We had a great time in Roquetas de Mar, it's an ideal location to go to as it's a little quieter than other sun holiday areas which suited us perfectly. We took day trips to Almería and Granada which were both easy to travel to from the apartment. Everything was very easy to access in the area and we felt very safe and welcome all through the week. This apartment is ideally located and the lift, WiFi and AirCon are all definite advantages. Plenty of space for four people both inside and out with all the necessary utensils, mod cons etc. The shower is very powerful and having Irish channels on the televisions was an added bonus. We really did have a great week and we were very impressed at how close everything was and how friendly everyone was to us in the restaurants, bars etc. We also loved the fact that we were the only Irish people in the whole area! Thanks to Frank and Pauline for their exceptional care and attention. We highly recommend this apartment.

Well maintained apartment with all mod cons and a roof which gets the sun all day long ...sunbather’s paradise. Great tapas bars and restaurants close by and 18km. promenade which affords as much or as little exercise (walking or cycling ) to those inclined.would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely 2 bed apartment with all amenities in a quiet area of Roquetas de Mar resort. Large Rooftop terrace with sun all day and beautiful views. Five minutes walk to the beach and promenade. Close proximity to a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops.

Great property with sea views. Fantastic roof terrace, in good complex with communal pool . cafes and bars nearby. Shops, beach and lovely long promenade within 3 minute walk. I would Highly recommend this property.

A perfect location for that quiet relaxing holiday. Loved the array of local cafes and bars, as well as the lovely beach walks. The apartment had everything we needed: space; cooking facilities; TV; and a fabulous balcony and roof terrace. Hopefully, the first of many stays!!!!!

The perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach restaurants and bike shop. Long promenade for walking and a fabulous cycle path which we used every day. Sunshine and serenity😁

The property was in a very central location,only a two minute walk to the beach and a number of restaurants. It was very clean with loads of linen and a very welcome starter pack of water,milk and teabags . Lovely location for a walker as the promenade stretched for miles. Bus stop was a two minute walk also. We ate in a number of different restaurants and would recommend all. We will be returning to the area and to this apartment if it's available when we are.

Appartement très propre, conforme aux photos et très confortable: ventilateurs aux plafonds et climatiseurs dans les 2 chambres et le séjour, lave-linge, four, micro-ondes, linge de maison fourni. De plus le logement est très bien situé, on peut tout faire à pied: supermarché bon marché à 200 m, plage surveillée de 14km très propre et peu fréquentée à 200m, animations gratuites le soir au château Santa Ana à 10 mn à pied. On peut aussi se garer facilement. Enfin la piscine (pataugeoire + bassin moyen/grand) est ouverte tous les jours de 10h00 à 22h00. Ambiance familiale. Je recommande vraiment ce logement, excellent rapport qualité/prix (le ménage, le wifi, l'eau et l'électricité -si on ne dépasse pas 3 euros par jour d'électricité- sont inclus dans le prix). Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

We stayed in the apartment for 11 nights. I have to say we couldn't ask for better. Apartment was lovely and clean and had everything in it you could possibly want. It has a roof terrace which we didn't use as there is another balcony just off sittingroom which had a lovely table and chairs there. Very safe and secure apartment block. 3 minutes walk to the beach. would have no hesitation returning in the morning

Excellent restaurants in area. Magnificent Promenade with plenty of seating. Buses and supermarket nearby. A really great place for a holiday and hope to return very soon.

The apartment was great, very clean comfortable and spacious had everything we needed, lovely views from balcony and roof terrace. English TV was a great plus Lots of great bars serving Tapas, especially the aloha bar, La Taska and the MiraMar which is a very short walk from the apartment on the sea front, amazing tapas. Lots of Tapas bars in the Harbour especially the Aurora which is a short walk from apartment, Also not forgetting the Oasis and Cullar bar which was worth the walk. The December weather was lovely, looking for a affordable winter holiday give this a try, glad we did. Will book again waiting for the flights to come up Will defiantly return and recommend.

