Very kind staff and the structure is very big and with a lot of servicies. The common area is very confortable.

Location is excellent, close to everything and still quiet. Personnel is kind and friendly. I was lucky with the other guests, they were interesting and cool. Cute cat and dog. The locker size is more or less ok. Small towel provided, based on my previous hostel experiences that doesn't come always as default. Possibility to store your food in the fridge. Luggage storage is a big plus. Bed was comfortable. Nice patio.

What other guests described as negative it's unfortunately true, I'll just try to list the most inconvenient things. The dormitory of 10 beds is veeery packed and there are only 8 lockers. Showers without separation, unfortunate structure for the shower and toilet (but there's luckily another toilet next to the reception). Soap was almost empty next to the toilet when I arrived, I asked to have it refilled, checked it later on and nothing happened. I think I overpaid the city tax as I've been asked 5 EUR while - as I saw afterwards - it should be 1,5 EUR/night. It was a bit strange for me that anyone could go in and out in the hostel, even in our room, I didn't feel it too secure. Since I had the locker it compensated a bit. Small thing to mention is that you'll have to make your bed for yourself (bed linen is provided). No microwave (but at least there's an oven and a kettle). I couldn't find any paper/pen in the kitchen to label my food. Price and quality ratio is not realistic, but still the cheapest option when travelling alone in the area.

Very good location, close to the beach and nice restaurants. Comfortable bed, spacious balcony and a clean and well equipped kitchen. Very friendly staff. Cute dogs and cats.

Position is perfect and staff is friendly and gives good advice They provide also a number of intersting services, and can handle your laundry for you (with additional payment of course)

Regarding the dormitory : it is not satisfactory 10 beds in a cramped space, two showers with no separation between them, one toilet (and you have to go through the showers) is not enough for 10 people Especially compared to the price, even if Makarska is expensive, it was my most pricey hostel among the several I did in Croatia This is a business run by a nice family and maybe the other rooms are ok, but I would not recommend the dormitory there

Good location, close to waterfront where boat trips go from and also short walk from bus station

Staff were not always around and were not clear on prices, didn't want to honour the rates given on booking.com

The room was cozy and clean with a great terrace. location was so perfect everything is nearby

Good location. Pretty good AC. Good kitchen and nice out door area. Nice shower and bathroom en suite.

The owner felt like he was kind of angry with the guests at times. People had been promised free parking but then he wanted cash bc of limited space. Sometimes difficult to find staff and the kitchen was occipied by friends of the owner the whole day.

Everything about the property was exceptional, but most of all I liked the staff, very nice people. Also, the location of the hostel was perfect.
