This was a beautiful property! We only stayed for 2 nights, but I would love to come back for a longer stay! The rooms were very large and the living and dining room were great for our family to socialize in. The only negative was that check in was at 6pm, however we were able to get into the house early when I reached out to the property manager. Great place!

House was a good size for the size group we had. AC worked great and house was clean. The patio furniture could use some upgrades due to rust, but other than that the place was great!

Karen was such a pleasure to work with. We were allowed to check in earlier than expected, which is such a bonus. The house is so clean, comfortable, and a close walk to the beach and pool area. The location is perfect for enjoying great restaurants and shops along 30A. We look forward to visiting again soon.

This house is in the perfect location--5 minute walk to the beach and pool and 5 minute bike ride to the Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants. The home itself is lovely and clean and has the most amazing views on the top floor patios. We will be back!

This property was wonderful and Karen was so helpful and great. Our only negative experience was that Seacrest beach, which is the only one that was walkable for our family, was extremely crowded and small. We chose to drive to Inlet Beach most days and enjoyed it much more.
But, the house was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 5 young children.

My extended family had a reunion. My sisters’ families stayed in other homes but this home was a great location, as it was close to 30A and close to a tram stop. The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner communicated the details of the rental and area well and even added a personal touch with recommendations of places to go. We enjoyed our stay!

This beach house is in a great location with quick access to many restaurants, the beach and the community pool. Although we had less than perfect weather for our trip, we took advantage of the cloudy days by biking up and down 30A. Excellent trip and Karen was very accommodating to our early arrival and offered up several tips and suggestions for things to do nearby which we took full advantage of. Great overall stay!

Beautiful, Comfortable and Conveniently Located
We had a wonderful stay at Southern Waves. The house was just as described, clean, and conveniently located. The beach is a short walk, as is Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and having a high chair and pack n play at the house was a welcomed addition.
The owner, Karen, was great! She always responded immediately to emails before our visit and was extremely responsive to texts during our stay.
My only 2 complaints (and these having nothing to do with the unit or the owner) - The pool is not heated. We went in early April so the water was really cold. My kids didn’t seem to mind it when it was sunny but I couldn’t get in. Also, the designated beach area for Seacrest guests is small and gets really crowded. Most of the beach space is taken up by the chair rentals (which were only about a 1/3 filled) so you if you bring your own equipment, get to the beach early if you want a spot close to the water.
Despite those small complaints, we had a wonderful trip! This was our first visit to 30A and it certainly lived up to the hype. We will most definitely be back!

AWESOME trip! LOVED 30A
Southern Waves was perfect for our family of 4 - we easily could have had more people! We loved the crows nest area! This was our first trip to 30A but we will be back! The house was beautiful - very well decorated, clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Karen was amazing - she checked in on us to see if we needed anything or had any questions - was very sweet. The location was perfect - right at the front of the neighborhood which made access to everything really easy! You can walk to Rosemary and Alys beach and bike everywhere! We had a bonfire on Inlet Beach (30ABlaze), paddle boarded & kayaked Western Lake, had a great day of offshore fishing with Dead Fish Charters, watched many a sunsets on the beach and biked all the way to Seaside! It was nice the house had a few bikes - if you need more Peddlers Village is right up the street, the house also had beach chairs, boogie boards and some beach toys! Can’t go wrong with this house!

Incredible!
Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The location cannot be beat - a quick walk to the beach, Rosemary shoppes/restaurants, Alys beach shoppes/restaurants and a quick drive to Seaside. The home was beautiful - impeccably clean, plenty of space, and relaxing. I wish I could give it ten stars. The check in process was beyond easy and great consistent communication

Best View in Seacrest Beach
As a retired couple vacationing in February, Southern Waves was tailored to our needs. The home was ideally located on 30A in Seacrest Beach nestled between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. We could walk in either direction and enjoy shops, restaurants and see the lovely architecture of the homes in each community. The owner, Karen, was a delight and extremely helpful and communicative. She was always just a "text" away to answer questions or offer suggestions. The home was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The master bedroom was very comfortable and private on the 2nd floor. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the3rd floor tower room and loved the Gulf view. The best view in the entire Seacrest neighborhood!!

Perfect Beach Home
We loved staying here. The third floor is really cool - spiral stairs up to this floor, windows on all sides, view out to Gulf, and French doors out to two balconies. We were taking a semi-vacation and doing work and schoolwork remotely - the girls claimed the third floor and my husband and I each set-up in a second floor bedroom to work so plenty of space and privacy for all. The home was spotlessly clean, very cute, comfortable, and well furnished. The neighborhood is interesting to walk around - pretty houses, short walk to beach (<5 min), and restaurants. Owner had great proactive communication and was very accessible for any questions. You could tell she really wanted us to enjoy our stay and we did!

