My husband and I booked the condo for our honeymoon and we had the best time, even without AC!! A little context.. On our way to Hawaii we received a message from Holly stating that the AC in our unit was going to be out for the entirety of our stay. This was at no fault of hers, the entire half of the building was out of AC due to a roofing project going on at the condominium. She offered us a full refund if I wanted to cancel, but given the countless 5 star reviews of this place, I really didn't want to. I offered to go pick up some extra fans/ACs for the unit and she was so appreciative! Holly was super easy to communicate with and checked in on us throughout our entire stay. We lowered the blinds during the day and slept with the lanai doors open at night to keep the unit as cool as possible. Which I would recommend even if the AC was working because the sound of waves crashing onto the beach was heavenly and it put us right to sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. I seriously cannot say enough nice things about this unit and Maui. The views from this unit are unmatched and unlike anything I've ever witnessed. Maui is the most beautiful place we have ever been by a landslide and I would recommend it to anyone! This was our first time in Maui and it definitely won't be our last, and I honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thanks Holly for the most memorable honeymoon!

We loved staying in this unit. It is in a great location and the unit is absolutely beautiful (the pictures do not lie)! Hosts were great to work with and will definitely look at reserving again.

This condo was steps from the beach. The sunsets every night were amazing! The condo had everything you would need. Dukes was within walking distance on the boardwalk and food trucks were great! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Celebrated our 40th anniversary on Kauai & Maui. Holly's place on Maui was perfect! The view can't be beat! Turtles playing in the surf everyday around 5pm. Surprisingly, we loved being on the 2nd floor; the ocean felt so close and the view was beautiful. Communication with Holly was easy. There was a plumbing issue in the bathroom which was resolved fairly quickly and we were happy with Holly's response. We loved our time there and wish we could go back. Stay here if you ever get the opportunity!!

The host has thought of it all and then some. This place is the perfect location (can’t get any closer to the ocean in Hawaii). Inside is modern. Clean and simple with every comfort you would need. From the common to all of the little details. If you forget something it’s probably provided. Book now. One of the best we have ever stayed. Very close to boardwalk, Dukes and shopping

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! Maui is such a beautiful island and this condo was amazing! The views were stunning and we were so close to the beach, the boardwalk, and great restaurants. It was so fun sitting out on the lanai and watching the whales! Holly had every amenity that you could think of available and the condo was so clean and well taken care of. The communication with Holly was great and we were very comfortable staying here. If we ever return to Maui, this is definitely the place we are going to book! We highly recommend it!

We loved the magnificent views and excellent location of this condo. It was furnished tastefully and well-stocked with essentials. Our only disappointment was the TV, which could not seem to hold an internet connection and we could not find any instructions for it.

The property is top-notch. Pristine view for whale watching. We would not hesitate to go there multiple times in the future. Everything was spotless, and anything that you may have forgotten was already accounted for in this location. Kudos to the owner for keeping it so nice and clean and accommodating for any activity that you would want to do while here.

Wonderful property! Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. We visited in January and loved watching the whales play right from the lanai. The beach boardwalk/walkway is accessible from the property and stretches for several miles.
The condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You don't want to pass this up!
If I am blessed to return to Maui. This is the place I will be staying. Hands down.

Beautiful 1 bedroom condo right up against the ocean. We enjoyed the furnishings, the area, and the amenities of Mahana. Holly is lovely to work with, quick to respond and very accommodating. We highly recommend this unit.

As listed and so much more! We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the lanai. The views of humpback whales and turtles never gets old. Holly has thought of everything to make your stay a wonderful one. We look forward to staying here again when we return to Maui.

This was our first time staying in a condo on Maui. The condo is beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows as well as a spacious lanai. It is nicely decorated and very clean. We were very happy to spend our vacation there and hope to return. The host is very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate us when our flight was cancelled and rebooked at the last minute.

We absolutely loved our stay at this oceanfront condo! The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, and the decor was beautiful and modern. The oceanfront view was breathtaking, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. We watched whales and turtles from the lanai. What really stood out was how exceptionally stocked the condo was – from the kitchen to the bathroom, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, everything was provided, which made our stay so convenient. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and we enjoyed the nearby amenities. Holly made great recommendations for places to eat and was an excellent communicator! Overall, we highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Maui.

The property was exactly as listed. No surprises or issues. Had a great 3rd Anniversary stay. Enjoyed the view from both the living room and bedroom. The couch and bed were both extremely comfortable. The extra toiletries were much appreciated as we forgot to pack them. The property was beautiful and quiet which is what we wanted and needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui. Kudos to the owner for such a great place to stay.

If you're looking for a property with a great location and great view look no further. This property is located on the 2nd floor of the building with absolutely breath-taking views. While the pictures are accurate what see in reality is even better with floor to ceiling windows. Right on the water with views of the ocean and sea life (watched sea turtles bob up and down from the lanai all trip).
There's a lot of food trucks in walking distance that we hit up multiple times and a grocery store right across the street (no need to go to Costco by airport).
A very short drive to Whaler's Village which has lots of shopping and food options (along with free parking) and can walk up and down the beach path to spend the day.

We had a wonderful stay here in maui. Great location for the west side. Floor to ceiling windows with view of the ocean was truly spectacular! Little issue with the check out and getting locked out of the room too early but host was responsive and we were able to get back in.

