old. But the kitchen was beautifully updated and the large dining table was great for games and birthday celebrations—my son and I are May babies! Thank you SO much; we will be back. Oceanside is a perfect mix of beachy and upscale living🏖

What we didn't like was the breakfast was almost the same everyday... but no big deal! We will stay here again if in area!

Overall happy. I will comment that the parking space is a tight area to fit an SUV. If your a light sleeper, train passes every so often, and can easily hear neighbors, but im a deep sleeper, i couldn't hear once i fell asleep, but the room was great, everything worked good, only other thing was the ice maker stopped working. I forgot to mention to owner. Loved location and right next to beautiful beach. Easy checkin and easy drop off keys check out.

Our room was mostly clean, but very very dated. The heater knobs barely worked, we had to use a screwdriver to turn it on. Bathrooms didnt have a fan, so showers made the walls very wet. The windows looked original to the building, which was very very old, so all outside noise was extra loud and disruptive. Parking was underneath the building, you entered through locked gates, so not very convenient to come and go. The flower beds are kept up nice. It was a very expensive stay considering what the room looked like, needs some serious updating.

Can't beat the location. Sunset views from the deck. Road gets a little busy in the day but calms down after sunset. Manager was great and responsive about any problems we had. Pool and hot tub was awesome Only 2 negatives I can say is 1. The "Wash Connect"
rip off laundry system in use. Cost us an extra $10 when the machines took $ and then failed. Recommend just going to a nearby laundry mat. 2. The bi weekly mid morning noisy garbage pickup on the road. Otherwise it was all good.

Property is walking distance to the Harbour, which has a beach, nice restaurants, and shops. Property also has a pool. Also walking distance to Oceanside Pier and beach. Quick drive to Legoland. Property was well set up for family with kids. Simple additional amenities like shampoo and Dawn detergent for washing dishes would have been appreciated.

The beach access was fantastic, a short 2-3 minute walk and the beach was great! There is no way I would pay double or triple just to be on the beach when we were this close. I loved the security of the property and parking. And my favorite part was all the beach goodies you had in the unit for us to use, AND, there was enough for everyone. I LOVED that. We had a blast on our beach day because of that.

This is our second time staying at this unit. The location is great and the property is clean. There is a beach wagon, beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and towels available and the beach and harbor are both within walking distance. This unit is on what may be considered “the older side” of the complex but we actually prefer the smaller pool and less crowded jacuzzi. There is easy access to the other pool and jacuzzi across the street. Check in and check out were easy. I would recommend that the owner put a high top table and/or high stools or chairs out on the balcony so that visitors are able to sit outside and see the ocean (there were a couple of taller chairs when we stayed the first time). The view is one of the best things about this unit and the regular chairs make it difficult to see the water for some of us shorter people! We really enjoyed our time at this unit and will definitely be back.

Excellent location, quiet, and peaceful. Beautiful pool and hot tub, and a very short walk to the beach. The condo is spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. We made most of our meals in the kitchen, and went out for a few meals too. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful location to the beach, Strand, eating. Nice grounds, heated pool, hot tub. Condo is older and the floors slant a bit, but still a great place to stay. One tip, bring a face mask and ear plugs. Rooms are bright and cheery, but curtains do not block out light in bedroom when drawn. Depending on clouds and breeze, could hear freeway and the coastal train. I had both and slept well without hearing a thing. Walked on the beach 3 times a day and always walked to eat and drinks at night watching the sunset. You will enjoy.
