Su fabulosa ubicación es un paseo en bicicleta fácil de la calle principal o sólo unos minutos en coche de la magnífica Playa Sur. Generosa hospitalidad del dueño de casa incluye ropa de cama fresca, baño y toallas de playa.
Es un coche o en bicicleta corto trayecto en Edgartown histórico y encantador. Justo al lado de la ruta en bicicleta, usted puede disfrutar de la playa y de la ciudad desde esta encantadora casa de campo.
Las actividades son sin igual en el viñedo, con las pintorescas ciudades de Edgartown, Oak Bluffs y Vineyard Haven cercanas. Excelentes restaurantes, salas de cine, alquiler de videos, alquiler de bicicletas y barcos, puertos con vela y pesca alquileres y estanques serenos a poca distancia.

This cottage is perfect for a couple. The location is right off the bike path and convenient to Edgartown downtown and South Beach

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was the ultimate getaway. It was so peaceful and calm. It's a short walk into downtown Edgartown as we as the bus stop if you don't have a car and want to get to other towns on the island. The place was clean and had just about everything you needed: dishwasher, washer and dryer, blender for smoothies and about every dish you could think of. The ONLY piece of feedback was the mattress. If you like your mattresses soft, then you'll have the perfect stay. I have lower back pain and I need a firmer mattress. Considering this is a personal preference, they still get 5 stars, but I think it's good to know for anyone who needs a sturdier mattress. Other than that, they have a grill, beach towels, etc. for a comfortable stay. We would absolutely return!

We loved staying here it was nice and quiet. Easy access to all the bike trails from the house. The beaches are beautiful 💗. We had fun exploring the island. The cottage is the perfect size. We could make dinner here or go out to eat in town. The sunset at Menemsha Beach is worth seeing. Absolutely loved staying here! Definitely will come back again. Thank you Peter & Caren

The cottage was just as we expected. It was cosy, lots of privacy and at a great location for us. We did not bring a car and rented bikes to tour the island. Also a nice walk into Edgartown.

Really enjoyed the garden cottage for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked. One critique would be the condition of the couch/pullout, could use some new cushions. The addition of a chair in the living room would be a nice addition. We loved the area, very convienient and close to the bike path.
We are in the process of planning a return trip in 2023 and would love to stay at the garden cottage again.

We love staying here and have been doing so for over 20 years now. It's location is perfect it's close to South Beach and the center of Edgartown.

Absolutely LOVED this beautiful Garden Cottage. It was so comfortable, open, airy and private and quiet. It had everything we needed to make our stay a most enjoyable one. The yard is beautifully manicured, the outdoor shower is the absolute best and the gas grill was a great convenience. The location is ideal and Peter and Caren were the perfect hosts. The mini split kept the cottage very comfortable at the touch of a remote. We would definitely recommend Garden Cottage to anyone looking for a great island getaway. We are ready to book the same week in 2023!

Cute cottage, excellent location! Walking distance to town and only a few minutes from South beach, bike path is nearby. Outdoor shower is fantastic! I think the pull out couch has seen better days and a new mattress for the bed in the loft is a must. Other than that, we had a great time on the island and would definitely rent here again! Thanks Peter!

Always our favorite to stay and cannot wait to go back. Like others have said the outside shower is completely redone and a new grill this year. Peter is always great to communicate and it’s such a zen space to retreat too and close to everything as well.

This is a wonderful property. Very efficient, modern cottage perfectly situated between south beach and Edgartown. We used the beautifully renovated outdoor shower and grill everyday - grill and outdoor shower in great condition. We hope to come back next year. We didn't want to leave.

My wife and I just got back from our stay at the “Garden Cottage” and we were very happy with our stay. The cottage has a great location with close proximity to the beach and Edgartown, either by bike or car. There was an earlier post we had read that mentioned the condition of the outside shower and grill and I can tell you they have been handled. Outside shower totally redone and it is a great shower with awesome water pressure. The grill was obviously just replaced with a brand new Weber Spirit grill so no worries with those issues. Peter responded when needed. Check in and out super simple. We can definitely recommend this property. Go and enjoy yourself.

Tucked away just off the the bike path and just outside of town, this pet friendly location was ours for 2 great weeks on the Vineyard!
The kitchen is awesome for any meal u chose to make at home. Every utensil, dish and pot was available.
Our dog enjoyed running in the back yard and we enjoyed sitting in the front yard after the beach, for cocktails.
The owner was very quick to respond when we had a questions.
We enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful space to vacation; super clean and tastefully decorated with all of the amenities. It’s five minutes away from everything in Edgartown with walking trails and bike paths right outside the door. I loved every moment in the cottage and would return over and over again. The owners are pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this home, it is a gem and perfect 10!

The location was excellent and the cottage was clean, however, the outdoor shower needs a LOT of work. It really was unusable. The walls are too low (no privacy), the shower head just leaked and you had to walk through mud to get back to the deck. It should really be completely re-done, especially for the amount of the rent that is charged. The grill is not taken care of at all. It was sinking into the ground and there was no cover. These are simple things to fix that would make a big difference. Overall it was a great stay, but it would have been nice to be able to use these things.

We loved our stay at this cozy cottage within walking and biking distance to the beach and restaurants. So much to do! Lovely yard for chilling with morning coffee or lounging at night. We hated to leave!
