Our week at Sandcastle was wonderful. So close to the best beach I’ve ever been to (Eagle Beach). It was great to relax with morning coffee poolside, cook together in the spacious kitchen/dining room and gather for games or TV late into the evening. The Island itself offers more than you can possible do in one short week. I highly recommend it!

The property was located in an alley, there was a large dog next door that barked every night, which disturbed my rest & neighbor never tried to calm it. The shower didn't drain well in the bathrooms, I didn't have a bathroom light in the fish room until the last night of my stay, we could not use the hot tub due to a maintenance issue, which I was told I needed to repair, ( not my home nor should it have been my problem to fix) other than these issues the home was as advertised, I wish the advertisement explained in better detail as far as the price for all six bedrooms, gail did clarify afterwards. Julie the house host, was pleasant & accommodating

Absolutely loved the property. Any problems we had Julie responded right away and took care of everything. We loved the home and would definitely recommend.

I asked for input from the ladies on the trip, and all I got was praise. Originally I thought I would hear at least 1 negative comment........but NO. So I'm going to try and get this all correct: House was wonderful - loved it. Loved the house and pool and the caretaker was wonderful. It was perfect for us. Julie was great, got everything fixed fast. All I have to add is that there were very few things not perfect, but anything that wasn't Julie handled quickly. This was a wonderful trip, house and I highly recommend Aruba everyone. The people are the friendliest we have encountered in our travels; helpful, patient, kind.

The house was perfect for our group. We had four adults, five children between 2 and 10 and a teenager. Everyone loved it and there was plenty of room! The casino functioned great as a home office for me when needed and the in-law apartment was the perfect escape for a 17 year old! It was close to everything we needed! We plan to visit again!

the Sandcastle is an absolute treasure we had 9 people and had plenty of room. The pool area was the highlight for my group we would have coffee or drinks outside and just hangout. we will definitely be back

Great hot Tub , the first great for elderly grandmother . The steps to 2 floor were steep but kids learned to navigate . Had good supply of non- breakable dishes . Pool cleaning service excellent and came twice a week . Close to Eagle beach .

Very nice accommodations and location.....close to supermarket, restaurants and various AAA beaches. This was a family trip in the making for many months (year) due to Covid. The Sandcastle fit the bill perfectly......enough bedrooms to handle our family along with spacious lounging areas both inside and poolside. Great Bar and BBQ setup for our nighttime dinner preparations. Communication with Gail (Host) and property manager (Julie) was excellent....very quick to respond and address questions/concerns. We will definitely be back to the sandcastle with our future visits to Aruba.....One Happy Island!!........One Happy Vacation!!

Great responsiveness from owner and property management team.

Sandcastle was an amazing home! The pictures do not do it justice. We loved the pool, hot tub & Tiki Bar! The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, dishes & cooking utensils. There were plenty of towels & beach towels. The bedrooms were spacious and each one was colorfully themed. The beds were very comfortable. We loved that it was centrally located between Eagle and Palm Beach and very conveniently located to Superfoods. Any questions we had, Gail, the property owner, answered in a timely manner. It was like our home away from home. We loved our stay at Sandcastle. We had an amazing time there! Thank you Gail!!

Rented the house due to nothing being available in the OBX where we have been going every year for the last 15. Needed a place where hurricanes wouldn't be a factor. Decided on Aruba and found the Sandcastle. Nice house, excellent grounds and amenities. A couple hiccups along the way but they were addressed by the owner and property manager Julie. Great location but walking to beach a stretch. House stocked well, the pool and hot tub were a hit. Would rent again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is great and truly feels like you are at home. Kitchen and outside bar is stocked with everything you need. Outdoor space with pool and bar and grill is great for relaxing. House is within walking distance of Super Foods where you can get anything you will need. You can also walk to Eagle Beach. Short car ride or taxi to Palm Beach and High rise hotel area. Also short ride to Oranjestad. Julie met us for check-in and was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this for a family get away. In the era of COVID we were grateful to be close to many attractions, but able to have our own space to relax.

We love staying at the Sandcastle! It's a beautiful property in a wonderful location. We love to stop by the grocery store (<2 min away), head to the beach, and then finish the day cooling off in the pool in the beautiful backyard oasis. Thank you for your hospitality and another wonderful stay in Aruba! We are ready to plan our next trip!

The beach chairs and coolers were especially convenient when traveling to the beach. The ice maker was a very nice surprise, super helpful when filling up the coolers for the beach! Julia was very friendly, patient with us and assisted with any questions we had. The only request I would make would be to have an extra gate key. We had 7 adults and 2 jeeps, there were times when we all left but didn't go to the same place or return at the same time so it made it difficult to only have 1 gate key.

