Great experience.

The cabin is great but the hottub had not been cleaned. there was dirt all over the seats and the bottom of the tub also we found an old coffee filter with grounds still in the coffee maker. old enough that they had mold on them. The only other cabins we have ever been to were in Gatlinburg and we always had a cleaned and fresh hottub .

We spent a beautiful long weekend at this property. It was spacious and clean. The porch addition was our favorite place to sit with coffee or a glass of wine. It is remote so you will need groceries before you arrive. The drive to the nearest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes down the mountain. It’s worth it to be able to spend time in such a gorgeous area and house. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property.

The pool table, foosball and Golden Tee video game made for a nice filler for our weekend visiting family in Boone. Kids and adults had a great time playing pool and enjoying the hot tube in the evening. It should be noted up front that this house has no Air Conditioning which might be commonplace in this region and fortunately even in August the temperatures where not too bad. If you like your AC set at 76-78 degrees you will be fine here and they do provide box fans upstairs but you can't sleep with your windows open on a ground floor room and feel safe these days. The kitchen is fully stocked with every type of cookware imaginable and the grill is big enough to cook burgers for a football team. All in all this is a very nice home with ample sleeping and gathering areas and the location is perfect with easy to drive roads and easy access into the home on a flat surface.

This family trip was in fulfillment of my 87 year old grandmother's request. We enjoyed our stay at the Fireside Lodge. The home was clean and equipped with most amenities, as stated. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear. The property manager was very responsive before and during our stay. We all enjoyed our weekend here.

Property was great and as advertised. Only issue we saw with the property the basement shower was slow to drain. Other than that it was a great place and the family loved it.

We had a wonderful family time in Beech mountain. It snowed 7-9 inches the night we arrived. We had to walk to the ski slopes the next day! Perfect weekend and beautiful house!

They had a Christmas tree and lights on when we checked in. Super close to everything. Fabulous walks in the woods. House was beautiful and spacious for all us. Games galore. Everyone had an amazing time!

Beautiful house! Our family celebrated Christmas together in Beech Mountain. The home was beautifully decorated! So spacious and clean! Our family loved the game room, making s’mores by the outdoor fireplace and spending quality time together!! Highly recommend! We will be back!!

We loved this cabin and the view . There was enough room for us all to stretch out and enjoy the cabin! The hot tub was great !! We even got a surprise of waking up to snow Saturday morning ! So exciting !! We enjoyed playing pool downstairs and hanging out on the back porch. The sunroom was so cozy; curled up in the chair with your blanket and book in hand. enjoying the view . The kiddos enjoyed the game selections there Kitchen was loaded with about anything you could ask for . Definitely recommend this Property for a perfect family weekend get away ! Will book again ❤️

Everything was perfect at the Fireside Lodge! Plenty of room and exactly what we wanted in the quiet mountain woods. There were neighbors but we never heard a thing. Hot tub worked great, we grilled, played pool and used the fire pit. The property managers were excellent with correspondence and responded very promptly. Highly recommend them and we intend on using them again. Thanks for the awesome stay Carolina Cabins!

The house is better in person than the pictures. We were very happy during our short stay. The location is great! We went to the Land of Oz Autumn Festival and it was only a 5 minute drive. The rest of time we just enjoyed family time in the game room and in the living room. Thank you so much!

We really liked the house. However, the tub was basically not working and we had to contact the manager every 2 days to clean the dirty filters. The second week the tap water started turning brown and the manager couldn't fix it so we were using bottled water. We notfied the manager and vrbo about the issue and hope it was fixed fo rthe next tenants.

We went to NC a few days early to meet family before our daughters wedding in TN. The cabin was everything we had hoped for. Very spacious and John was very easy to connect with when I had a question. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Great house. The kids loved the game room. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. We travel once a year with entire family to the mountains and first time in this area

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is beautifully decorated and very clean and we enjoyed the game room, the fully appointed kitchen and hot tub. Only downside is that it is tough to get to and a bit removed from everything. Also, given the altitude we were fogged in one day where down the mountain in Blowing Rock it was much sunnier and clearer. There are some limitations on dining options on Beech Mountain this time of year. It seems like things are just starting to open up for the summer season and the restaurants we tried were understaffed.

This was our first experience with Carolina cabins and it was perfect!!! The cabin was beautiful!! The cabin is perfectly furnished and had everything we could have wanted. The o ly thing that would have been nice was if there had been strings of lights outside around the fire pit But it was everything we needed and wanted Thank you!!!

The house has a lot of space and is very open. The game room in the basement is great for kids.

Wonderful cabin for a family of 6! Plenty of room to spread out and fun games for kids to play! Perfect location for skiing at Beech Mtn and seeing local attractions. We had at least 10 deer come by the cabin every night which made it very special. Look forward to coming back!