Great location and accommodations!
we really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was myself, husband, our 22mo old daughter, and our 10 wk old son. Everyone had their own space, and the walk to the beach was 5-7min. Unfortunately they don't allow any wheeled devices on the beach walk (ie: wagons or strollers) to help you cart your items to the beach, so it was a bit of a haul with two little ones! Thats not the property's fault, obviously, but just something for future folks to know about the beach access.
The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was safe and quiet, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need! This property was very comfortable and very well furnished for renters. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and our daughter loved the playground down at Aly's Beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!
This was our first visit to 30A, and we really picked a winner by staying at Southern Waves! It could not have been more perfect. The house is so pretty, decorated so cute, and comes with absolutely everything you could ever need. We loved the location in Seacrest, as it is right in between Rosemary and Alys, and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops. What really put it "over the top" was the great communication, generosity, and southern hospitality extended by Karen. She is the best! We plan to return to the area, and I don't think we will ever be able to stay in any other property after being spoiled by Karen and Southern Waves!

this home exceeded our expectations and made our vacation extra special. the house had everything we needed and more to accommodate our young kiddos and grown ups. the beach access, pool, and community helped to make this one of our best vacations yet. looking forward to booking again soon with Karen @ Southern Waves!

Excellent communication and location
The manager of the property was probably the highlight of our stay. Traveling with 3 kids under 4 is more of a “relocation” and she was so accommodating, even with complications of a recent hurricane and pandemic. She was easy to get in touch with and up front and understanding about everything. You can’t beat the location. Easy to walk to the beach, pool, or restaurants. Thank you for a fun week!

Extraordinary -- House, Location, Host
I am not diligent about leaving reviews but Southern Waves and Karen deserve mention. We have stayed at the house a number of times -- as a couple, as a family with early-morning, bike-riding kiddos and most recently as a family with the kiddos plus the oldest, her spouse and a grand-babe. The house is beautifully equipped and appointed (the kitchen!), the location perfect for access within the neighborhood and outside, and then there is Karen. Karen is endearing. If you consider a property that you rent a business, Karen does it with heart. She sincerely wants you to enjoy yourself -- she helps you to love the area she loves. Book your stay -- please just leave me a week!

Riding out a hurricane
We didn’t let hurricanes Sally slow us down to much. And Karen was wonderful to work with as we dealt with side effects from the storm. Great home and location. We love Seacrest and look forward to next year!

Great house in a great location!
We had an amazing time at this house! First of all the owner, Karen, was so accommodating to my family as we tried to juggle 2 kids in between checking in and out of 2 houses on Labor Day. She went out of her way to get us and our car full of random items in to the house early and we so appreciated it!! The house was lovely and worked well for us. Virtual learning in “the tower” was a big hit 😄 easy walk over to the gorgeous pool and a short tram ride away from the beach (so convenient and the kids loved the giant golf cart), but easily walkable too. We had a great time and will be back!

Great owner, wonderful house & convenient location!
My husband, myself and our 20 month old just stayed at this wonderful property! You get resort amenities with the comfort of your own private home! Karen was wonderful to work with and answered any questions or requests promptly! The walk to the beach took 5-7 minutes and the pool even less! The home was spacious, comfortable and accommodating for our little one. The only inconvenience of our entire stay is the master king bed is extremely firm-just not our preference but would not keep us from booking again. The pool is amazing and wonderful for all ages! We rented beach chairs/umbrellas to lighten the load. La Dolce Vita was very professional and do offer half day rentals for less which was nice with a little one. Visit the Donut Hole for breakfast and/or lunch, you won’t be disappointed! We’ve stayed along 30A many times and this property is by far our favorite!

Perfect Beach House
The property is incredible not only due to the fact that it is a short walk to the beach but that it has everything you could want in a relaxing vacation. Deck space on all levels, tables for games, TVs in all rooms, beach chairs, ocean accessories, toys, you name it this place has it.
To top it all off Karen is an incredible host who made sure we had everything we needed.
I would not hesitate to book this place again. 10/10 perfect beach house for young and old alike.

Great Property with an Amazing Host
The house is everything you see in the pictures. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, wonderfully designed, a great location, and perfect for a family. The mere fact that it has 4 balconies to choose from is huge to me, who likes to relax on a balcony with a book. I thought the walk to the beach would be farther, but it is very close.
The property owner, Karen, was attentive to all our questions and concerns. She is amazing to work with.
Besides being close to the beach, the house is very close to a ton of places to eat. You can walk a very short distance to get Italian, pizza to go, or really good Mexican at La Cocina. Just a bit farther there are quite a few eating options in Alys Beach. Rosemary is a very short distance, so you have access to all their restaurants as well. There is really no reason you need to drive to any place to eat. The waits are not long and they almost all offer outdoor seating, which is really nice if you aren't comfortable eating inside yet.
Overall this property was perfect for our family and our vacation. I would definitely stay there again, which to me is the highest compliment.

Best Vacation Ever!
From the moment our family decided to stay at Southern Waves until we left on our check out day, our experience was amazing! We were sent TONS of useful information before our trip that helped with planning and packing. We were communicated with numerous times throughout the week we were there and Karen even sent us surprise donuts one morning because one of the bikes belonging to the house broke the week before we got there. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and in the PERFECT location to get to the beaches and the pool. The tower room was PERFECT for our teenage sons and our younger kids loved the bunk room. As far as beach vacations go, this one is on the top of our list. We will most definitely be returning to this magical place again.