We had five couples everything was great plenty a room everything was clean it has a beautiful bar pool and hot tub outside close in proximity to everything it was a great week would definitely rent there again the owners are excellent people to deal with as well as the property manager

Every couple years a small group of 10 of us like to travel. We found a great home to rent for the 9 traveling this year at the Sandcastle! Very relaxing home with cozy feel. A pool to lounge around and in was very needed for a relaxing vacation. Very conveniently located to the main roads to get around for site seeing. Super foods just a few blocks away to get groceries when we had a craving! The beaches were just 10 minutes away by car and were fantastic. Baby beach is amazing for relaxing and snorkling! Take a bag of frozen corn to lure the fish in. The will eat it out of your hand! The scuba diving was great and highly recommend Palm Beach Divers for that. The owner Robin is great. Gail and Richard were always just a quick call away to answer any of our questions. Very good people that are like friends. Cannot say enough about them. If you are looking for a family destination, The Sandcastle is your place!!!

The owners, Gail and Richard were gracious and friendly hosts, and provided champagne glasses and a lovely welcome package for our group of 5 ladies. We came to Aruba to celebrate a milestone birthday and start 2020 off on a perfect note, and the Sandcastle provided a perfect oasis to start and end our days exploring the island. The property manager Julie was a pleasure to deal with and she responded to inquires quickly, and with upbeat friendliness and warmth. Julie also provided excellent restaurant recommendations so we could experience local cuisine. Following our hosts tips, we visited many beaches, and really appreciated having beach chairs and coolers and plastic tableware available to use free of charge. Gail and Richard also lent us a beach umbrella to keep us sheltered from the hot sun. The themed bedrooms have a perfect Caribbean flair, and the kitchen and outdoor bar, tiki hut, pool and hot tub are top notch! The pictures of the property currently available don’t do the property justice. The house and backyard oasis are really lovely, and the location is in close proximity to the best of everything Aruba has to offer. I’ll be recommending this property to family and friends. I highly recommend this property if you’re planning a trip to this happy island.

We enjoyed our stay at the sandcastle house. The agent was very helpful and acted quickly when the downstairs toilets wouldn’t flush. I wish they would of had WiFi on the second floor of the house but I was on vacation so it was nice to have a break from the internet. The property was beautiful and the house was clean. Thank you for having us!

Bathroom floors are recessed causing a terrible tripping hazard. One toilet was clogged and the Air conditioner condensation leaked in the room . The house was beautiful but showing some signs of age

The house was great!

Our family, 10 of us, enjoyed our stay at Sandcastle and Aruba. When we were not at the beach, we enjoyed the pool and patio. The kitchen was well equipped and so was the outdoor kitchen. Although we did not us the casino room, it was well stocked with games. We were within walking distance of Super Foods but drove so not to have to carry groceries. All in all we would stay at Sandcastle on our next visit to Aruba.

Loved this property! Perfect for a group of 10-12 people, and big enough for you to have your own space or share the space with others. Julie was awesome and always on duty; Gail's communication was constant and consistent. We reserved all of the entire property for 7 days and had a blast! Property has privacy and a security system that definitely works (we set the alarm off by mistake a couple of times) and overall it just felt like home. Two suggestions: Put some type of "Watch your step" signs by the bathroom doors and some type of rail by the pool entrance for those of us who are young at heart but not necessarily young in age :) I love this property and would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a place to stay this is the place, everything you need, plus a pool-hot tub(and believe me you will use it)and a great outside bar area with all the works...for the house I'll give it a 10.very close to Super Food store and only minutes to the beaches.......

It was a Girl's Trip to Sandcastle. The home was clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed to cook and party! Relaxing by the pool was a plus. We loved the gas grill and cooked and dined in the backyard, which was very nice. It was a quick walk to Super Foods market for everything we needed. However, we all thought that a walk to Eagle Beach was much more challenging since traffic was crazy, and a lot further than a 20 minute walk. Also, the steps were a bit of a challenge for 2 of us with knee issues, but we managed fine. All in all, the 4 of us had a great time and would recommend Sandcastle.

The Sandcastle property added to the experience of my first trip to this truly Happy Island. Our host Julie and owners Gail and Richard helped our group immediately feel welcomed and provided useful of recommendations for adventures and dining experiences. All our expectations of the property were easily met. Gail and Richard added some little personal touches that really added to our trip. The home is cozy, spacious, well maintained and equipped for your stay. The outdoor pool area was are perfect for lazy mornings in or late nights after a day of exploring the island. Sandcastle and the island's beauty combine for a perfect vacation.
