My first contact was with the owner. She was sweet, accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. The apartment was clean, had everything you needed and the views were spectacular. The location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely return.

Beautiful sitting on the balcony or eating at the picture frame window. Beach below is not great but only a short walk to a better spot.

My friend was in town for just a couple of days and we had a wonderful time in Malibu. It's a sweet, beachy apartment with everything you need and really close to shops and restaurants. Wonderful place!

Has everything that you need. The balcony got splashed many times with ocean waves. That shows how close it is to beach. Santa Monica is 10 mins drive. We would love to come back. Thanks!

Great place

My husband and I were over whelmed by the view in this place. Immediately upon walking in the door you are greeted with the sounds and sight of huge ocean waves rushing toward the building. The waves are so strong that they sometimes comes up on to the balcony. I loved this place and we truly enjoyed ourself and hope to come back in September.

Vast ocean views right off the back porch. Hypnotizing surf sounds as the tide came and went throughout the day and night. A sea lion sunned on a large rock nearby for several afternoons. Close proximity to everything we wanted to see. Lovely place.

You can’t beat the location/view! So clean and always great communication. They have everything you need for a great stay. This is our 3rd visit and we look forward to many more!

This place is a no frills traditional unit with an unparalleled view right on the beach. The furnishings are simple and clean. Gas stove, refer with ice maker and pots & pans. No dishwasher but I didn’t need one. Comfy bed, nice shower/tub. A plus for me is the one car garage. Angel was on-site to assist if needed. The beach is rocky in front so you need to walk up beach to the surfing beach for a walk. V’s Restaurant is just down the street and excellent. Go to Malibu Seafoods for fish buy and can also eat there. I would come back

My husband and I are in our late 50s and loved this place so much we extended our stay a couple of days. Yes, you hear the road at night, but I’m a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me at all - I heard the whoosh of passing cars, not the rumble of trucks or the noise of braking or accelerating vehicles. The surf was soothing or dramatic in turns, sandy beach access perfect for long walks, and the rocks in the intertidal area a favored sunning spot for sea lions. The unit was sparse but clean (completely clean, no coffee, condiments etc), a good size for two.

Everything about the property and location was perfect. Would stay again!

we did not use any of the amenities because we came in by taxi and had no way of going for groceries or supplys, that being said this place was well stocked with everything a person could need , its a great location well stocked, and the manger was great, no complaints only praise

ON the beach. Clean. Picture windows make it look like some of the larger waves are gonna come in living room. Some road noise.

Loved it - the location just a couple of mins away from Malibu pier, and many other stores. Building is right on the ocean with vancomycin over beach. Just very relaxing, clean, quaint stay while visiting Malibu & Los Angeles.

Great location, watched the sunrise of Santa Monica, roar of the surf, great for long walks on the beach. Easy access front gate. Loved It!

Excellent place we enjoyed everything tremendously

First off, I booked this place for three nights a while back for my wife’s bday. After a few days, the host messaged and modified the price to a higher price per night and added a fourth night. I asked why and explained I didn’t need the other night. Several days later they said it was to allow me all available nights. So I replied that I didn’t need the other night and that and again asked why they did that. About a week later I sent a question mark after no response. Then they said the same answer as before. I got way more clear on my concern and questioned their lack of communication and follow up (frankly I’m surprised they had all these good reviews based on the communication). They then said I can cancel it now if I’d like and they would give me a full refund. Honestly I meant to, but first wanted to secure somewhere else for her bday. I never found the time so there we were. When we arrived, the garage door was open (odd) and the front door was unlocked and back door open. So after my wife had me clear the house and make sure there was no transients, we can in. Parking lot was very small and our stock jeep barely fit. Inside, there was no AC and no WI-FI (they had Wi-Fi but it didn’t work). And I had work to do. We sweat our butts off on the worlds most uncomfortable bed. The view was the only thing that was nice but there was no privacy. We were alarmed by a knock early in the morning from someone who said he worked for the host and said if we need anything, the number was in the book. This place is was overpriced, the host price gouges and doesn’t communicate. We left after the first night and stayed somewhere else with Wi-Fi and AC. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty others to choose from on this strip of beach.

Had a great time at the Beach House and absolutely loved the location - you are literally over the sea with the waves licking your balcony when the tide is right in! The apartment is a little dated and the shower is a bit ropey but this place isn't about luxury, it's about the wonderful beachside location and, if that's what your after, it could not be better 😁😁