We stayed at Fireside Lodge while we went skiing for MLK weekend. It was just a couple of miles from beech mountain ski resort which made it easy to come home for lunch while skiing. The wood fireplace was a perfect backdrop for board games with the kids at night (and firewood was delivered daily for a small fee). We had 5 kids with us and they enjoyed the hot tub, the variety of board games/puzzles, and the Golden Tee video game. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of seating for a large group. I will definitely rent this home again in the future.

The cabin is very spacious and surrounded by lots of wildlife such as deer. The kids enjoyed the game room and the open floorplan helped everyone easily connect. The cabin was lit up with Christmas lights and a beautiful Christmas tree, which my Christmas crazy family was thrilled about. The rooms did get pretty warm at night but all was manageable. It was the perfect family getaway the week before Christmas and we will be reserving again in the future!

We enjoyed this trip so much. The fireside lodge was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen and the fire pit was fun! Everyone enjoyed the game room too! My kids couldn’t get enough of the deer that were almost always in the backyard! Would definitely rent again.

The Fireside Lodge exceeding expectations for our family. We have 4 kids and a dog and the house was absolute gold for us. Firepit, hot tub, bunk beds, game room downstairs, quick access to some great hikes...this house and location hit the spot! The house is huge with great amenities and we plan to be back next Fall!

Hot tub worked great, had a blast watching sports while playing pool, saw 4 deer, went hiking, went to a local restaurant, cooked breakfast, good showers, solid view. Loved it!

Upon arrival we loved the home, it was very spacious! So much room for everyone and lots of extras for the family to enjoy. The family enjoyed playing pool, fusball and several others. We did not try out the hot tub, the water was questionable. The cleanliness of the home was questionable. We had to wet mop the kitchen floor upon arrival, it was all sticky and had glitter everywhere. The coffeepot still had grinds in it and several of the baking pans were greasy. All the rooms could've used a good dusting and none of the carpets were vacumned. There was pieces of food and/or snacks on the carpets still. The sheets on the bed upstairs had blood spots on them, we took those off and used blankets to lay on. With all the diseases in this world right now we didn't want to take a chance at all. Downstairs the trashcan had beer cans in it still and random paper trash. The sleeping accomadations were great, plenty of room to spare. The only thing we recommend is to put in some sort of stairway or access to the back yard from the front, trying to get down that hill, all of us took falls throughout the stay. It's very steep and slippery there. You could also access the firepit if you went in the front door and down a few flights of stairs, it was alot of steps to walk though for people with any leg or ankle pains. The deer were plentiful and beautiful, they came with 5 ft. of us without fear and we had dogs. They were around day and night. Overall the stay was great, cleanliness needs improvement for the amount you pay for cleaning prior to your visit!!

We took this much-needed getaway for our 14th anniversary. We travel often, but due to COVID, we haven't had the opportunity to take a trip in over 6 months. Walking in the door, we felt right at home. The furniture was comfortable and the house was exactly as pictured. You may want to update the picture of the grill on the porch because we bought charcoal and it turns out the grill was upgraded to gas. Regardless, we enjoyed cooking at the house! It rained most of our trip, which was fine with me. I spent my mornings reading on the covered back porch and in the sunroom with a cup of coffee while my husband worked for a few hours. I spent my afternoons reading on both porches with a glass of wine. It was the most relaxed I have felt in a very long time. Our friends arrived on Friday night and we enjoyed the hot-tub and the fire pit. We had hoped to spend more time by the fire pit, but the rain stopped us. The water in the hot tub was a bit questionable and the device that held the chlorine was empty but it was a nice amenity. We played pool, Golden Tee, and watched sports on both Friday and Saturday night downstairs. What a fun space! My OCD would only suggest adding coasters in the rooms on the main level and downstairs. 5 stars for sure and we are already making plans to come back in the Spring.

This cabin is perfect for a weekend away. Spacious with amazing views. The rooms are all great in size and there is tons of room to bring air mattresses for people to sleep on in the living areas.

This house is so beautiful! It comfortably fit my family, 7 total with room to spare. The kitchen had a good amount of dishes/cookware. With the rain that we had, the pool table and foosball table were an added bonus to help keep the teenagers occupied. The views were great from the third floor as the sun was setting. And last, the fire pit was (looks like recently added) great to make s'mores and hang out to socialize. Thank you again, we will be back to Fireside Lodge!! The Dolson and Stevenson families

Better than expected. Place is nice and larger than expected overall. Fire pit area was great! Enjoyed the covered decks with nice Adirondack chairs and watching deer cross the property. Gigantic TV in family room, fun game room and all furnishings/bedding comfortable. Kitchen area is a little tight, but nice, well stocked, etc. We normally try different places on return visits but very good chance we’ll rent here again; family loved it and allowed to bring a pet.

We had an amazing time in the mountains at the Fireside Lodge. The house was clean with many amenities. We would stay there again.