Right from the initial contact owner Frank was very helpful and also resort manager Sharon was very welcoming and efficient. Apartment itself is comfortable and well appointed, with outside eating space with table and chairs just outside the living room, and a lovely sun-deck on the roof with all day sun. Apartment is quietly located only a couple of minutes from the beach, with supermarket, bus stop and restaurants all within an easy walk. Lots of parking nearby if you have a car - we took the opportunity to visit the local area including Granada whilst we were there and had a great time. Highly recommended!

We had a great week in Roquetas de Mar. Apartment is home away from home. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. The wifi and aircon are a great addition. We would sit on the balcony each evening and take in the views before heading our for a bite to eat in one of the many local restaurants. Apartment itself is a 3 minute stroll from the beach. We went during June and the resort wasn't too busy which meant we could easily get front row loungers at the beach anytime of day. The apartment is perfect for couples or families and the resort is great for both too. We'll be back next year!

This apartment was like coming home. So many personal touches left us feeling we were so welcomed.Usually apartments for rent are cold clinical places devoid of any personal items, this one superseded all other Apartment places I have been. The pool was superb well guarded very clean and open all the time. The beach was about 2-3 minutes walk from the Apartment and likewise free from litter, the water was warm and absolutely lovely for swimming.In the surrounding area restaurants were abundant the streets were quiet no noise at night and we always felt safe when out walking. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. And of course within easy reach of all the shops Mary Egan

This place is a little treasure. My second stay here, this time with my teenage son & daughter. Again, met at airport by Sharon, the apt manager who is so helpful, adds another comfort for me (40 min journey). The apt is clean and comfortable but the balcony and rooftop are the real gems - so relaxing. Roquetas de Mar is not overly touristy but has plenty to offer - the promenade and beach goes on for miles with lovely café/restaurants - perfect for the cuppa or cocktail. Have to mention Café Portamar, just across the street from apt, great breakfast and San Rocco in Playa Serena for evening meal is a must do - delicious food (taxi from the apt €5 or stroll there in 40 mins). Local food store 5 mins walk away with or large supermarket 20 mins walk - the apt has all the amenities to cook up a meal and we did – and of course eat on the balcony! Should say, as this is a penthouse apt, there are two lifts making it accessible to all ages. Good bus service to Almeria and well worth a trip for the views en route – plenty of museums and places of interest along with wonderful tapas bars. we were met at the apartment by Mark and Sharon, really lovely apartment managers. The apartment itself is great, it had everything we needed: hob, oven, microwave, iron, hairdryer, plenty of pots/pans, crockery/cutlery. There is a bookcase with a good variety of books. 2 good sized bedrooms with large wardrobes. On the balcony, from where u have lovely sea views, there is a large table and chairs. The roof terrace,which has sun all day, also has table and chairs and a shower which is great for cooling off. The sea views from roof are beautiful. The apartment is in a 'perfect position' in roquetas. From the front door a 3 minute walk directly ahead takes you to Taska, run by Manola and Aloha, run by Salvadore, both family run, and great tapas bars. A few minutes walk to the left past aloha's takes you to bar southern, run by Julie and Kevin and their daughter, they do great breakfasts, Sunday lunches and tapas (you may need to book Sunday lunch) but very reasonable cost. 15 minutes on down to left on promenade takes you to the port which has lots of small bars/restaurants. Our favourite was 'aurora' which had the largest tapas in town. Sandra is wonderful. From the promenade across from us turn right and 15 minutes walk takes you to 'gorilla' and lots more bars/restaurants/shops. Our favourite had to be Roma, an Italian restaurant. Their menu, which goes on all day, is great value for money. For 9.90 you have 2 courses. A further 15 walk in that direction takes you to the main tourist area with lots more bars/restaurants. There are 2 great golf courses, 1 a 5 minute drive, Serena, which is completely flat, the other at Envia, which is about 20 minute drive and is set into the mountain and beautiful. There is a regular bus service which takes you to town and gran plaza, a large shopping centre which has a primark. There is also a well stocked supermarket a 5 minute walk that has everything you would need for a holiday. I also have to say that the spanish people here are very friendly. It is not nearly as touristy as other parts of spain. I would have no problem recommending this lovely apartment and area to my family and friends as it is perfectly located and the owners and managers are really nice and helpful.
