This was a fabulous condo. The view from the balcony is right on the beach and amazing, and we had coffee out there every morning.We only had an issue once after getting into the condo, and Jamie resolved it immediately when I called. Location is away from all the commercial stuff, which we loved. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because from the photos, it looked like the chairs were high (which I was searching for so we did not have to look through the bars when seated). But they were regular height chairs. Also, we brought some wine and snacks to enjoy on the balcony in the evening, and there were no wine glasses- only water and juice glasses.

Condo was just as described and perfect for our family of five. Two adults, a teen and two under 10. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed to make some meals in, and had a keurig and a regular coffee pot. The view from the balcony was great and a good place to watch dolphins out in the water. The beach was never crowded and always clean and each to get out free beach service. The kids enjoyed the pool for late night swims each night, it was never crowded either. It was nice that the second bedroom has two beds so all three kids could sleep in a bed instead of putting someone on a pull out couch. The neighborhood felt safe and allowed my teenager and I to get out safely for a run each morning. Good restaurants nearby, try Fubar and High Tide. We also went to the Gulfarium while there and all enjoyed that a lot! We will stay at this location again the next time we visit.

We had ants in the kitchen. We were notified the dishwasher didn’t work. We waited almost 24 hours for dish soap after the notification. Spoke with Beverly a couple times and she was very nice to accommodate the issues. The maintenance guy came in the next day to fix the ant issue. Difficulty watching tv as majority of channels would glitch out too much. Loved the view. Property is exactly as the listing says.

Thank you Sugar Sands for a home-away-from-home to spend our family vacation. We had everything we needed. 4 adults and 8-year-old child. Condo provided comfort and privacy.
Property management is very helpful and responsive.
We used the Xplorie discount on a few activities. It was very easy to use.
Summerlin is a lower density condominium building. Parking was a breeze. Elevator usage was not a problem.
Great location. Beach is absolutely beautiful.
The bridge from Fort Walton is under construction, even so, the traffic is nothing like Destin and PCB.
Definitely will return.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It worked great for our last minute visit to the beach! My kids loved that there were sand toys to play with and they had a great time swimming in the pool too.

The Unit has everything you need! It was very roomy and clean. We will definitely consider this room for our next trip. Enjoyed our stay very much. Comfortable beds and all accommodations available were sufficient.
The only problem was the coffee maker use. Did not work properly and overflowed because of drip/fill issues. Thankfully found another smaller coffee maker to use instead.

The carpet in the two bedrooms needs to be replaced with floor tile like the main living area. The carpet in both is dirty and stained and does not match the rest of the condo's clean mode. I will stay again but would be checking if the carpet has been replaced before I booked it.

Mr. Howard The location and floor plan were EXCELLENT.Interior accommodations were SUB PAR for the price. We paid almost $3,000. Towels were shop wore and thin. Cookware was terrible and inadequate. Appliances dated. Paint was a nice color with bumps and bruises plentiful. Could us touch up. Carpet in master stained and needs replaced. NOT what we expected for SS Rental. We loved our stay here! Access to the beach was easy and the pool was just good enough for the kids to enjoy it. The property was well spaced and convenient for our family of 4! The view was awesome and we loved it being a corner unit so we could watch sun rise and the pier view. I don’t need to tell you about the sugar sand beaches, if you’re already looking, you already know. We loved the quiet secluded area but there was still plenty of friends to make. 10/10 Book it!

We would highly recommend - we visit a few times a year this visit we had some new arrivals the day before we left and they were VERY LOUD, obnoxious and RUDE LATE LATE at night. otherwise this is a perfect pick, it's a bit dated could use fresh paint but it's the best property in the area.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Panhandle area for the first time in many years. Very nice amenity to have chairs and umbrella ready each morning. The attendants were super friendly and helpful-- please pass that along to them. FWB is a good location to see many things in the Destin -to- Pensacola region. We got to see a lot. And the quiet time at the beach right there at Summerlin was great--relaxing and quiet. We'll definitely be in touch for future visits. ( Only rating below that was not 5 star-- kitchen needed some more bowls and silverware.)

Overall, the experience was great! Condo was clean and had the basics that we needed. The balcony chairs in the photos did not represent the actual chairs currently on the balcony....that was a minor issue as I selected this condo with bar height chairs so the beach could be viewed without looking through the rails. Master bed was very comfortable. Beach chair/umbrella service was very nice! I would stay in this condo again.

We enjoyed staying here. We’ve been to Summerlin before but different condo. We liked this corner condo bc of all the windows! The condo does need a little updating, but we prefer beach over condo so wasn’t a huge deal to us. The management was very sweet when I talked to them. Will use again! :)
