This home is great for a crowd! Plenty of room for gatherings, yet still offering plenty of space for privacy. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, man cave downstairs with pool table and hot tub was very popoular!

This is a beautiful house with lots of rooms and spacious areas to spend quality time with your loved ones. The sauna and jacuzzi are definitely a plus. We truly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately from the beginning we heard noises of rodents walking in the ceiling of the upper floor. Later on we found feces and traces of rodents' activities in the laundry room. The last day we actually saw a little mouse the came running from behind the washer machine. We took pictures that we can share with you. We would like to receive a monetary compensation from this disturbing issue that we faced.

We recently stayed at this home. While it was a very nice home and the set up worked well for our two families (There were two masters on the first floor with the kitchen/living room/dining area between them and then two bedrooms upstairs with the bathroom between.) we encountered a problem with the toilet and heat and felt it was not handled well. The house was about 52-55 degrees until the issue was resolved which was not until midnight and then the heat came on. I felt I was troubleshooting and handling the issue more as a homeowner, not someone on vacation. I was looking for the plunger, I was looking for the boiler, I was dealing with technicians. I was told that the house takes a while to warm up and to give it time but I told them the heat was not working, I knew hot water wasn't going through the pipes and they asked me to give it more time. Luckily the fireplace was on a different line so we were able to use that to keep warm but we were huddled around it with two sleeping on the floor in front of it. The fireplace could not heat the home and in 5 hours only brought us up to 55 degrees. I wish this didn't happen, otherwise we would have considered staying there again. Not worth the price.

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. Check in and check out were simple and intuitive. The road to get to the house and the driveway were slick but grateful for four-wheel drive. The walkway wasn’t salted/sanded so a few of us took a tumble, but there was also recently an unusual spring snow storm. The kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked. The bedrooms were well-appointed and clean. We enjoyed the sauna and fitness room! The hot tub is a bit dated but is fine for 2 adults. There was plenty of space and additional amenities for the little ones. We would definitely recommend this house.

Quiet neighborhood with rolling hills in the background, charming home that was up to date and well appointed while maintaining character. Lawn space was a bit smaller than we had expected but the house itself was fantastic. Huge basement with nice pool table, sauna and indoor hot tub. Kristin was responsive and accommodating. Is definitely go back with my family.

Wonderful spacious property
This is our second time staying at Kristin and Paul‘s lovely home. Great for children downstairs or adults as well as it has a hot tub a yoga room a sauna and a pool table right now! The location is perfect and close to shopping restaurants and skiing. Owners are very responsive.

A great place to just stay
Sure, you can go skiing, or hiking, or antiquing. But in this house you can just stay -- and cook, birdwatch, play pool, sit by the fire pit, take a sauna, or enjoy the quiet and read a book.
This home would work well for families or groups of friends. The first floor has two ensuite bedrooms, one on either end of the central living room. Upstairs are two bunkbed rooms (bottom bed in each is a queen bed) that share a full bath. The central living room, dining room, and kitchen (well stocked) are spacious with a welcome fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. Downstairs are a sauna, fitness room, and family room with pool table. I especially liked the back patio that is private and beautifully landscaped into the hillside.
Kristen, our host, was thorough and very responsive. West Dover is zip code more than a town. Nearby Wilmington has shops and restaurants. If you can get a reservation at The Hermitage Inn, do it. We had an excellent dinner in the tavern. Main dining room opens soon.

Beautiful Oasis
For our group of eight, the property proved perfect. The house is even better than it looks in pictures, super clean, updated and charming. The area is beautiful and charming. Beds were comfy, tons of bathrooms to accommodate our larger group. Only issue was some issue with check-in but it was resolved quickly. Great stay!

Extremely cozy and relaxing
We put a lot of thought while selecting this property and it was exactly what we expected. It was very clean and well kept. We used most of the amenities and they were also in very good condition and clean. Property is located in a beautiful place which is calm and secluded. Kristin was communicating with us extremely well. And we had a lot of questions and they were answered right away. this was just our second rental with VRBO and it was great. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to go there.

Peace and quiet in southern Vermont
My family of six greatly enjoyed our stay here. The home was as advertised; images were accurate. Beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We made use of all the extras - the hot tub, exercise room and sauna, as well as the pool table. The large seating area downstairs made movie nights very comfortable.
My favorite place was the back deck. Nestled right up against the mossy rocks of the forest, it felt so cosy and secluded. Absolutely no noise except for the red-eyed vireo singing his heart out! We ate our meals there every day and enjoyed the fire pit at night.
We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Kristen for being an attentive host!

Excellent amenities
We stayed for a long weekend and it rained day and night! The house was very comfortable and between all eight of us we enjoyed the game of pool, the hot tub, the great fitness studio and the sauna. I am already planning to come back!

Nice house. Nice location.
It was a wonderful stay with plenty of room for a family of four. Everything you need in a very nice kitchen. Icemaker and water filter were not hooked up which required an extra outing. Again, some thing that would be nice to know ahead of time.We were a little disappointed that the back deck was on usable due to snow load. Plans for grilling, there was no grill. There was no outdoor fire pit. Wish we had known that in winter these were not options. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi also only had one working jet and the overall cleanliness was Disappointing. We did not use this feature of the home however the spa and gas fireplace were nice. Loved having a pool table to keep us busy in the evenings.

This house was very comfortable for 8 people. It’s a short distance to mt snow and about 30 minutes to Stratton. The hot tub and sauna were clean and comfortable, and a really nice addition to the weekend! The living room and fire place were just perfect to be in after a long day of skiing.
