Beautiful setting for meal gatherings, group meetings in the porch, bonfires overlooking beautiful Serpent Lake and walking distance to the park and quaint downtown shops.

This was our second week at The Lake House and it couldn’t have been better. The house is set up so perfectly, fully stocked with everything needed to stay organized, cook up a storm, and relax. The porch is a dream on both sunny and rainy days, and we spent hours out there playing games and reading. The house has many places to spread out for quiet time, and bedrooms are spacious and comfy. Downtown Crosby is just blocks away, and has wonderful restaurants and shops. We brought our own boat and the guest dock is perfect. Our kids love the swimming platform, too — and dozens and fish were caught off the dock. The property is lovely with beautiful pines, shade and fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location. Nice cozy cabin. Everything you needed was there. We had rain for a couple days which was a damper but all in all we had a great time.

This is a great place for a family vacation. We enjoyed the home, lake, bike trail and Crosby. Hoping to get back soon!

I have stayed at many VRBO places around the world and I can honestly say that this was my favorite. The house has amazing view of the lake, the porch was our favorite place to hang out and there were beds galore. This was the best stocked kitchen ever. Love that they labeled where everything was. The house was so clean that both my sisters ran into a window to the porch, thinking it was an open door. My absolute favorite place was the fire pit. Watching the sunset, a fire roaring and a glass of wine….heaven. The owners were SO nice and always responsive. Would love to stay for a month to enjoy more of the activities that Crosby has to offer. Anybody who doesn’t enjoy this property, probably doesn’t like puppies either.

Disappointed with lack of cleanliness throughout VRBO including bathrooms, dishes, porch furniture, etc. No boat lift or place to dock boat as indicated, no beach, one TV in a bedroom. Expensive for above reasons and lack of upkeep.

It’s hard to find the right words to summarize the 8 nights we spent at the lake house! The owners thought about everything — the kitchen and laundry were labeled, little notes in the right places. The porch was our favorite — day and night. Tons of space to spread out to read a book or take a nap, or to come together and play games or share a meal. The house was clean and spacious. We loved the Young Living products used to clean — a couple of us are chemically sensitive. The kitchen was so easy and enjoyable to work in. Beds were comfy, bathrooms wonderful. The house is quiet and set off from the road. We loved hearing the loons! Our family are big mountain bikers so we loved being a few blocks from the paved trail and the connector trails. We also walked over the park, grocery store or to eat/drink/get ice cream/shop every day. So convenient to everything. The lakefront has a lovely guest dock for a rental boat (or your own). We also enjoyed the floating swimming dock. We will be back as soon as we can find another opening!

We had a great stay here for the week. The lake was really nice and the yard was perfect for kids to run. House was big and the kitchen was well stocked. It did get pretty warm and stuffy in the house in the evenings with just the 2 wall ac units, but they have fans every where, which helped some. Tiffany answered all my questions prior to our stay in a timely manner and was super friendly. We will consider staying again!

On hot humid days, the upstairs was difficult to keep air moving. Even with that, we would definitely go back!

Great location within walking distance to downtown Crosby. House has large porch, big picnic table in dining room and kitchen big enough to gather around the chef. Perfect for a family get together. Wonderful view of Lake Serpent.

This was the third years stay. All was as expected. The only negative is ability to cool property in extended hot conditions (above 90) due to limited AC. You always have the lake to cool you in the days but hot nights are a challenge. But this is it for negatives I could come up with after three years of renting the property.

The Lake House was spacious for two families with kids. Three rooms upstairs and two downstairs provided some privacy for each family. The kitchen was very well equipped, the yard was huge for kids to run around, the shops were walking distance away and the biking trails were located close enough even for the kids to ride there. We had so much to do and not enought time. A great place to spend time with family and friends.

We loved the house. Had everything we needed! The porch was probably where we were the most. The weather was cold and rainy, but perfect for a nap on the porch. We hope to return again when it's warmer and we can take advantage of the water.