Overall, the property is exactly as advertised. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Plus, it is hard to imagine finding a place closer to the ocean. Location is also very convenient to Lahaina, Kapalua and many restaurants, services, and beaches. Communication with property manager, Holly, was excellent every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

We reserved this property because of the pictures - the view, and location appeared amazing. Upon arriving, the reality was even better than the pictures. THE VIEW!!! Entering the condo, you open the door, and in front of you is a wall of glass and the Pacific Ocean right behind it. It could just as easily been a view from a cruise ship. FURNISHINGS. Well done, comfortable, contemporary and beachy. SUPPLIES AND AMENITIES. I told Holly, the owner, in a text that I want her to come organize my house. She has thought of everything. You don't even need to bring a toothbrush if you choose. Coffee, cleaning supplies, shampoos, lotions, washer and dryer with detergent. It's all there. Just pack your swim stuff, your exploring stuff, and your going out to dinner stuff and you're good to go. The condo also has beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, even BoFlex dumb bells. The vibe of this resort is great as well. It's clearly been there a while, but upon entering the lobby of Mahana, you get that 60's comfortable vibe, with Hawaiian decor, koa wood, and walls of lava as accents. The pool is basic, but it's really all you need. On the first day, I somehow messed up the remotes for the flat screen tv (by the way, there are two of them!) I texted Holly, who responded immediately and graciously, and we worked it out. She's someone who really cares about her guests. Don't hesitate to book this place (but not when I want to go back, please). It's a wonderful experience.

We have stayed in many VRBO's. We discussed how many of them are misrepresented. We discuss what would make the perfect VRBO, and you have created it here. There was thought put into every detail. Nothing is misrepresented. It was truly amazing. Amazingly appointed with pictures to show how things are stocked, work out equipment, high end stocked kitchen to amazing colors and decor. The condo is exactly as described and the photos don’t do it justice. The views are stunning in general, but absolutely show stopping during sunset. Even in April, we saw countless whales from the balcony while enjoying our coffee or evening cocktails.
The condo is well stocked, the amenities are lovely and the location is perfect with lots of local restaurants and shopping near by.
We will 100% recommended this location to friends/family and return ourselves in the future. An absolute 10/10!

We loved this condo. It was right on the beach and the views were amazing. We could see whales and turtles from the porch. Short driving distance to restaurants. The place was very clean. We spent more nights at the condo but also stayed at the Hyatt so that we could also get a resort experience. The Hyatt was great but the condo view could not be beat. Highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay at this 5 star luxurious condo with every
creature comfort & able to whale watch from lanai, bedroom, dining & living room! Sparkling clean, supplied with all beach needs (snorkel, chairs, umbrella, cooler - all in excellent condition), as well as bathroom/personal hygiene items (tooth brush & paste, shavers, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, sun block, really anything you could ever need). Comfy bed, very comfy couch, great big screen TV's. Extremely responsive and kind owner.
Kitchen also supplied with all excellent condition equipment and supplies. IMHO it just doesn't get any better than this. We'll be back again!

I’ve always loved the location of the Mehana because it’s one of the older condos developed in the area which makes the location better than most. There’s no boardwalk between you and the ocean and you can enjoy the view without people walking through the property the unit was exceptional. The owners have great taste, and the quality is remarkable. Everything was perfect here. I hope to come back soon, I enjoyed my daily walk and there are food carts within a couple blocks Mahalo

We loved staying in this unit! It is well updated and fully stocked. Did have a bit of construction noise during the day from the unit next door and repairs in the front, however we knew this was going to be happening. Definitely would stay in this unit again.

This condo surpassed our expectations. The view was stunning. We could watch surfers, turtles and seals right from the lanai! The sunsets were beautiful.
The location is perfect. The beach is easy to access from the property. We had to walk a couple hundred meters to find a clear spot to walk in the beautiful ocean. Some fun waves to jump and boogie board. Snorkeling was fun. Water is very clear.
You are close to the boardwalk which takes you all the way to the Whaler’s village! There are restaurants, food trucks and grocery stores within walking distance. There is a rental car company within walking distance also.
The balcony was so intimate and perfect for reading, enjoying your coffee or even star gazing at night. Definitely a beautiful condo with everything you need to make this a place you want to come back again! A true gem of a place!

This condo was perfect for me and my wife. Very nice and clean as well as having all the amenities one would need on vacation. Location was very private and provided great views while also being close to various restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and a food truck park. Holly was a great host and was prompt with responding to messages. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo was excellent. It’s in walking distance to many restaurants, food trucks, and a grocery store. The room itself has an amazing view, AC, and has literally everything you could ever need. We really enjoyed the pool and the 30 second walk to the beach. We’d love to come back again!

This was a great VRBO find on the west side of Maui. Close to food and shopping, easy access to the beach, and stocked to the brim with everything you could need to take a day trip on the road to Hana, explore beaches on the coast, or just relax by the pool for the day. Would recommend to anyone and would also stay here again! Thank you!

Thought when we found this listing that it may be too good to be true, but everything was exactly as described. Great, clean space in which the host as made nearly every amenity possible available. Unbeatable location with one of the most beautiful sunset views we've found on the island. Certainly looking forward to coming back again some day.

Holly's property is beautiful. We were only able to stay for three nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. What a great way to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. The icing on the cake was getting a chance to see spinner dolphins right from the lanai. This house had everything you could ever need, including binoculars! Another reviewer mentioned that you do not even realize there are other people around. We would love to come back sometime in the winter to see the whale migration. Many thanks to Holly for a wonderful stay in Maui!
